We came in on a Friday night to celebrate my friend's birthday. I had requested a bottle of Champagne to be at the table. It wasn't and we never did receive it. I was seated in a spot where the headlights from cars on a side street blinded me every couple of minutes. Service was super slow right from the start. Took 15 minutes to get a drink order and app order in. Took another 15 minutes for drinks to be delivered...one at a time! Turned out our server forgot one drink and our appetizer...so only three of us could "cheers". Took another 15 minutes before the server came back to take our entree orders, and we could tell her about the drink and app error. She claimed our friend never ordered a drink by that she did totally forget the app. Sluggish service continued. The food entree's came out room temp. but very tasty. We chose not to prolong our stay and settled up and went down the street for another round of drinks. They don't seem to be ready for business, and the space was incredibly loud.

The dishes were quite good. An excellent blend of ingredients to make the mouth water. Unfortunately, the service was subpar and the restaurant is quite loud. It might be better if you were along a wall or window. I had made reservations for four a few days in advance and was put in the middle of the dining room.

Birthday dinner for my 85 year old father. He loved it and is still talking about it. The food is excellent and our waitress Erin was the best. One of our favorite restaurants! Thank you!

A little small and crowded. The food was excellent and I loved the freshly made pasta. I did find the wine to be overpriced and not very good. I would recommend getting mixed drinks instead. I would go only w small groups of people.

We had a great time and a nice table at a window. The air was a tad bit smokey, but nothing disturbing as some other reviews suggested. Most excellent food and attentive and friendly service. The menu changes often and the dishes are very creative.

This was our first time here, and we are beyond satisfied with our experience--from the moment we walked in until the time we left, an all-around wonderful experience. The wait staff is super polite and knowledgeable and the food is INCREDIBLE. There were 4 of us; we ordered 2 warm arugala salads to split and then 2 of us had lasagna and 2 had risotto. I really can't praise the chef enough. We will DEFINITELY be back!

It’s a cute place and I️ thought the food was excellent . It is a noisy place I️ think they were playing loud music in the background which didn’t help the noise level also a big downside is the smell it seems their kitchen vents aren’t great so you leave smelling like an oven !! My coat and silk shirt needs to be sent to dry cleaning for sure so wear what you can throw in the washer and come enjoy the food, the chestnut soup was fantastic and so were the salads and pasta .

We gave Cantinetta a second chance and we were very pleased. The first time the service was unfriendly and snooty, that ruins my experience and that of a lot of people I know. I worked in the hospitality industry for Columbia Hospitality, honest care for guests is crucial.
Our server, the manager and the lady helping the server were very good.

Neither my mom or I hadn’t been in for some time and we both exclaimed that we forgot how great Cantinetta is and that we’d be back soon! We tried three different mains and all were fantastic. The truffle polenta is not to be missed and the desserts were great as well. The service staff was clearly well-trained, experienced, attentive, and appeared to really enjoy their job. My youngest son is a picky eater so the kitchen put together some simple pasta with butter and cheese that he devoured. Can’t wait to return.

Have been several times. The last few visits, it has been very smoky in there from the kitchen. My wife and I both had to take showers and air out our clothes after our evening on 12/2. This is the 2nd time in a row this has happened. Last time, my wife and her friends had to ask to open some windows (summer time) as their eyes were stinging from the smoke.

I don't think I can go back with due to the poor ventilation. Value wasn't that great either.

The food and the creative menu is excellent and has always offered innovative cuisine. The service impeccable and the location excellent. One complaint I have about this restaurant: Two times I have sat inside I have come home smelling like smoked meat. The kitchen is open and a lot of smoke circulates indoor, leaving my clothing smelling like grease and food.

One of our BEST EVER Italian meals. The service, food and atmosphere was memorable. The Papardelle alla Bolognese was the the best I've had. Wine list somewhat limited, but only twice retail instead of the usual three plus times. Server's suggestions were great.

I will not go back! Liked atmosphere and concept, but no ventilation to remove cooking smoke. Clothes stunk, eyes burned. Couldn't wait to leave restaurant. Great waitress, good food, but don't recommend because of heavy smoke inside. Other reviews stated this on Yelp but figured it couldn't be that bad...it was!

Been to Cantinetta half a dozen times and went again tonight to check out the restaurant week menu tonight. It was amazing. Between the two of us we had the clams and butternut squash soup as starters, saffron risotto with shrimp and gnocchi with squash and browned butter sage sauce, and pumpkin cheesecake and fog panna cotta. This restaurant is a seasonal menu, so you better get there before the menu changes again!! Amazing food tonight!

Local restaurant that is pretty consistent and changes their menu periodically. The menu does not have an endless list of entrees or appetizers but what it does is feature what is fresh and in season so no problem. Food prices are reasonable but like many of the other restaurants around if you want a bottle of wine it will be at a premium.

Poorly ventilated, noisy restaurant with service attitude. A restaurant that's been open for this long should have invested in improvement by now. Food came out cold and had to be sent back. Clothes smell like they were in a kitchen fire. Frankly, there are better options nearby in Bellevue.

The service was a bit confused with respect to seating us as we were moved three times. Second it was quite loud but the most important issue was that there is insufficient ventilation such that all my clothes needed to be washed or dry cleaned afterwards. The food was very good but a bit salty.

first time to Cantinetta. I thought the ambiance is nice and cozy. Service was discreet as they swing by when needs to so they don't interrupt our conversations. We had gnocci and tomato and saffron risotto . Both were very good. the beef carpaccio was ok. Overall I would recommend this place.

Chose Cantinetta from a list of several places and wasn't disappointed. The staff was friendly and patient, giving us time to look over the menu and talk. We asked our server for suggestions that turned out to be helpful. We both chose pasta dishes and were happy with our choices.

They have greeting card size menu. Nothing we saw on yelp is on the menu. No kid menu. Assuming you can read the menu under the candle light. We were told by the waitress: "Good Resturant changes their menu all the time. " Therefore, we didn't know what to order after sitting down.
