Cantinetta - Bellevue
Definitely! The best italian in Bellevue FOR SURE. The good is great, portions are good, ambience is very cute.
We came to the restaurant because it talked about being organic and local sourced. Many of us had food restrictions and the waitress was very supportive. But what came from the kitchen was almost inedible. A side of gluten free pasta for $22 and inedible?? The waitress was overworked and And took forever in getting back to us at different times during the mail. Even the items that I ordered without any request for change we’re really not very tasty. So I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My first time at this location. I met a friend there and we had a great evening. Food was excellent. Love the cozy atmosphere.
Amazing pasta, highly recommend pici and bolognese. Great environment, not too crowded, and unbeatable service
Food was excellent. Very cold draft with every door opening. Need to have a wind screen at the door.
We absolutely loved our date night here. It’s small and quaint, with very good food. We enjoyed the burrata to start, followed by the oxtail gnocchi and short ribs and we were very impressed with the flavors. If you’re looking for a quiet and dim date night, this is the spot.
This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. We’ll definitely return.
Excellent service and food. We had nice cocktails, appetizers, entrees, wine and dessert for a reasonable price. they also paid special attention to my 3 yr old grand daughter by bringing her food right away and me for my birthday by putting a candle in my tiramisu! Excellent experience overall!
Food was amazing, as usual. However, the menu did not mention a very prevalent ingredient in the sweet potato gnocchi dish- walnuts. I understand that it is ultimately the consumers job to ask about ingredients, but the fact that an earlier menu item DID list the buys it contained, made this meal’s inclusion of walnuts misleading. Also, the walnuts are one of three of four components to the sauce, not a barely-used ingredient or a garnish. Including the addition of this very common allergen in the menu item description would be much appreciated, and I’m sure the walnuts added to the overall flavor of the dish so I’m not sure why they were left out.
Will still come again.
Four of us had an 8 pm reservation and when we arrived were told that they were behind on tables becoming available. They sat us at the bar and served us a very nice appetizer plus two glasses of wine while we waited. This was on the house. It did take 45 minutes before we were seated but the entrees we ordered were all very good and aside from the delay we all had a positive experience
Excellent food. Service a bit slow to start and had to prompt to learn more about menu. Packed on a Thursday so speaks well of menu and neighborhood feel
Excellent neighborhood restaurant, friendly service, great food, fresh pasta. Definitely will be back.
I tried this place a few years ago and it was just okay now after two recent trips it has become excellent. Not sure what they changed but it is excellent now. Best in Bellevue.
Delightful food, ambiance, and service!
Even though I indicated on the Open Table reservation that we were celebrating at birthday, there was no mention of it at the restaurant nor a small complimentary dessert offered. So no value added.
Amazing food and Erin the Waitress did a great job.
Pleasant service, we love the cozy environment, wine selection and food.
Thank you for always recognizing and welcoming us, and getting us our special table as requested. On this last visit, multiple staff wished my sweetie "happy birthday," which was a fun surprise for him.
Food was too salty in general for me and my family. We ordered the recommended dishes but they were just ok.
Absolute perfection! We love it here. Celebrated my husband’s birthday and loved everything about the food, service, and experience.
The food was outstanding (sweet potato gnocchi, short ribs, bolognese, brussele sprouts). It was just the right amount and we were able to share. The wine and cocktails are equally good and if you have a sweet tooth, the chocolate donut holes are amazing. I have been here several times and the staff is very friendly. We had Katie wait on us and she was wonderful. If you like Italian food, you will like Cantinetta.
This was our third time at Cantinetta and once again it was a fabulous dining experience! Great food, service, and recommendations from the staff. The Burrata was a great appetizer and the short ribs with polenta we’re amazing! Will be back soon.
Had a wonderful dinner there Friday night with an old friend. The food was delicious - great brussrl sprouts! The staff was amazing! Knew we had a lot of catching up to do and were very generous to let us stay as long as we liked. Will definitely be back!
Food and drink service was not very well timed but the food was delicious.
Love the atmosphere — it’s warm and charming. Staff was great. Had fun exchanges with other guests. Noise level made the place lively yet I easily heard my friend at our table. Entrees focused on pasta, could use more non/pasta entrees.
Great service amazing fresh pasta and fish
Excellent meal. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Will definitely return for a date night!
Second visit and I had forgotten how good it was. The service is caring but not obtrusive; friendly and still professional. The food was presented well and was delicious. We will return.
Food very good, but size of portions extremely small in relation to the cost.
absolutely amazing food! great service, loved the vibe.
It was New Year’s Eve
All good. No wait. Efficient service. Space was a little cold?
The service and food are impeccable. One of my favorite spots in Seattle, hands down!
I went expecting to order octopus but they were out because fish guy didn’t show up. The pepper tagliatelle was overwhelming I’d guess twice the pepper. I like pepper and spice this was over done. My wife loved the short ribs and polenta
Greeted and seated sooner than our reservation. Great service with no pressure.
Unique Italian menu, not a chain restaurant. Special place for casual fine dining.
Not much choices on menu. If you don’t eat red meat, your only choice will be vegetarian pasta.
Small portion food and you have to eat bread to get full.
Good food, good service, good value. Lovely evening and underrated venue in Bellevue.
I have eaten here several time. The food is outstanding ! Tracy
Amazing, as always!
Great food and excellent service.
