This typically is a good restaurant with good service, creative dishes and pleasant atmosphere. However this day, atmosphere in the back area tanked time and again- beginning with cage fighting on the flat screen, and then shouting over the sound system. Our waitress willingly intervened on these issues but our lunch was more occupied with these distractions than enjoying the time we set aside for lunch.

There were 5 of us and we celebrated 2 birthdays on a Saturday evening. We ordered tequila shots all around and the shots were VERY generous. The food was very good. I had the mahi mahi tacos, which were delicious. Neither my husband or myself are huge black bean fans, but their black beans were delicious and we ate every bite of them. For a Saturday evening, they were busy but it was not overly loud.

We usually love this place, but the service was poor on our last visit and the food was mediocre. Our server forgot to bring our water and our queso appetizer. Then he brought the wrong taco. My shrimp/strawberry salad -- usually a bright and crisp entree -- was limp and bland. Really disappointed.

Just a fun evening. Ordered two margaritas. One with salt, one without. Both came with salt. Didn’t order guacamole but the table side guacamole lady came and asked us how we wanted our guacamole. Ordered fish tacos and chicken tacos. Got two orders of chicken tacos. Overall, just poor service. Waiters and waitresses should write down orders instead of trying to memorize. Ultimately, waiter apologized and took care of one of the taco orders proactively rather than reactively which was nice. Usually not like this. Usually great place. Will go back again.

Reservation at 1:15 so the end of the lunch business. Service was fair, not too attentive. All 3 of us ordered the same - soft tacos with chicken, mango, pineapple, avocado. Chicken was dry, hard to find the pineapple. The waiter had to ask if we were finished as it did not look as if we were.

I have eaten here a couple of times before and had a good meal.

Although the food was VERY delicious, the only comment I have is that even though the time we went for lunch there were several open tables, we got seated next to a bus station and door with traffic to outside seating. I wish they could have determined on their own to seat us at a table in a nicer spot.

Very nice place and excellent food, but could be cleaner. The chairs all looked very dirty, they are black and show spots, but even after switching the chair for a better one, guest put their napkins on the chair to sit on. For a nice place this seems unacceptable.

Food was very slow to come. The fish in the fish taco didn’t even taste as good as cardboard. It was dry and hard. The receptionist is pleasant but seems overwhelmed by the task and requires people to wait longer than necessary. The valet is never anywhere to be found to park your car.

Took forever to get seated and it took forever to get order taken. Bacon on shrimp was burnt. Steak quesadilla was cold. Salmon too small and not enough rice. Bowl too big for salmon dish. Silverware was dirty. Not sure which waitress was ours. Had to ask for bill. I felt bad not leaving a tip but none was deserved and I'm a big tipper. This was my first time ever not giving a tip. I won't be back. My co-worker posted her salmon dish on her blog and complained. They did bring another peice with hot green sause on it when she requested it not be added on the first one so she couldn't eat it.

The food was terrible. It just didn’t taste good. Cheese whiz on an Enchilada is not for me. Perhaps others like it. First negative review of my life. Super nice people work there and it’s a nice looking restaurant. Would have forgotten about it but you asked.

Cafe Laredo has been a New Year's Eve dining spot for the past four years because it is close to home and consistently delicious. Reservations are honored and they offer a special menu for the New Year's celebration. Regular menu items are always very good and the service is also excellent.

This place is inconsistent. Some times it’s great. Sometimes it is noticeably poor. Unfortunately, this was one of those times.

The service was disappointingly sub par. Ordered a Shirley Temple for my boy and it never came. I had to go to the bar to get it, and the server didn’t even notice.

My daughter’s tortilla came out undercooked. It was actually doughy. I pointed it out to our server and it took way too long to get new tortillas (in a Mexican Restaurant). By the time they came out, her food was cold and everyone had pretty much finished their dinner.

We were underwhelmed about our very first trip here, but actually gave them a second chance and had been pleased up til now. I had even rented out a room for a celebration/party once and was pleased that time.

Maybe we will give them another shot, but if this had been our first experience, we would likely not come back.

Came here because we had a great experience at the cantina Laredo in Destin, Florida.

The table we were seated at was in a glass corner of the restaurant, quite a distance from the kitchen.
this may explain why everything we got was at, best just, warm; the chips were downright cold.
I think I would have liked the tamales had they been hot!

The guac from the kitchen was nothing special, save your money

The chili lime cucumber margarita was good, spicy kick to it... I would have added a bit of cayenne to the salt rim tho

Waitress was sweet and efficient
Presentation was beautiful

just Didn't feel as authentic as our previous experience, but if you have nothing to compare it to, get a table closer to the action and hopefully you get a 🔥 meal!

Anne get reservations! We got there at 5:15, but wait list was out the door by 6! Open table super easy to use

We had the last reservation available, and from the moment we arrived until we left the customer service was cold and non-existent. We waited 15 minutes once we were sat until our waiter came. In that span we decided to take it upon ourselves to get drinks at the bar thinking it would be quicker. Continued to wait another 10 minutes for 2 drinks from a bartender who acted like we were inconveniencing her. Once back at the table our elusive waiter took our order minutes before the kitchen closed. Our table side guacamole server was sick and made the guacamole way too spicy. Once our entrees arrived, we were finally able to get a new round of drinks. Every one of our dishes was bland and had way too much heat. I really expected more out of such a reputable restaurant. Seemed like every staff member we encountered was annoyed that we were there an hour before close. Unfriendly, unflattering and overall a waste of money and time. What a shame

Food was very good. But it is quite expensive. Also, some of the menu items you have to assemble yourself (like tacos and burritos) versus it being done before being brought to your table. For the price, all of the food should come assembled.

Only problem, although it did gross me out, was our waitress delivered food to next table and she had lots of long thick hair and it was resting on the tray and some of the food. She should tie back and up so that it does not hand down on serving tray when she carries it. We were fortunate that a cook delivered our food. Thank goodness.

Our first experience at this restaurant was wonderful but this one had a bit to be desired. The person who made our guacamole tableside decided it was appropriate to talk about the Supreme Court nomination and another person coming forward about being sexually abused. That was inappropriate! Our order came out wrong and our guest food was cold. The manager tried to rectify the situation by making us a to-go order but then we were actually charged for the inaccurate order which was more expensive than what I actually ordered. Disappointing....
