    Paula waited our table and was super fantastic. The entire service team was on point the entire evening. The chef came out and checked on us and was very sincere. Food was excellent and well prepared. Great experience and we will happily return.

    We love the Cantina at the Ritz and always visit at least once when we are in Key Biscayne. The food is terrific and the service is wonderful. The setting by the ocean is incredible, even on a windy night.

    Gorgeous setting but service is atrocious. Clear lack of training. We live nearby and we never ever see same waitstaff. They’re all untrained and unfamiliar w their menu. Food was overpriced and mediocre. Sad but I probably won’t be back despite amazing location

    We went with another couple for dinner. We had Nachos for appetizer, Three of us ordered Steak Fajitas and one ordered a Tuna Tostada. The food & service was awesome on that breezy summer afternoon. It overlooks the beach, which is a bonus!

    Great location, decent food, dramatically over-priced. Party of 4, drinks (for 3) and dinner shouldn’t cost $350 for avg Mexican food. Waiter (who was very attentive) upsold us on premium tequila w/o mentioning price. Got the bill and the tequila upgrade alone was $75 itself (3 shots). Too mix in an already $18 Margarita?! Great for overpriced drink and view. Stay away for dinner.

    We were in no rush. But a quick meal of tacos and fajitas turned into a two hour affair. Considering how empty the restaurant was it made it even more surprising. Our server never checking in didn’t help. When the food did finally arrive one of the orders was incorrect. Too pricey for such a poor experience.

    Got to enjoy a late night dinner at Cantina. It’s perfectly situated right in front of the ocean with a great selection of options. I love the fish tacos and tuna tostada.

    The location and view from the restaurant is lovely. The service is great, if at times a bit slow. But the food was terrible. We ordered the tuna tostada, and was brought tuna that was definitely not fresh, and completely coated in dressing, a clear attempt to disguise the putrid taste. The waitress was apologetic and embarrassed, and the rest of the evening enjoyable, so I figured I'd give the restaurant another chance the following evening. It was a mistake...both fish dishes we ordered were not fresh, and the other diner in our party received a different dish from what he ordered, with no explanation from our waitress. We weren't in the mood to make a fuss, so we don't know if the restaurant would have fixed the issue if we had told them...but bad fish two nights in a row means I won't be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

    Ambiance is wonderful! Food and service were good. Guacamole and the crispy shrimp appetizer were amazing. The shrimp fajita was average and somewhat tasteless but generous portion. The expensive drinks and water were served in plastic for the prices so a bit disappointing. I assume because of its proximity to the pool and beach areas. We will return for the ambiance.

    Where do I begin... This is DEFINITELY NOT up to Ritz Carlton Standards !!! We were a party of 8 . We sat down and were greeted by the server . Once we placed our order - the waitress was no where to be found . We have dined at this restaurant previously for my husbands birthday and had a wonderful experience - Thus the reason I choose to book once again for my mothers birthday . I realize this is the Ritz and do NOT object to what may seem like " expensive " dinner items . HOWEVER , if you plan to charge 20$ for Guacamole - Give me more than 10 bites . I wish I had taken a picture - the portion was SOOOO small ridiculous !!! . We literally had to grab whom ever was walking around in order to get things we needed . Seriously the server never returned once the food was placed on the table . We were never asked is everything ok ? Do you like your meal ? Can I get you anything else ? We sat in front of dirty dishes no joke for at least 20 - 30 min . before I asked for the table to be cleared and a piece of cake with a candle to be served and the bill to be provided . LITERALLY NO JOKE - the table was cleared , and we were given a brownie with vanilla ice cream ( excellent I might add - one thing I would recommend ) were placed on the table with no joke a liter -- I was expected to light the candle myself. We were staying on the club floor ( 4 rooms ) the staff there did an amazing job -- 3 pieces of cake singing with three staff members -very festive. My last comment is don't eat here in the summer !!! the mosquitos will eat you alive !!!

    Very disappointing. The sangria was horrible but the fajitas were good. So service and the server kept forgetting requests that we made. We were looking forward to a delightful evening sitting outside with a picture of Sangria.

    Great location. The view is soothing as it’s just the open ocean. Nice breeze coming in off of the water which made it very comfortable. The food was ok. Nothing crazy and the choices were very limited. Portions are also small which for the price I would expect a little bit more. The amount paid did not justify the view or food. Way too expensive for the quality. Margaritas were good. Had the spicy cucumber one. $18 wasn’t bad for it but I feel like for that price they could use better tequila. Wine list was ridiculously over priced. $600 for a bottle of wine that costs about $70 in a store is an insult. Even with todays prices. Would I go back? Absolutely not. Way better views at other restaurants and much better food for even half the price we paid yesterday. But if you’re staying at the Ritz and want a little quick bit I’m sure the price won’t be a factor. Just won’t get food that’s worth bragging about.

    We have always loved Cantina--and have visited the restaurant to celebrate and enjoy Mexican Food for years. Unfortunately, the food, service and beverages are not up to the past standard and definitely do not merit a location at a Ritz Carlton. The quality of the food was horrible, in spite of the high prices. "Steak Fajitas" were actually a bowl of Philly-cheesesteak type meat and a couple of tortillas. Very disappointing. The view remains spectacular, but we will not be back to cantina to eat.

    Food - I’d rate this higher than others. I had the branding and it was very good. My wife is vegan and they were very accommodating. She raved about the veggie fajitas. Guac was also very good and the drinks were well done. Service - struggled. They felt understaffed. Our waiter, Rams, did what he could to stay on top of our table, but everything came out slowly and our second round of drinks came at the end of the meal. He seemed very rushed from the start. Ambience - we sat outside, lots of families out there, which didn’t bother us. The view of the ocean was blocked by some foliage. So overall, it was just ok.

    We have been at the Restaurant already several times in the past. However, I have to say that the food used to be much better as it is now. Guacamole was not done on the table as it used to be in the past. Same is with food which was served cold. Drinks and Service are very good, same with Location and atmosphere. Maybe there was a change in the kitchen and the team is not back at 100%, I am sure you will get there again

    FYI, NO dress code enforced; dinner in swimwear and beach sandals allowed. Valet parking was unnecessarily arrogant, while the service at the bar and at the Mexican Cantina was friendly while very professional .

    As a guest of the hotel we were underwhelmed. We sat down and immediately ordered drinks - which eventually showed up as we were finishing dinner. It took 20 minutes to get a basket of chips. Didn’t look understaffed. Didn’t receive an apology. Meat for meals was mediocre.
