Wonderful food, and Chris was AMAZING!
I love this restaurant so much. The outdoor patio is spectacular and the food is amazing.
I only wish they had more vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Last time I went (a few years ago) there were options but now I have to order off menu, which can be off putting for the kitchen staff.
The service was great - Steve was wonderful.
Canoe is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Such amazing food everytime and the location and ambiance is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and know their food in and out.
Decided to take my wife to lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance is nice and the staff but the food was very disappointing. I ordered the salmon and it was so salty that I could not eat it. It was sent back. The second order of salmon was over cooked and dry. My wife ordered the crab cakes the first time. It was mostly breading so she sent it back and ordered a burger. It was ok, nothing to make note of. In summary I had to find another restaurant to take my wife to for our anniversary! She was not happy.
Been ordering their crab cake for over 15 years, but must take it off my preference list: it's just diminished in size so much that I came home hungry. Other choice are usually enough to bring some home, so I'll keep visiting my favorite place in ATL: Canoe.
We had a business lunch of 8 persons. The waitress was very nice, but did not ask anyone for a beverage order and we had to bring it up after 20 minutes. The food order went in and we were there for an hour and a half before lunch arrived. We had to get up and ask and they said 5 minutes it was another 15. The food arrived and we have 3 minutes to eat and run out the door back to the airport. It was so disappointing and the food was fried and sad looking. Will be a long long time before I got back and never for business.
Place is lovely and food is tasty!
Scones have lost their touch.
Still beautiful views
Wonderful brunch celebration at Canoe! The staff made sure we had a special time. Food was tasty. There isn’t a prettier setting in all of Atlanta.
Canoe is one of my favorite restaurants. I will be back soon.
one of our most favorable restaurants. start with a cocktail at the garden bar - a must.
Vanessa was our server and she was outstanding!!!! She was knowledgeable about the food and drinks. She took charge from the beginning and wasn’t overwhelming. She explained how the evening would go and delivered on everything she said. The busboy (man lol) kept our water full and always asked if we needed anything. He was very kind and personable. This is our favorite place for date night.
Beautiful setting for a birthday celebration
Delicious lunch on the patio overlooking the river. Fabulous service and attention!
The view and scenery outside was breathe taking. The food and server was amazing. From app to dessert it was amazing. The exotic menu is very tempting to want to try everything. Just a nice place and hidden gem.
An amazing experience with great food and service like always
Really unfortunate experience at canoe. The slowest meal and service we have ever had theee. 30 minutes to get our drinks, 45 to take our order. Then they “staged “ our appetizers one at a time. Then 30 minutes for entrees. Had to run out of there for meetings so can’t speak to dessert. We took someone there for the first time and it was embarrassing.
Good food, friendly service. Very nice teamwork between server and support personnel
We wish there more than five stars for reviews because that's how wonderful Canoe is. For us, we've had no other dining experience as outstanding as what we always have at Canoe. The food, waitstaff, and ambience are beyond excellent. When we leave, we can't wait to find a reason to go back!!
We had the best night celebrating our 5th anniversary at Canoe. Excellent service—it felt like our waiter was our instant friend and was attentive and charming, and the food was wonderful. Thank you all so very much.
Only negative was that the server forgot to bring our appetizer after saying we “had” to try it.
This was a return visit and for my granddaughters 8th birthday. We shared a collection of appetizers ala tapas style and then went for the entrees and dessert. All of the food was fabulous, a flavor experience that woke up a LOT of lazy taste buds for me. The service was outstanding and the entire team made sure to wish my granddaughter Happy Birthday and worked so well to make her evening very special.
Service was great, but the food wasn't nearly as good as I remember from the last time I was there (about a year ago).
Great lunch with a good friend!
Food and service were great! But, lots of gnats flying around our table and we were seated inside.
The experience at the restaurant was very good as well as the food. Cocktails were ok. I did find some of the hostess stand people difficult (calling ahead of time) while others were quite nice (in person) but the two that were not pleasant were almost enough to go elsewhere. Maybe they are short staffed and stressed
Ended a girls’ weekend at Canoe for Sunday brunch. Sat on the porch outside with views of the garden. Our server noticed my bacon wasn’t “extra crispy” as requested, and he brought me an extra 3 slices that were extra crispy without my having to ask. Somewhat pricey, but worth it! Would definitely go again!
Great ambiance, service and food
Nick was a wonderful server and would request when I come back.
Beautiful space, gardens, and setting - good food - interesting menu that changes seasonally. Salmon appetizer and rabbit entree were delicious!
Beautiful landscape, great food and great service!
Bartender, Shawn, was the bomb. Very knowledgeable and gave us the lowdown on the menu. Our server, Alexandra, was efficient and delightful. The cuisine was scrumptious. Beet and goat cheese salad, smoked salmon, snapper and duck were outstanding. An overall lovely evening. Would highly recommend.
I have been to Canoe many times over the years. Very disappointing. This used to be one of the best restaurants in N Fulton. Food is passable but service, attitude of the staff, and the cleanliness of the restaurant were severely lacking. I will not return.
A great lunch spot. Always a treat! Love the food and service is impeccable!
Dining at Canoe takes you away from the hectic, busy, rushed work day to a gorgeous, riverside, flower filled garden and outdoor bar. Inside, Canoe boasts perfectly set tables with a professional , well prepared staff - and a menu that shares the choices, tastes and flavors that match the ambience created throughout.
Unique and 100% fulfilling!
One of my favorite places for a girls lunch. Food is always good and the service is perfect. I brought a girlfriend who had not been to Canoe and she will definitely be back.
Weekday lunch, friendly efficient service, pleasant outdoor seating, food just okay, does not justify price but overall dining experience fine.
Remains at the top of my list of Atlanta restaurants. Interesting menu, great service, and great execution.
We love Canoe and will go back but the level of service tonight was not up to par with Canoe’s reputation.
We had an excellent dinner at Canoe. Highlights of dinner were the Peppercorn Crusted Kangaroo appetizer and the Popcorn Ice Cream Sundae dessert. The background of the Chattahoochee and the flowers were a bonus.
My server Marinda was the best ever. I would come back just to see her. The food was very good and the restaurant was very nice.
