They have plenty of outdoor seating set up for covid friendly dinning. Food is delicious and service is always outstanding. Highly recommend.
My party and I had a great time. My server and service was amazing!!
Asked for, and would have preferred outside dining, but inside was comfortable and felt safe. Salmon was delicious, and wine was, too. Server was perfect — think name was Gianni?
I have seen Canoe online for a while, and finally decided to take a date there. The staff, the ambiance, the food, the date. Everything was amazing.
Definitely try the Kangaroo and you have to order the rabbit for dinner. I got the trout which was delicious, my husband got the Rabbit and I had menu envy so he shared with me. :)
Our waiter gave great advice over the menu and the staff that gave our 4 year old her meal brought her an oyster fork which she thought was so cool since it was “her size”. Wonderful all around.
Ran into this place online, I tend to have low expectations but this place really set the bar. The French toast on their brunch menu is truly a staple! The waitress Patricia truly made the experience a one of a kind. One thing though, the bartender needs to learn how to make an authentic old fashioned. Everything else was simply amazing.
My guest and I were very hesitant to go to a restaurant during the COVID-19 outbreak since we are both in our seventies. We went for Sunday Brunch and were delighted to be seated outside in a wedding tent with a brick floor.
The weather was perfect and there was a gentle breeze. The tables were spaced far apart, so neither noise or virus was a problem.
The food and experience were great as always, but the safety factor was the most important.
For the first time in quite some time, I was disappointed with the service and the food. Server couldn't describe some of the menu items, described them wrong (as we ordered one), and just wasn't up to the same service we've come to love from Canoe. Same with the food, was just average this time. Duck burgers were ordered medium, came out rare, eggs were overcooked, etc. Hopefully just an off day.
Amazing experience! Wonderful food and service and stunning views of the river!
Check in maitre d is about as warm as an icicle in Alaska in January. Wait staff was nice. Tables were still a bit close. Staff was wearing masks. Food was good. Wedding party in the field had some people who had a little too much to drink and stumbling around. One slipped in the mud and whole tux was ruined. They took a toll on the bathroom which was a mess due to the event. May go back post covid.
AMAZING Everything was perfect!
Absolutely wonderful experience. Food was outstanding, ambiance was accumulate, the view was beautiful. Service was a little slow in the beginning, we were there for 3 hours total, and a table that was seated 20 minutes after us had gotten through their whole meal before ewe even got our entree but that’s okay, because it was such a great place.
My husband and I always make this restaurant a priority when we come to Atlanta. The atmosphere and service of this place is unparalleled. This visit, we took an outside table, expecting to be seated in the covered patio. Unfortunately, we were seated under an event tent that was significantly less romantic than the inside and under the patio outside. However, the food and service was still incredible, and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Canoe is a great experience from the pre-meal cocktails to the desserts!
The salmon appetizer is awesome! Also the oysters and service are worth the cost.
Canoe always delivers on great food and pleasant ambiance, especially for business lunches.
Always a pleasure to go and have a celebration lunch! Awesome venue!
What a fabulous way to celebrate my birthday! Amazing table out on the patio, nice service, and delicious food!
As expected - great
Could not have been any better!!
This was our first time and it was very good overall . I will say that our waiter was nice but was a little slow and had to ask her to order and for another drink. As someone who goes to many fine dining in Atlanta that stuck out to me.
Excellent meal and most excellent service. We were celebrating a special occasion and the evening could not have been more perfect!
The food was amazing. Mathew was our server. I don’t know his last name. He was very kind and he gave us the most amazing service. I would like to really thank him. I enjoyed everything moment with my boyfriend because it was his birthday. The dessert was perfect. Over all this place is wonderful and you should check it out.
Comfortable relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and excellent food and drinks. Will definetly return.
Great relaxing lunch.
Food is always fresh and top notch.
We frequent Canoe maybe 2-3 times a month. The visit today was just okay. Wasn’t bad and wasn’t great!
The service was excellent, food is great and the ambiance is very pleasant.
We visited for the first time for our 6 year anniversary. Excellent service from beginning to end. Food was fantastic. It was a great night and we will definitely be back!
The server Tim started off good, however, I left the table to go to the ladies room and instead of him waiting for everyone to be at the table for the checks, he proceeded to ask the individuals at the table how the checks were being split, that ended up causing me to pay for someone else's meal and drinks when I only intended to pay for the food. This is not good service pratices because everyone should have been present when asking how the bill was going to be split. The food came out super cold also. Not sure if I'd come back and invite 6 other people as it was a party of 7 for us. This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and will more than likely be my last.
I love this restaurant but was disappointed with the quality of the bread and French toast. They felt old. I hope this was an isolated incident
Was a very great experience! Deborah made this special occasion then best one yet!
Canoe is always a good option, even on a very rainy evening!
Besides the tornado warning and rain, we were happy with our service, view and food.
All around it was very good. The only problem was we could barely hear our server with the mask on.
Canoe has a solid reputation but our meal was disappointing. The waiter was nice but seemed inexperienced. He brought me the wine taste I asked for but then left and did not take my wine order. My daughter's rabbit was fine. Not spectacular, but fine. My fish was bad. The beet risotto with it was quite tasty but the oven roasted halibut was pale and lukewarm, unseasoned and really not good. I did not eat it and the waiter did not ask why. We had a composed dessert that was not bad, but none of the elements worked together. Like they stacked 3 tasty things on the plate but the 3 elements did not pull together to make anything special. This meal was not inexpensive and there is much better food available in Atlanta for that kind of money. I will not go back.
Canoe is the first and only restaurant we've eaten in (though on the patio) during the COVID era. We love it, missed it, and felt welcomed and safe. The food never disappoints and there were many new dishes on the menu. Our server, John, was professional and fun at once.
This was the best service ever. I’ll definitely come back
Best meal I’ve had in years. Celebrating our 20th Anniversary with Canoe was perfect. Food was unique and well prepared and full of flavor. Service was exceptional. Had been wanting to dine there for years and had never gotten around to it.
20th anniversary dinner was fantastic due to the atmosphere, staff, and food!!!
They treated us well and made our anniversary very special! Highly recommend this place for any occasion.
