Very quiet and wonderful place to go with a loved one. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to any need we had. Would recommend this to anyone.

Overall a very underwhelming experience- however The host team was very accommodating and professional. For the price you pay everything should be perfect. Service team was lacking confidence/knowledge about menu items and the wine pairings were unsatisfactory. Food in general was lacking in seasoning and flavour. The quality of ingredients could have been better as well ie. Bison was very chewy... value just did not meet expectations.

It was a memorable experience dining at Canoe with this special tasting menu, all aspect of the meals reflect on the price and consider reasonable. We love being seated next to the window as we can enjoy the city skyline while dining. Overall we recommend Canoe to all other friends who want to enjoy a meal with a view!

Great Toronto spot for a meal or drinks at the bar!

Considering this restaurant is supposed to be one of the top restaurants in Toronto, my partner and I had high expectations. The service was awful, we were ignored by our server and there was no attempt to tell us about the menu, the restaurant or any recommendations. The staff were cold and not very welcoming. Decided not to even bother ordering food- we paid for our drinks and went somewhere else. For these prices, I expected a better experience. Tough to say if we’ll ever bother returning.

Great meal, but parking that was supposed to be complimentary was closed / pylon'd off the day we went (Tues night). Don't know why they advertise free parking when it's not

Sadly although freshly renovated (really the kitchen) the menu is old, old, old and no longer inspired. Big miss on the reopening. Should be a better wine list.

Lunch at Canoe was fantastic. The food was delicious and well presented, and the service was meticulous but unobtrusive. This was a business lunch, but will be back soon for dinner!

The newly redecorated Canoe has lost a step. It’s still the most gorgeous spot to dine up high above downtown Toronto. The service excels. But the food, once world class and still among the best has lost the creative edge. Ambiance and standard upscale at expense account prices

Amazing! What an experience. Well worth the visit. We started with the Bacon sammies while at the bar. They were perfect. Started with the onion soup was really good. I had the lamb 5 ways. Unreal! My wife had the Turbot. She loved it. Go treat yourself!

Canoe is the best business lunch in Downtown Toronto.

Brilliant tasting menu, with outstanding service and the table visit from the Chef was so personal and a highlight.

I live 500 km north of Toronto and have been wanting to go to Canoe for many many years but somehow it just never worked out. However, recently, I made it happen! Our evening at Canoe fulfilled all of my expectations. The food and service was exceptional. The ambiance is so relaxing and the views are spectacular! It was an experience which I will never forget. I hope to be back very soon. Thank you so much.

My experience was amazing! The only thing was that I was disappointed was that their was no view due to the fog. But overall the experience and food was amazing!

It's a good experience in general. The wheater was bad so we did see any views from the window. the appetizer was elite and fast, but you have to wait for a long time for the main course for those people who have to go a rush lunch is not recommended.parking is also difficult to find during lunch hour.

The newly renovated Canoe is better than ever. From their polished service to the impeccable tasting menu, the experience was flawless. The space looks amazing and you can’t beat the best dining view in the city.

Favourite restaurant in Toronto. 25th Anniversary tasting menu was outstanding. As always Jane, Bill and Sarah took wonderful care of us. Will be back soon.

Had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the lake view and subdued soothing surroundings in restaurant itself, but wish the food fare tasted better.

Sad comment:
The foie gras appetizer was overly sour in flavour and presence that it dominated the dish - could not taste the foie gras mousse itself.

Nice place, but terrible staff. We spent New Year’s Eve here, a special occasion made a lot less special by the unfriendly staff. The food was good (a special New Year’s menu), and so were the wines, but the ambiance was cold and distant. They make you feel like you should be very grateful to be allowed to eat there.... The restaurant is definitely not cheap, so we expected to spend a nice evening there, but left with a bad taste in our mouth. Such a shame! Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had our best meal ever at Canoe on New Year's Eve, which has become a tradition for us now. Service was excellent without being stuffy, ambience was relaxed and happy, the kitchen looked cheerful and the view was spectacular. Our drinks were exceptional and the meal was exquisite. Wonderful variety and choice, and each selection was prefect.

Me and my family have been to the restaurant for many times in the last five years. We celebrated our New Year’s Eve there in 2017, last year and this year. In 2017, the food and service were fantastic which made us keep coming back. Unfortunately, the good tradition wasn’t consistently performing. Last year, the whole experience was a little disappointing, but we wanted to give it another try this year, however, it turned out to be even worse. The waiter was rude and arrogant. He kept saying it’s the customers’ fault that they no longer serve complimenting champagne and oyster up on front. He was not attentive through the whole dinner at all. The manager didn’t take feedbacks sincerely. She even interrupted me several times when I was speaking with her. It’s pretty sad that the only admiring party of the dinner there was the view through your their 54th level windows.

Food was too salty. Waitor was impatient when he took our orders and the waitresses served wrong dishes to us for two rounds. Not the kind of service to expect from a high-end restaurant...

Awful food and very expensive for a low quality ! Never again !

Food was over salted, but other than that it was a good experience.
