Beautiful outside dining area, ambience was perfect- the food was amazing - we had the wild King Salmon & a trio of Lamb. The main courses were outstanding - very well prepared and delicious. We also had the tomato soup which was good but not hot enough - that is my only complaint- service was a bit slow but given the current circumstances, we understand - we will comeback here again. A great little gem.

We always have delicious meals at Canneti's, especially when we can eat outdoors in the lovely back patio. An Italian gem in Forestville -- definitely worth a detour!

Very quaint. We recently discovered this hidden gem that's off the beaten path. We love the backyard (which is the main area now with Covid) Food is excellent. Great place to take a date!

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our meal. The gnocchi was way to salty as were the cannelloni beans. The tuna tasted old and was over-cooked. We think the tuna may have made me sick as I have been in the toilet all night. Will not be going back. Very disappointed.

Great spot in Forestville for authentic Italian. We dined on the patio which is nestled in between trees with an outdoor bar and nice ambiance. All pasta dishes were homemade and we enjoyed them all. The glass of champagne from the chef was a very nice touch. FYI corkage is $25. We will be back!

I very much like Canneti's. The people are friendly, their garden space is inviting and comfortable. The food is always excellent.

To improve they need their wine to be stored correctly. We had a $140 bottle of Kistler Pinot that was served warm. Had to ask for an ice bucket on a temperate day.

We had a wonderful lunch at this special restaurant. The chef came out to bring us wine and explain the Tuscan origin of the food. You can’t get any closer to experiencing Tuscany without traveling thousands of miles away.
Everything we had was delicious including the wine and dessert.
The outdoor seating under the shade of the trees in a garden setting made for a very pleasant afternoon.
Can’t wait to return to this restaurant.

We enjoyed our first outing since SIP at this authentic Tuscan Trattoria. We missed the lunch menu and chose from the dinner menu. Entrees were pretty hearty for a hot day, but we enjoyed all of our meals immensely. Great flavors and freshness. Had the pork shoulder and beans starter, which was excellent. Fried tomatoes and fava pesto mayonnaise were delicious, but very rich. My husband loved his pork chop. Both pastas were fresh and full of flavor. Tiramisu was delicious.

Our first meal out since quarantine, it was perfect! My husband and I really enjoyed our meal we ordered the roasted hen, creamed Brussel sprouts and rosemary sweet potatoes! Everything was delicious! It was a beautiful Sonoma county day and the patio seating was perfect. We really enjoyed our meal with a bottle of Chardonnay we bought at DeLoach Vineyards it was peaceful, the setting was conducive to enjoying each other’s company and a fantastic meal!

My server served me food that I was allergic to even though I told her I could not eat any dairy. I told her twice! She did not describe any of the items on the antipasti plate I ordered nor caution me from any items. When I called her over to the table asking about what an item was (after I had eaten a bite) she told me the ravioli contained ricotta....and mumbled sorry... completely unacceptable. This place does not take food allergies seriously. You have been warned.

I am very disappointed for being charged an additional $7.00 ($3.50 per person) fee for booking this reservation using OpenTable. Is this now acceptable under your policies? I would have never found this place without OpenTable but I won’t be using your App in the future if you allow restaurants to charge additional fees.

The waitress was delightful, but the service from the kitchen was slow especially between the appetizer and main course.

The food itself was delicious with unique Italian dishes you won’t find at any other Italian restaurant and the Panna Cotta desert with farro at the bottom was incredible.

Dear guest Canneti Roadhouse usually does not charge any Opentable fee. However, you made a lunch reservation through Opentable for Sonoma Restaurant Week event. Opentable charges businesses with several fees. We kindly posted everywhere that Opentable lunch reservations would be charged a fee for this specific event. Price for the event lunch was 15 dollars and we are positive you understand Canneti could not pay 3.5 dollars in Opentable fees.

Food was great and service followed suit. They were a bit hesitant about firing up the fireplace and we could a drift of cold air coming from somewhere. But in the end we had a great time and the food was really something. Don't skip the dessert ;)

You should definitely eat at Canneti if you haven't. I have had two of my favorite dishes of all time here, but I've also had dishes that I wouldn't want to eat again. So it's a little hit and miss but still worth it. Expensive wine list and expensive corkage. Three of us had dinner with 3 appetizers, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine for $200 not including tip. We go at least once a year and will return.

I had dined at Canetti's in 2016 shortly after it opened and loved my experience. This experience was the polar opposite. In 2016 the dishes were beautifully and simply presented. The flavors were subtle and tasteful.

This dining experience was the other side of the coin. The venue was fine, but the door near us had to be left open, or the aroma of fried food filled the air and was quite unpleasant. The night air made the room unpleasantly chilly, but that was better than the smell of the frier. I would have thought that they would have an adequate hood in the cooking area.

Our waitress was delightful. She tried to make us feel comfortable, but was unfortunately very inexperienced and not at all knowledgable regarding the menu. This suggests a problem, more with management and lack of proper training than with the staff, as she was delightful and tried to be as helpful as possible.

Our salad course was excellent, but it was downhill from there. The pasta with pesto was unnecessarily heavy. The pasta with mushroom meatballs was a disaster. The meatballs were deep-fried and burnt, appearing more like croquettes. There was no mushroom flavor at all. It tasted like fried, flavorless mush. The waitress returned to ask how we liked our meals. I told her that I couldn't eat mine, as I thought it was terrible. I hadn't eaten more than half a fried meatball. She asked, if I would like something in exchange, but returned to tell me the chef said that that would not be possible. That I would have to pay for the dish whether or not I liked it. He came to the table and was extremely rude. Telling me, in front of other diners, that the fault was mine, as I had asked for no additional salt and wanted the pancetta on the side. See photo. I was amazed. I had never been treated so rudely in a restaurant in my life. The server had to apologize to us for his inappropriate behavior.

In summary, I will not return. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I don't know what hap
