The four-diamond Cannery Restaurant of today is reminiscent of its former life as a canning factory in the 1800s, where Niagara peaches and tomatoes were canned until 1957.                                                                                                       The Hostess was a little rude to us upon arrival we where 5 minutes early she told us to have a seat in the lobby as the restaurant isn’t open till 5pm as soon as we sat down she told us we could enter. We had a meal plan that is transferable between other restaurants and hotels in the chain. She said this was highly unusual and unlikely as she had never seen this before, already a bad situation since this was booked 3 months ago. We have dined at this restaurant probably for 20 years. Ps the food and the server made all the difference.

                                                                                                      Sunday brunch: great choice for both those seeking breakfast and lunch with an omelette station, baked goods, bacon, sausage, along with carving station, pasta, hearty salads, and desserts to die for. The atmosphere is delightful, and the service is great. The price was a tad high, but there are a lot of food options to choose from. It wasn't worth the $ for my 2 picky teens, but that's on us. Overall, it's such a lovely meal out in Niagara-On-the-Lake and would definitely return.

We ate there for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Our server, Jenny even asked if we would like a coffee or tea for our drive. What a great restaurant!

                                                                                                      All of the staff were very friendly. Our waiter Derek was great. The food was delicious. We did the wine pairing for our meal and it was great. A great overall experience.

                                                                                                      We had a wonderful time at the Cannery. The beautiful old building, exposed brick, fun micromist pseudoflames added to the welcoming ambiance and festive flair of the dining room. We were in town to celebrate our anniversary, and the attentive waitstaff and beautifully presented dishes were a delightful indulgence for us. Last evening was enjoyable and we felt spoiled by the delicious food. The prime rib was delicious, the salmon divine, desserts were luxurious. Thank you, Cannery! We’ll be back for sure!
