Stated with the wood grilled cauliflower...th n the salad with beets and goat cheese. Then the wild boar bolagnese and finished with the skirt steak. Every bite was more delish than the last

Always delicious! Service is very nice and prompt. During the busy holiday days, make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. It’s very popular because it’s right in The Village Mammoth and very popular with families and couples.

A very nice family dinner - my kids got pasta, I got warm chopped salad, and hubby had bee sting pizza. It was all good. Our server, Linsey, was very nice and everything was good.

We came for our anniversary with our daughter. It was a busy night since it was also New Years Eve so thankfully we made a reservation. We ordered a margherita pizza with salami for our daughter (it arrived burnt charcoal and was sent back. The manager comped it). We ordered the calamari fritti which was just a lump of fried everything. Barely any calamari, mostly just fried dough, some fried lemon and some other items that were fried but because it was so dried out you couldn't tell the difference in what you were eating. My husband ordered the tagliatelle with boar ragu. This sounded amazing, but the taste wasn't there. It was salty, oily and just didn't have much more flavor than that combo. He couldn't even finish his plate. My prosciutto pizza was just okay, a little too much arugula and dressing on it. The best part of the dinner was the dessert, which was caramel creme with oreo crumbles in a mason jar. That was delicious. But for being a special night for us in two ways, it was extremely disappointing. Our server was excellent. We spent over $150 here for food that didn't satisfy us at all. I don't think we will be back.

Initially 2 issues - sat for twenty minutes with no service & when ordered arrived we got 3 x burnt pizzas. But this was swiftly rectified and exchanged for new pizzas and taken off the bill. No issues - 2nd lot of pizzas were lovely - service was great. Just 2 small glitches on a busy night that were sorted quickly.

Great food and service. With dishes ranging from exotic to basic, there is something for everyone - adults and kids alike. The atmosphere is appropriate for special occasions, casual dining and everything in between. Portion sizes are just right & not too big. Wait staff was very helpful with wine selection.
Beware that sometimes during the holidays, they have a special limited menu. And I would not even try to get in at dinner time without a reservation.

We originally had two reservations for 5 people each, including kids, and despite it being incredibly crowded with holiday diners, the manager went out of his way to accommodate us and get us two tables next to each other. Very much appreciated.

It was ok. Waitress said they didn’t have any black pepper for our salad and pasta. Weird. Seems like they should. She said she had seen a pepper grinder before but just couldn’t find it… I said so there’s only one for your entire restaurant? She said yes only one and can’t find it. Also didn’t have any straws. We have a special needs child and can’t pick up his glasses so restaurant is necessary. We have never been to a restaurant that does not have a straw. Even with the ban on straws and the litter concern… We are always given a choice of a straw or not.

Food was ok. Average at best.

It's been a few years since we've eaten at Campo. The atmosphere and location are still great. And we had a new server (Marissa), who was lovely. The food though , was just not good....at all. We ordered a prosciutto pizza, that was cold when we got it. The cheese was like rubber. We also ordered the simple salad, that was so fresh that it had dirt in it; crunching in our teeth as we ate it. We won't be back.

I came here because it has a really good review. The food here is average. Our waiter was great, very personable and attentive. One of our dinners was undercook, by the time that they fixed it everyone at the table has finished their food. That was a little disappointing. I would give it a better rating if that was not the problem. Overall, I would give this restaurant a second chance the next time we are in town.

We loved the Grande charcuterie board! So many different delicious and unique items on the board with an excellent selection and quantity of cheeses and meats. Great starter for our ravenous party of 4. Cocktails and wine were also excellent, as were our entrees. Our server was friendly and prompt, and the location in the village is nice, but parking can be a challenge.

I always love Campo. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Mammoth. I love their Negronis. And their pizzas are delicious. I love the crust.

The night we dined at Campo, I guess one of their servers called out. It appeared that only one server was on duty with the manager pitching in to help. As a result, we waited a long time to be greeted by him. The food was mediocre at best. One of my chicken breast pieces was burned and picata sauce was nothing like what I've had at any other Italian restaurant. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere

I have eaten at Campo in Reno and Mammoth. The pasta was dry and barely warm. We had 3 types and none was up to your usual standard. Shoulder season??? It was also my 70th birthday, so for a special occasion, disappointing. We had a baby with us so no tome for dessert.

Requested marinanra ,10 min later the waiter came back saying it would be $2 extra, then never brought the marinara. Then another waiter was asked to move the caonpy so the sun would be out of eyes, he slammed it down saying this is the best it's going to get, rudely

I go to campo several times a year, usually during ski season. Unlike most Mammoth restaurants, it’s usually reliably decent, albeit a tad expensive for what it is. This time the food was okay, but the service was very slow. The host wasn’t very friendly and told us we couldn’t have a table in the quiet area (we were outside with the dogs and wanted them out of the sound path of the concert in the village) because it was being used...it never was. Took them about 30 minutes to bring the water to the table...we probably would have waited just as long for our drinks had I not brought my own bottle of wine. Just generally disappointed this time.

While we have always enjoyed Campo, this last visit was terribly disappointing. My husband's meatballs were barely edible, my caprese pizza was more like an excuse for a pizza: not enough cheese, only two slices of tomatoes for an 8 slice pizza and some shredded basil on top. That being said, the kids loved their beesting pizzas. the server was the most delightful part of our visit; Danila was friendly, helpful and caring. We will try Campo another time to see if this was a one-off experience, but it certainly felt like it had fallen far away from its previously high standards.

My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised with our visit to Campo. Our cauliflower appetizer was so yummy. I don't believe I've had cauliflower that I have enjoyed more! We followed that with the beet salad that also was very good and also very pleasing to the eye. We both enjoyed a pasta dish for our main course. I had the meatballs with a gluten free noodle which was the best gluten free noodle I've had. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to Campo and believe it to be one of the best restaurants in Mammoth!

Disappointing. First, had a reservation at 7pm. Restaurant was about 3/4 full, so the hostess told us to wait. So we waited about 5 minutes (not bad) then she said "we only have a high top table". We took it although with a reservation we thought we might get a little more leeway. Whatever we got sat and proceeded to wait ten minutes before being greeted. They did not appear to be understaffed but whatever, maybe they operate on "Mammoth" time. Finally we were greeted with "Ok, you all ready to order?". No offer of appetizer, drink order, special just let's get this done. So we ordered (three adults and two kids). While waited for food, we noticed some had bread and some didn't. We grabbed someone passing by and said, "Can we get some bread?". We did get bread but had to ask seperately (a busboy) for parmesan. Food came out, I had the Chicken Piccata ($34.99). For that price, it was truly underwhelming. Wife had garlic shrimp pasta which was decent but not for $25.99. Kids had pasta bolenase (meat sauce) for $16.99. Kids complained it was not great due to the noodles being undercooked. Probably the most bothersome part of the visit is the staff seemed uninterested in service. Too bad, with the best spot in the village. Probably relying on their winter crowds I suspect. Wont be back. Gomez across the walkway, 1,000 times better, better priced, and the people serving you are super friendly.

Everything was great except our chicken piccata. Pizza was amazing. Salad was amazing and then the chicken piccata came out and was stunned. It was an oily over cooked small portion of bone dry chicken. But we waited for 1 hour for it so we just ate it anyways because we were so starving. And for 34 dollars. Shocker the kitchen would send that out. I should have taken a photo.

Great atmosphere and food, but the restaurant lost our reservation so they ended up sticking us in the back corner behind a giant pillar where were blocked from most of the dining room. Lost reservations happen and it's understandable, however it felt like we were being punished because of Campo's mistake. We ended up waiting about 15 mins before any staff member even acknowledged us, and over the course of the next hour the waitress stopped by our table only twice. Campo is a really cool place, but it was very disappointing to essentially be discarded and ignored for something we had nothing to do with.

Campo was the perfect mix of comfort food and modern trends. The tagliatelle with wild boar was complex and delicious, the kale salad with duck egg was fresh and lemony, and the prosciutto pizza was perfectly cooked. The only change I would make is to substitute bologna on the Grande Tasting board for something less fatty -- the aged cheeses and briny vegetables were perfect together. I will come back every time I'm in Mammoth!

There aren't a lot of dining options in Mammoth so I understood that this was not going to be a great meal, but the reason it was so poor was the food. For myself, I ordered the bucatini and it was pretty bad. The only flavor it had was overwhelming garlic. I like garlic, but truly there was no other flavor, no nuance whatsoever. The pasta itself was gummy which maybe could have been overlooked if the taste wasn't so poor. I also tasted a friend's cauliflower appetizer and again, the overwhelming flavor was garlic. The atmosphere was pretty decent and the staff were all nice and friendly, so no complaints there. But I have to wonder, does the chef actually ever taste the food?
