Housed in Historic Naples Mercantile Building, Campiello offers inventive Italian cuisine inspired by a traditional Tuscan country cooking, with an open kitchen and many wood-roasted and rotisserie-grilled specialties. Join us for the "Italian Taste Tour" - a series of month long culinary salutes to Italy's greatest regions.
The restaurant features a lavish interior inspired by Michelangelo-designed Villa San Michele in Friesole, Italy-replete with Murano light fixtures, fine leather chairs and banquettes, polished Venetian plaster, and hand painted Florentine murals.

48 Years after 1st date, Campiello gave us a quieter ambience to enjoy our memories and allowed us to reminisce.
The dining experience on the back patio was perfect for our occasion.
Camilo described Our food options so we were able to order what we wanted and the food was excellent. Only shortcoming was the choices for the Early Bird specials were lacking a beef option.
GREAT PLACE TO EAT AND WATCH!

The food was delicious. We had an 8pm reservation and weren’t seated until 8:20 even though we have arrived early. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The bar is crowded.

I don't think they are executing this menu very well. I had the roasted chicken with risotto and both the chicken and the risotto were bland. The Campiello salad wasn't too great either. I don't mind paying inflated prices in season but they need to focus on the quality.

We are returning customers from Europe and enjoy eating at Campiello‘s. This time, we were disappointed. We booked on Jan 6th, 2018, for a dinner on Feb 19th, 2018. Well in advance, knowing that February is busy.
The table we were given was in the backyard. Fine with us, but not what we expected from an early booking. The chairs were a kind of beach chairs. My wife needed 3 cushions, in order to eat more or less comfortably.
Parmesan rice: please do not add green onion leafes or peas. It doesn‘t belong to the classic parmesan rice, unless you clearly state it on the description on the menu.

Wonderful as always. Seated on time, service was excellent. Server recommended an optional veal dinner for me that was excellent. Portion large enough that my house guest reheated leftover the next noon and raved.

Four people, four excellent dishes- garganelli with chicken, peas in a cream sauce,spit roasted chicken, papardelle with braised veal sauce, and spaghetti alla chittara with meatballs. Appetizer shared of delicious arancini (rice balls). Outdoor seating on a lovely warm evening. Wines by the glass reasonable and a lot of choices. We go here every time we are in Naples.

We were seated in the courtyard ...it was wonderful. Outdoors yet protected. We had the grilled Octopus salad, veal parpadelle pasta and their wonderful special desert. The drink are pricey bit generous pour so worth the price.

The kitchen was backed up or very slow. My buratta appetizer came out way before an octopus appetizer and the papardelle mean was cool when it came out compared to the special gnocchi and the orrechiete. The server informed us they were backed up which was good but still needs to be addressed.

We had reservations for dinner with two kids. Daniel, our waiter, could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. The drinks and wine came quickly and he was extremely attentive without being annoyingly so (that is a thing). We sat outside on the terrace and it was great people watching. The food was fantastic...just a wonderful evening!

We had a party of 6. Our dinners were very good one they arrived.... although the king crab linguine was very light on crab - a bit skimpy for $34. They were out of clams which was a disappointment for my husband. The service was slow but it was a very busy Sunday evening. We had one hiccup. Our waiter, Travis, was tending to another table so the manager and 2 helpers delivered our meals. 2 of the entrees were incorrect and they had the cadence completely off. It was very hectic as they kept playing the incorrect entrees haphazardly around our table. The 2 helpers were so frenzied. The manager was a serving this and it was clear he didn't have a handle on the situation and kept saying 'I'm trying to help'. Unfortunately - we were all eating while 2 of our guests waited another 15 minutes for theirs. It wasn't travis' fault. They need a more professional manager who is better matched for a fine dining establishment. It's not whether or not issues happen, it's how I quickly and professionally they are rectified. Anyway, we would give it another try.

Short ribs terrific and my wife's pasta with crab was the best. It was our Anniversary so the evening met our expectations. We have been here before- many times but it had been a year since we last dined at Campiello. Still a great restaurant and we recommend it highly.

Pizza is great. Veal pasta very good taste but veal very tough. Their signature dish , short ribs with balsamic vinegar were good, but not exceptional. Nice scene. Popular with locals, fun to be when visiting the area. Seems to be very popular with the local crowd

What is most impressive about Campiello is its consistency. Considering the huge number of patrons in February, and the demands required of a kitchen to feed that many people at one time, this is a notable achievement.
Only area that was lacking was dessert. Not worth the calories.
