Campagnia Ratings and Reviews
It was a great place to have brunch and just get together with some friends and catch up. Ladies, if you want a place to have brunch with your friends or family, this is one of the few places in Fresno to go. You might think it is pricey, but I personally think it is worth it. My friends and I enjoyed our time there for brunch.
The food is excellent, I had the roast chicken wtib roast vegtables and my wife had the Halibut with risotto. The service was just excellent. Only complaint, it could just be the locals, but the bar had a lot of loud (borderline obnoxiously loud) customers but in all, a really good meal and great service.
I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. For a holiday meal the experience was horrible. We were sat extremely late after our reservation time. When we got our food an hour later it was cold and incomplete. If you are going to have a thanksgiving dinner please put some effort into it. Will not do it again
Steak was over cooked and when showed the waitress she took the plate out from under my husband while he was still chewing. She did bring a new plate a few minutes later but the steak was still over done. She didn’t even ask she just took his plate. They were also out of carbonation for sodas. Just a bad experience for our date night.
The food in general is somewhat over spiced and sauced. The entrée selections are "too cute".
We began frequenting this restaurant since it first opened, and then again after it reopened following the disaster in Fig Garden.
The entrée choices are getting fewer and a heavy oriental influence in the food. They need to offer more than jasmine rice and mashed potatoes or French fries. Very unimaginative. The choice of entrees seems somewhat limited and those offered have too many alterations to the basic food offering.
The house red wines by the glass are poor offering of choices.
Absolutely amazing staff that treated us with respect. Did not have to wait too long for the food. The vibe was absolutely amazing! Definitely would recommend this restaurant for any occasion whether it is for a date, a friend gathering or even a family dinner! They are a little pricy but the food is worth it!
We come to Campagnia monthly March through October for Halibut each year.
The last three times I've eaten at Campagnia have been terrible. Had to send my fish back each time for over cooking. Our appetizer even had to be recooked. The service was slow and we felt forgotten each time. We will not be returning. We will take our business elsewhere, such as Pismo's and Yosemite Ranch, who have never overcooked our meals.
Brunch is great had a good time and food was fabulous but service was not the greatest we had to keep tracking our waitress down and they sat us right in front of the jazz singer. The music was nice but we were there for a girls gossip sesh and had to talk so loud, would of appreciated being asked first if we were ok to sit there.
Never been to the much heralded brunch on Sundays, so 10 of us (plus a baby) reserved way in advance. It was close to 100° that morning, and while there was a perfectly made table for 10 inside the main restaurant, the hostess sat us in the patio. We asked about the inside table and they said it was reserved.
The fans in the covered patio overhead was inefficient, the drizzle made one side of our table wet, and the live music was a little loud.
The buffet had variety and many staple items were tasty (eggs, bacon, sausage, omelette, fruits, desserts, etc).
Service was prompt.
After spending 90 minutes there, we left and noticed that the table inside the restaurant was STILL empty. Nice.
