Campagnia Ratings and Reviews
My colleague and I stopped at Campagnia for a bite to eat while in town. We took advantage of the happy hour and it was great! The house cab was great as was the calamari we shared and both of the pizzas we had. Definitely suggest this spot for casual occasions. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant would have made for a great date as well!
Looking for last minute dinner in Fresno. Decided to give this place a try. Service was good and the food was well prepared with good flavor. Good size portions and a good value. Depending on why you are there you may want to ask to be sested on enclosed patio. Much more quiet out there. Inside can be very loud due to the vibrant bar crowd. My wife eats a lot of lamb and tells me this may be one if the best she has had. I had a NY steak and it was cooked perfectvto what i adkef for (med}. Will eat here again
Horrible night. Had reservation for 9. Not seated til past 9:30. Only buffet available and no food was left. Servers were not helpful and standing with arms folded. When we were finally seated, had to flag down a waiter to get service.
This was supposed to be a special night for New Years. Very disappointing.
We were there for New Years Eve dinner. We were not aware that it was a buffet but we were surprisingly pleased. The only recommendation I would make would be to train the individual cutting the meat to know the difference between medium and medium rare when there is prime rib being served. Great job otherwise.
It was a great place to have brunch and just get together with some friends and catch up. Ladies, if you want a place to have brunch with your friends or family, this is one of the few places in Fresno to go. You might think it is pricey, but I personally think it is worth it. My friends and I enjoyed our time there for brunch.
The food is excellent, I had the roast chicken wtib roast vegtables and my wife had the Halibut with risotto. The service was just excellent. Only complaint, it could just be the locals, but the bar had a lot of loud (borderline obnoxiously loud) customers but in all, a really good meal and great service.
I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. For a holiday meal the experience was horrible. We were sat extremely late after our reservation time. When we got our food an hour later it was cold and incomplete. If you are going to have a thanksgiving dinner please put some effort into it. Will not do it again
Steak was over cooked and when showed the waitress she took the plate out from under my husband while he was still chewing. She did bring a new plate a few minutes later but the steak was still over done. She didn’t even ask she just took his plate. They were also out of carbonation for sodas. Just a bad experience for our date night.
The food in general is somewhat over spiced and sauced. The entrée selections are "too cute".
We began frequenting this restaurant since it first opened, and then again after it reopened following the disaster in Fig Garden.
The entrée choices are getting fewer and a heavy oriental influence in the food. They need to offer more than jasmine rice and mashed potatoes or French fries. Very unimaginative. The choice of entrees seems somewhat limited and those offered have too many alterations to the basic food offering.
The house red wines by the glass are poor offering of choices.
Absolutely amazing staff that treated us with respect. Did not have to wait too long for the food. The vibe was absolutely amazing! Definitely would recommend this restaurant for any occasion whether it is for a date, a friend gathering or even a family dinner! They are a little pricy but the food is worth it!
We come to Campagnia monthly March through October for Halibut each year.
The last three times I've eaten at Campagnia have been terrible. Had to send my fish back each time for over cooking. Our appetizer even had to be recooked. The service was slow and we felt forgotten each time. We will not be returning. We will take our business elsewhere, such as Pismo's and Yosemite Ranch, who have never overcooked our meals.
