Noodles with Meat Sauce
Bok choy, spinach, king trumpet mushroom, enoki mushroom, shiitake muchroom and shishito pepper
Slightly fried cauliflower tossed with mustard mayo, garnished with sesame and green onion
Great food, great service highly recommend.
We were the first customer were skeptical but once dinner was served exceeded our expectations. Great experience
Was looking for a good Yakiniku place and Camp BBQ definitely hit the spot! Great meat cuts with and a lot of options. I was so excited to see they have Ox tongue too! Indoors felt safe during the pandemic as well. Will definitely be going back :)
We tried to eat at Camp last night and they did not honor our reservation. They said that they did not have a table even though several were empty. I generally love this restaurant and their food, but was incredibly disappointed by the service on this particular night and am not sure whether I will come back.
Loved the food and the overall experience. It was a lot of fun to try so many things and cook them ourselves. It was a bit noisy as we were by a huge table of men having a really great time.
The restaurant is much bigger than it looks outside. Service was very friendly and good. We ordered off the Happy Hour and main menu. We ordered mostly meat items and they all were very flavorful and bite size. We enjoyed our meal!
Not big portions, not AYCE either. Don't bring a hangry teenager cuz the check will be outrageous. Your clothes will smell of the BBQ, very slow service. Stick to the ramen, and the only good dish was the chips & dip.
it's a cute place that you wouldn't know about even if you walked right in front of the restaurant. when we arrived there were 3 other tables seated (when we left it was 8 or 9 tables seated). it's a nice place, not noisy, food is good and the server was very helpful and nice. I think this place has great food for the money. we are definitely going back.
Met up with friends from out of town, they arrived before us. They took advantage of the happy hour that goes until 7. We arrived a little after it ended and the waitress was kind enough to still honor happy hour beverages. The meat is delicious and fresh. The vegetables and cooking recommendation was perfect. Our grill/screen was a little warped and some of the meat cooked unevenly. Overall we had an amazing experience. Would love to take friends here again.
Delightful discovery, and we look forward to returning again soon.
Great all the way around. Quality meats and produce.
Plenty of space available when we got there. It was was quiet and service was quick and the food delicious. We were 5 adults and 6 kids. Kids loved the meat, corn and s’mores (obviously).
Great food. Wonderful customer service. meat portions are on the smaller side but will return! I really like this place!
Who doesn't like cooking food at your table. We went at happy hour and prices were quite reasonable. We loved the cauliflower side and ordered 2 more. Meats were great as was the salmon and mushrooms.
Overall fun time even for a 7 year old and he got to make his own s'mores!
Nothing special... there are a number of BBQ restaurants and this one is nothing special.
The food was delicious and we will be back! I highly recommend the angus steak and kalbi shortribs.
Showed up for a 7:30 pm Open Table reservation and there were a dozen other people with reservations at the same time. The restaurant didn’t honor any of the reservations.
Great atmosphere and a fun concept for mixing up the usual dinner experience!
Overall we really enjoyed this place. The service was a little slow, and they seemed to be a little short staffed. That said, we did get everything we ordered -which was a lot. Very happy with the quality of the food and the value.
Members farewell party!
Flavorless, not great cuts of meat. Nice people but ....
Amazing dinner experience for friends gathering, meat is fresh, delicious and I will definitely go back to try more dishes.
We had dinner here while on vacation. The food was pretty good. The service wasn't bad either, granted made reservations for an hour before closing so it wasn't very busy. Hence there wasn't much noise. Overall we had a good experience and I'd recommend giving this place a shot.
My wife, I and my 2 daughters age 10 all went to camp and loved it. It was great for kids and super fun to cook our own food at the table. My kids declared it their new favorite place. The salmon and skirt stake were the two favorites. My wife and I also liked the mixed asian vegetables. As it was our first time at japanese bbq a little more instruction on the cooking would have been helpful but we quickly learned that you need to cook in the center of the grill. We'll definitely be back!
Just needed a night out. Wanted something Asian. Was looking for a ramen spot but found this on yelp and decided to give it a try. Was lots of fun. Felt like we were in Japan. Food was delicious and service was good. Was a bit more expensive than I would have liked but we did order a lot so for the experience plus good food and service it was worth it.
Went there a while ago and was happy with the overall dining experience. Decided to go back as a birthday dinner with the family. We were decidedly satisfied with the meal until we heard that the fried pineapple dessert was not available, otherwise I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Mediocre beef which titled kobe but actually not even wagyu.
Delicious food, good service, great happy hour deals. I highly recommend the hangar steak, it's my go-to favorite. If you like sweet drinks, I recommend the flavored Soju cocktails.
We made a reservation at 10:30. We rushed to get there on time and arrived at 10:30 only to find out they had closed early. My family and I were very disappointed. If they plan to close early they shouldn’t take reservations or at least have the courtesy to notify diners that they won’t honor their reservation.
If you are dining late call to confirm that they will be open when you areive
Terrible, only 1 server working on Fathers Day
Waited more than 20 min for service. Got up and left
Lady was very rude
There’s only one waitress. Very slow to respond to our ordering more meat and water. Entre portion is small.
Pretty fine !
The dumpling is quite alright.
The boneless chaku beef was good .
This is probably my favorite Japanese style BBQ in the city. It comes down to the cuts of meat, which are nicely marbled, and are all very flavorful. The place is small, but not too small, has mellow lighting and nice decor. Good place to grab food on a date, or with friends or family. This kind of food is always fun, so it is pretty flexible as far as occasions.
It was very nice will come back again
Love this place! Will say even though there was only one server she was great. But hey another server to help out, you could tell she was struggling but she did an amazing job!
I have no complaints on the food. The food was really good in fact. The biggest complaint I had was on the service. Upon checking in, the manager said I never "confirmed" my reservation. I was never sent anything to confirm either way. When I asked her how I was supposed to confirm, she couldn't provide me with anything other than "you didn't confirm." She acted really annoyed and didn't want to seat us for approximately 20-30 minutes. If she were apologetic from the start and we had to wait still, it wouldn't have been a big deal but she definitely made us feel at fault for something they didn't do their diligence on. She then only told us she could squeeze us in a 6 person table (we were 7 people). When we ordered wine, she was out of one of the options and tried to sneakily give us another bottle instead. Luckily we noticed and she tried to play dumb. We were also not really attended to and had to wave them down any time we wanted anything.
Food was very good. Setting was nice. Highly recommended.
We are Japanese. This place is perfect Japanese style BBQ place and we love to everything. So many kind of dish. Beef, Pork, Lamb, Vegetables etc... And Beef tongue is best!!
Surprisingly we were the only 2 customer during the heart of dinner time on a weekday. The food came out quickly of course since we cooked our own food and we were the only customers. We ordered the mushroom medley, scallops (6 pieces), filet mignon (4 pieces), duck breast (8 pieces) and the Kobe sampler. Keep in mind that each order of meat is about 3 oz - 3.5 oz. The quality of meat was good and flavorful, but very tiny portion. We ended our dinner with a mango sticky rice cream brulee.
Overall, this was an experience that didn't keep us full through the night and left a $60 hole in my pocket for 2 people.
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the BBQ items we ordered. The only downside was the chicken kara age appetizer, which was not authentic. I know because I cook this and gauge Japanese restaurants with this dish. This restaurant is not a true Japanese yakiniku, but we would still return because they still do a great job with the BBQ/grill items.
Camp BBQ is rated 4.5 stars by 69 OpenTable diners.
Yes, you can generally book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size on OpenTable. Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting reservations at the moment.
