Sunday Brunch: 9:30am - 2:30pm
Sunday Dinner 5:00pm-9:00pm
This was my second time going to the Mill for Brunch and it never disappoints. Our server Brad was wonderful, the view amazing and the food was fabulous. We will be back.
Busy night, but still good service. One of our favourite places to dine
This place provides a beautiful location, atmosphere, service and good food. It is elegant and now that I have been twice, it is a ‘go to’ restaurant for me. The family ownership goes back a long way and I remember when they bought the Ancaster Mill and made it into a wonderful restaurant. Well done.
Great location and excellent facility overlooking the Grand. Bar area as well as dining area comfortable and well served by staff with appropriate recommendations on wine and food.
We were celebrating our 30th anniversary the main course was amazing but the dessert not so much. We ordered the carrot cake and was expecting a nice slice of cake but got a little rectangle of something that was trying way too hard.
My advice about dessertkeep it simple.
I know it’s not the fault of the restaurant but I was very disappointed by the customers dress.
I know it’s smart casual but I don’t think some even met that criteria my husband and I dressed for the occasion.
My overall experience was very pleasing.
Disappointed with the food. most of hot dishes were cold or empty. Changed desert selection not much but some squares. Also noticed the chairs were riped or very soiled .This was not the a great place to take friends out to.
We really enjoy the evening meals and made the Brunch one of our priorities when scheduling would be possible. Regrettably it was a mistake .
I took my boyfriend for brunch here on his 30th birthday. The food was delicious! We love the freshly shucked oysters that are at the brunch. Main dishes are prepared right in front of you, including omelettes and crepes. They have someone is cutting and serving meats including a ham and prime rib! We have a fantastic time every time we go to the Cambridge Mill. The server went above and beyond, by bringing us both an individually packaged dessert to take home since we were celebrating a birthday. I recommend this place to everyone!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. It's pricey, but it's worth it for special occasions.
Excellent food and service Thankyou . We will be rebooking again
Our visit was wonderful...foodwas exceptional . The only drawback would be the noise level.
Service was exceptional.
Great ambiance ~ excellent dinner ~ disappointing dessert
It's our go-to spot pre theater. Lovely venue and food has never disappointed.
A small birthday celebratory lunch with friends. Server atentive but not intrusive. Also fun to chat with.
Meals lovely and generous portions.
Will try to make the drive more often. Such a lovely lovely setting with so many seats with good views.
We had a lovely meal after attending an afternoon Theatre Performance and had the wonderful view by the river and were able to take photos of the CPR Holiday Train as it crossed the railway bridge over the river. You couldn’t ask for much more!😊😊!
Kate was amazing! In addition to the champagne to celebrate our special day, Kate truly anticipated our needs and made excellent suggestions regarding the menu. The food was fantastic as well - ribeye and salmon were both perfect. We will definitely be back!
The experience was great from start to end. The service was welcoming and kind and did not miss an opportunity to help us with selections or offer advice. The food was well spaced out seeing as we had salads each, a calamari appetizer followed by entrees each. Each course was as delicious as the last. Overall an amazing experience.
We go to the Cambridge Mill for special occasions and it never disappoints. It is a splurge but you cannot beat the service, food and ambience.
Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was beautiful and the meal and wine were delicious.
Brunch was awesome! very organized and always full of food they never ran out. Service was exceptional ! temperature of the place needs to be turned down a bit with that many people there but that's all that I would suggest
We asked for a window seat and was seated right at a window, thank you.
We called Saturday to add 2 more to the reservation, we were accommodated, thank you.
Our waiter was fantastic. I am sorry I did not get his name, thank you.
It was a wonderful birthday brunch for my husband, thank you.
Amazing service and overall variety food options for brunch.
Every time we go its exceptional, year round it great to always eat at The Mill!
I was not impressed with the food at all I found the bread very greasy and too much butter and mayonnaise on my club sandwich my fries were not very warm at all either and kind of soggy
Great atmosphere, quiet enough to have a conversation and delicious food! Thank you!!
Had a wonderful evening. Fantastic service.
Great restaurant,The food we ordered was terrible unfortunately.
The ambiance is outstanding here and the service matches. The room is beautiful and cocktails excellent. We really enjoyed our evening and LOVED sitting by the fireplace. The oysters were outstanding as was the beet salad. The only challenge was the main course we had (braised beef over polenta) was really not that superb (polenta was bland, braised beef lacked flavor and the parsnips were overcooked) and then the chicken dish was too salty, which really was unfortunate. I think the local focus, local ingredients was great - I'd love to try is place again. But they need to work on their main dishes considering the price and competition out there.
Always great food and great service!
The waitress we had “Lysa H”was incredible efficiency ... super friendly and so welcoming. I’m coming back with my family before the holiday and I would love to sit in her section of service. Not everyday you get a server to make you feel the money I spend it’s so well worth. Lysa..... keep up the good work and looking forward to see you soon.
Beautiful venue, reliably tasty food, wonderful service
The restaurant was very busy and somewhat noisy. The young child that was occasionally screaming interfered with the ambience of our evening. We were there for our anniversary and requested a window seat, but that did not happen which was disappointing. We were very disappointed with our dessert - we ordered carrot cake to share and it was quite unusual, more like a sponge cake with chocolate icing. The size was quite small, not at all what we expected.
Our main meals were very good - salmon and pasta carbonara.
All in all, it was an okay experience and not what we had hoped for to celebrate a special anniversary.
Nice restaurant with great view and atmosphere. Server was friendly. Steak pizza wasn’t that great, not worth the money. Tenderloin was over done. Carrot cake had barely any carrot. If the food was better this would be an outstanding restaurant as the venue is nice.
Had clients from Texas we all enjoyed our meals.
It took our waiter 20+ minutes to get our drink orders, the manager was the ones that poured our water at the table. Our food was delicious but overpriced. During the night, our waiter barely ever checked on us and our empty plates sat there for 10+ minutes. At the end of dinner my family and I just wanted to go home because we did not want to wait anymore for coffee or desert, when getting the bill they included the gratuity. Our waiter who took their time, didn’t bring us our food and barely came over to the table, got a $50 tip because it was already included.
I have taken friends and family over the years to the Brunch overall excellent This time I must complain about the crepes which were always a highlight of desserts Instead of 2crepes filling the frying pan the cook put one very small thin crepe in the pan nt even covering the bottom of the pan with the fruit put a lot of alcohol on it resulting in gigantic flames and then served it a small lump the size of a small potato on the plate not cooked Hopfully ,this was just a bad day not a cost cutting measure.
Waited 15mins for our table despite reservation. Service was great. Food was not being replaced quickly enough with several dishes. Make spoons available at our tables. Many dishes were too cold eg breakfast area. Tools to pick up some food was not appropriate eg cheese platter. Overall felt that something was missing compared to how it used to be even just 9 months ago. Maybe it was the selection of food was less but overall felt that perhaps $53 was no longer worth it. Consider 2 option packages: one with and one without alcohol. Do we can pay less if we don’t drink alcohol. Vegan choices are very limited so my daughter probably had about $5 worth of food. Thank you for putting us in the area we requested. Not sure I will becoming as often unless it is worth my 1 hour drive to get there. You used to be better frankly.
Great Sunday brunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary
Sunday Brunches at the Cambridge Mill are always excellent!
