Celebrating a 40th... the cold buffet was delicious! Oysters were perfect, smoked salmon was excellent and the charcuterie was wonderful. Great selection of fresh fruit and bread. Mimosa and Caesar’s a nice touch. The hot buffet could have been hot. I was warm at best and some items were cold. The dessert crepes were fantastic! Overall it was good.... thanks for the birthday cupcake it was I nice touch

The food, service and ambience are top notch. Our waiter was amazing and his personality shone through.

We would like to see more vegetarian and vegan items. Your burger evening should also have a vegetarian option. As our society is aiming for more inclusiveness on all levels, we hope that you take this extra step to include a more varied menu that pleases all.

Thank you and looking forward to your response.

Food was pretty good. I asked for a medium steak but it came out medium rare which I can kind of understand cause I did get the 35 ounce so harder to cook properly because of the thickness. The entree I got was flatbread with garlic and stuff but honestly not worth th 15 bucks cause I have had way better at east side Mario's. The service was perfect I couldn't ask for better. For the 2 of us to eat there cost 150 bucks. Dessert is 12 bucks so if you are looking for something fancy this is the place to go but be prepared to drop some serious coin on food.

Apps and Mains were amazing. Dessert not good at all and over priced. Drinks overpriced but quality. Coffee was burnt.
A restaurant at this price point should be on point with everything, not hit and miss.
Not eager to return, may try it one more time.

This was one of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. The service was very slow, the wait staff had no clue who had ordered what and the food was under whelming. The $14 Cesar salad was in a very small bowl, over dressed and tasted like it was made the day before. The $49 ribeye steak was maybe 3/8" thick and there is no way it was 14 oz. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Went here for Valentine's day. Was told there would be an additional special menu, there was but it had only 1 app and 1 entree option which was a bit disappointing especially since the app was $35 and special entree was almost $90. I also special requested a booth from when I made the reservations over 3 months beforehand and it was not honoured even though there were booths available (I noticed this on the way to the restroom).
The table we were sat at felt awkward. We were in the middle of 2 other tables and what felt like in the middle of an aisle. We watched 3 other guests come in and try to be sat near us and asked to move because of how terrible the set up was. We didn't want to be a bother but I guess we could've. Not sure why better areas weren't sat first if they were available?
Service was good however entrees came before appetizer was finished and drinks took a long time to receive. Entrees were ok. My husband had a tenderloin and it was really good. I ordered the burger but didn't realize it would come still pink in the centre, which would have been fine except being pregnant, it would of been wise to have been told how its prepared so I could've requested a well done burger or chosen something different. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat it which was really upsetting. Yes, I could've sent it back but knowing how busy the restaurant was, I did not want my husband's food to get cold while waiting for mine to be remade and it made me loose my appetite all together anyways biting into what looked like undercooked meat. (It wasn't "under" just not appetizing to this pregnant woman.)
We would go again but not on Valentine's day when it's too busy to be up to the standard we thought it would be. Will defintely try again another time though.

We had requested a table beside a window overlooking the beautiful Grand River, the charming apron dam and the churning mill race. Our request was granted and we were pleased and excited. It was Valentine's Day and this was to be a special treat for each other. Imagine our disappointment when a server closed the drapes on the window with the result that we could not have a full view of the river. The drapes were eventually opened after sunset (which we were unable to see) and darkness began to fall.

The service and ambiance are great. Food was good with nothing substantial to complain about but it wasn't amazing. I didn't come away thinking I have to tell people to go but neither would I dissuade anyone.

The service was superb and the food was excellent. Would recommend highly.
A window table is a very nice way to enjoy the ambience.

Beautiful building with great view of the river. Great service and great food. The only thing I would change was the music. Would prefer more subtle, softer music especially for a romantic evening or a celebration of a special occasion.

I alway enjoy the food at the mill and the view was beautiful. I have a lot of allergies and the staff can alway accommodate my needs. I did slip on some ice and fell in the parking lot on my way in. There seemed to be no salt down.

Great food great service. Our server was wonderful making my father's birthday ever so special, he doesn't eat dessert so he was brought a beer with a candle on the side it made his night.

Steaks were cooked to perfection.

We have been to the Mill many times and it's always a favorite spot to take out of town guests. There are more options now for meeting gluten free dietary restrictions. We tried the gf pizza but were not impressed. It was overcooked and pretty tasteless. The salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly, with the portion on the small side. Service and views of the river were excellent.

It would have been amazing except that we couldn't sit in the dining area because there had been a problem with the fireplace and there was a lot of smoke and it stung our eyes. Because everyone else had moved out of the dining room, the only spot that was left to seat six was a partially walled off section at the end of the bar room so the ambiance was less than stellar. But these things happen, unfortunately it was my wifes birthday. The place is beautiful however and we will definitely go back again and hopefully get to sit in the dining area. After diner
we moved to the other side of the wall and sat and watched the young one man play his guitar and sing - he was good.

Food great! Service great! The smoke from the fire was horrendous! It lingered for the entire dinner. The room temperature was still very cold. Unacceptable when spending well over $200 for dinner. The servers solution was to crack the door which made it even colder. We had to have our clothes dry cleaned due to the lingering campfire smell. Very disappointing. Other customers didn't check their coat therefore were able to wear their winter coats during dinner. We were not that lucky. Strongly suggest they figure out a better way to heat their dining room.

Everything was wonderful, my only tiny complaint was that I was looking for more vegetarian options. There was a poached egg with hollandaise sauce and ham ~ I thought that it really would have been easy to have one tray without the ham also there was two potato dishs both had bacon added. Otherwise we were there for a birthday breakfast and it was tasty and special. Thank you for the delicious experience :)

Dinner was great, service was wonderful but management and first aid was horrible after my husband fell down the stairs.
