Great Beerunch! - Awesome food, beer and great service. Will be going again!
Friendly waitstaff, great brunch menu, excellent beer
I had the black bean burger and sweet potato fries and it was excellent. Their light lager was really great tasting and refreshing as well!
Of all my covid-era outdoor dining experiences so far, I think CBC is one of the best, with a patio space that perfectly balances shelter from traffic/noise, open airflow, and inter-table spacing. Excellent job. Also great beer and food!
server took about 30 mins to ask us what we want to order, the food came out 45 mins after we ordered and it came out wrong so it had to be returned to the kitchen and we had to wait another 15 mins so 1 hour in total. Food was good but not worth the wait
The food was pretty good for regular American pub-like fare. Expensive but reasonable for the Boston area. Very happy about the ample outdoor seating.
Cold fries, cold chicken in ceasar salad which had more croutons than kale or lettuce. Beer was good and appetizers but meal sucked. :(
We had a high quality salad with roasted beets, shishito peppers and hummus. We went for the beer but were pleasantly surprised by the food. We’ll be back. An additional plus was that the patio is dog friendly.
Our beers (Piter Pater and Hefeweizen) were excellent. The catch of the day (swordfish) was delicious. Friendly and attentive service, including a water bowl for our dog. The patio is always relaxing, and they maintain good social distancing, even on a Friday night. Creative menu, local ingredients, and great beers. Well worth it.
Took an hour from when we had our reservation to when we finally got seated and got our drinks. Then my dinner ended up being cold.
It was ok, nothing particularly bad...just not great.
Great place, great beer and food, service is excellent. Would recommend!
Slow service. I am fine with being held to an hour and a half with everything going on but it becomes frustrating when the waiter doesn’t show up for the first 20 minutes of that time slot. food wasn’t horrible but was sub par. Soooo many other better places to eat and drink in the area. They know how to write a menu but can’t back it up.
We tried the halibut special & IT WAS FANTASTIC! It was served over a bed of corn succotash which was delicious. Great value for this typically expensive fish: $20. The brrusels sprouts app with curry mayo was also wonderful.
Great beer, of course; nice outdoor seating. We felt very "safe" regarding Covid protocols.
Great spot! Plenty of space between tables, excellent food and beer!
Though the food was outstanding, it was raining outside and my party sitting under the awning got “wet” from dripping rain water. Under the current circumstances in our world, it is a difficult thing to deal with because you could not really eat indoors. So the restaurant did as best they could.
I am very upset at how they handled the thunderstorm. We had our food out on a table and we asked to move under the covered area. The rain started and everyone ran to the covered area. We picked up our food and drinks and dog and stood in the middle trying to figure out what to do. A manager came out and saw my dad trying to eat his food in the rain and told him that we can't go inside because of the dog and didn't try to get people without dogs inside so we can sit in the covered area. He left us trying to figure out where to hide/hold our food and drinks and try to eat it. People were laughing at us. In situations like this, it would be normal for our server to help us bring our food to a table so it doesn't' get wasted. People with dogs and SERVED FOOD should have priority to move to the covered outdoors area. They should have been prepared for this situation. I even asked to be moved but I must have asked too late because we were not. Very upset with this situation. They treated us very poorly.
Everything was great but service was very slow and infrequent. The waiter said it was okay if we werent ready to order as long as we would be ready by the time the drinks came and then we didnt see him again for a long while.
Great experience and outdoor seating was spaced out and felt very safe social-distancing wise.
Love CBC! Excellent attention to cleanliness as well as an excellent dining experience, considering all of the new pandemic guidelines.
Really appreciate the way they've set up the patio for Covid. I feel safe there and appreciate all the steps they take to be a safe place to visit. A sense of normalcy to go out. Food and beer gray as always.
We sat at outdoor patio. Service was terrific. Beer selection and apps were delicious. We then ordered their Monday bucket of fried chicken to go, which was also terrific.
Nice outside vibe . Had to wait 30 minutes even though I had reservation
Waited half hour for our table with a reservation. Once we were seated the service and food were great. Our waitress helped make the experience much more enjoyable.
Had a great time on the CBC patio Friday night. Very impressed with their outdoor seating setup. We were spaced out well from other groups with dividers. Felt very safe and distant, but not at all awkward. Service was great. The beer and food were solid as always. Felt like a nice ‘normal’ night out. Thanks CBC!
Burgers were killer last night! Yum!!! And of course, the beer was wonderful as well!
We loved it! Food was delicious and device was great.
My friends, puppy and I had a great time. They had a water bowl for my puppy and a great outdoor area for her to hang out in. For the humans, the food was delicious and it was nice and quiet so we could catch up. We would highly recommend it!
CBC has adjusted to COVID-era dining amazingly well! The beer is as great as ever (and a great deal, with most drinks price around $6-7), tasty, locally sourced food, and a charming beer garden, now spread out a bit more than usual. The Hefeweizen was excellent, the scallops perfectly cooked, and the staff friendly.
As always, the service, food, and beer were excellent. The patio has been a great place to spend the
CBC is now our go-to brunch spot! I had the french toast, and my husband had eggs & sausage. Everything was incredible.
The waiter didn’t check in on us much. One person didn’t get to order a drink. We had a reservation for 6:30 and didn’t get our table until 7 and still had to be done by 8. The bill included an 18% service fee but the reservation was only for a party of 4.
I love this place so much - food is great, service is great, beer is great and they love my dog.
Went here for a date night and it was great. Beer was decent, food was good but the outdoor patio ambience is great. All social distancing rules were followed so felt very comfortable. Also dog friendly which was great!
Great service and food. Good place for dogs as well! Will definitely be back.
One of my favorite spots! Excellent food and incredibly creative local brews.
The outdoor service was excellent and extremely dog-friendly! We were greeted immediately with a water bowl for the pup, and the server was wonderful. She was a highlight of the night.
Great beer with lots of choices. Food was great as well and the waiter was very helpful. Not cheap, but not expensive either. Overall very happy with our experience. Will definitely be coming back.
Great place to escape the mid-day heat. Friendly wait staff, it was good to see everyone wearing their masks and staying safe & socially distant. Excellent and interesting beer varieties.
