The food was excellent. The service great. Their was plenty of food choices. Had a wonderful dinner.
So sweet! My mom and I were on a mother-daughter weekend, and the lodge was the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine, beer, and good comfort food while listening to live music!! Great memories.
Beautiful restaurant with beautiful gardens. Every item on the menu was very tempting. My food was delicious and cooked perfectly the way I asked. The creme brûlée was spectacular! Overall great place to dine for date night, family or special occasion. They were very accommodating for our party of 11.
Food was excellent. The reservation part not as good. We had a 7:30 reservation and arrived promptly at 7:30. I was told there was a 20 minute wait because they had "overbooked." Unacceptable! We chose to sit outside because the wait was shorter for outside seating. The rest of the evening went well.
Starting with the warm bread, through the Caesar Salad to the filet mignon done exactly as we asked, everything was perfect for our dinner. I am sorry I have forgotten the name of our waitress but she was very knowledgeable about the wines and told us about the spectacular Austin Hope special of the evening which would complement our meal. We definitely will return here for dinner the next time we are in Cambria.
Great location, hotel superb, food also amazing, prices good
Cambria pines lodge was a great place to stay the food was good and the Atmosphere was very pleasant, the only complaint my family and I had what is the beds were very uncomfortable.
The food was excellent but we were disappointed to be seated at 8 for a 7:15 reservation. No compensatory offer made to the lounge full of people waiting for tables far past their reservation times. Well beyond the county occupancy limits for red tier, maybe 75 percent rather than 25 percent allowed.
We were dining on a Travelzoo promotional offer from Cambria Pines Lodge. It's a great place to dine as the menu has variety and the entrees taste good.
Great place to eat when staying at the Cambria Pines Lodge. It has great indoor and outdoor seating and food is very good. Only complaint would be the service was a bit slow, but worth the wait.
Great Easter brunch with friends ! Highly recommend
The only issue was they were not ready for the 11am start time. People arrived and had to wait for almost 30 minutes before being seated. They were short staffed and the girl checking people in did not understand her job.
First seating ran a bit late but was understandable. It was their first Brunch since the pandemic. Mimosas were served to those in line and all was well. :)
Food and service were outstanding. Live music was also a plus!
Food was cooked perfect, wait staff was attentive and overall experience was great. We go here 2-3 times a year and are always satisfied with our stay and their food!
Friendly place in a wonderful old time lodge atmosphere. Very charming evening in the trees. The food was decent, all ate heartily, it's just not on the foodie cutting edge or super sophisticated. There was local wine, including the increasingly rare "table" brand, some of which was refreshing and one of which was a tad sweet, but that's the battle for Central Coast vintners! Protocols all followed, except for the older hippie/rustics who had their feet up on their benches being a little too comfortable, breaking the common courtesy protocol.
Our waitress Was excellent. I think her name was Katy....very attentive. Our food was excellent....we will definitely be back.
It was ok. They are very nice and attentivr, but the food is only ok.
Good was amazing and service was great.
Good needed more seasoning.
Nice respect for social distancing. Friendly staff
We went for our anniversary. We LOVE Cambria Pines Lodge. The menu has changed so it was hard
Loved it... one of the best dinners of our 40th anniversary road trip up the coast.. loved the little intimate setting outside
My wife and I have eaten at the Cambria Pines Lodge at least 5 times. Each time, the food and service have been fantastic. We ate outside in a cozy cove atmosphere, and the server was great. I would highly recommend this place 1000%.
The steak was great. Our waiter was wonderful and personable.
Exquisite dishes and affordable prices. Always good and the service is great.
Awesome property! Lots of space to explore and enjoy your privacy. Outstanding customer service. Felt very cared for but not invasive. Very positive upbeat vibe throughout our stay. Will return!! BTW Delicious meals.
Awesome place to relax and eat outstanding food!
Always a solid choice. Pork Chop and Mac n cheese are our go tos here. Thank you Martin for the great service.
We got very lucky finding a reservation for Valentine’s Day. We took a 30 min drive from where we were staying. We were iffy at first to take drive. So glad we did. The minute we walked in we were greeted by a teenage young Man who seated us. The waiter came shortly to greet us, took our drink order and we ordered appetizers. The appetizer was delicious. There was also a young lady helping out and would check in on us to see if everything was ok. Great staff, the team work showed thru out the night. The food is highly recommended. And you can’t leave with out trying the desserts. This was our first valentines together, this place made it come altogether. Worth the trip to try this place.
Birthday dinner. Good food and good service. Cheesecake was delicious!
Celebrated our honeymoon in cambria, had dinner at the pines lodge and it was amazing.
Enjoyed the food and the house wine. The pork chops were excellent and the prime rib is always great with the horseradish. Service was perfect and the waiter even brought us birthday cake and ice cream on the house.
It was an absolutely beautiful and romantic night. Thank you!
So impressed by the commitment to safety in all the procedures the staff were observing. We all enjoyed our meal and the surroundings, service was very good and super friendly. Again, so impressed by all the measures in place to protect against COVID 19. The lights were spectacular, and we enjoyed the live music as well as listening to Santa field requests from some younger visitors. A very memorable and pleasant experience for my family. Thank you.
We sere able to sit in one of the outdoor kiosks so that was private and social distanced.
We enjoyed the setting and the fireplace which was needed for evening. Ordering was scan the menu code and order on line. Waiter delivered our dinners in to go containers so not much to comment about service. My filet was nice and shrimp were good. They each had a sauce which ran together so the mashed potatoes c/should have been placed in the middle of the two. Paul's salmon was a bit mushy in texture.
The ambience was very beautiful...however, the Christmas music stopped midway through dinner. Our food was brought out very quickly but for the price we payed for my families meal we were a bit disappointed. My son and daughter both ordered the filet mignon and me and my husband ordered the surf n turf, which came with a 8oz sirloin steak. Both cuts of meats looked identical and tasted identical. All steaks were cooked medium rare as requested. They were all a bit tough and difficult to cut. The steak knives were not the best quality for cutting steaks making it difficult to cut as well. All the food came out together including appetizer and side salad that was a bit warm from sitting with the other hot dishes. The rest of the food wes delicious. We enjoyed the decor and lights but walked away a bit disappointed in the meal.
Great food !
Went on date night, it was our first time there and given the restrictions it was still very special. All the staff was friendly.
Considering all the covid modifications, this was a great experience. Food was good and warm. Lots of space heaters. Live music. Most tables were full, but it was a nice calm environment. Would have liked a little more interaction with the server as we needed refills, but I understand the limited contact. Thanks for a nice meal before viewing the lights!
Food was excellent and the outdoor dining area was well heated and very nice.
While we understand our meal took place during Covid, the experience was “interesting” to say the least. Others around us had a server helping with drink orders, we had no one ever taking our order or serving water.
The online menu & ordering was extremely glitchy - internet service was very spotty and problematic. We were asked to pay and tip in advance which honestly was off-putting. Given the service, I regretted tipping what I had pre-paid. Social distancing was not being practiced according to CDC guidelines. Our table was within 2 feet from the table next to ours. We kept our masks on because of that. Their grounds are large enough that this should not have occurred, and we noticed open tables in other areas.
The food was good, but was not hot and was served in plastic cafeteria style containers. I found that odd because while the cups were also plastic, they went to the trouble of using metal utensils and cloth napkins. Odd combination that made zero sense.
All around, it was an odd experience, and not at all worth what was pre-paid. The experience was over before it began.
Dinner and the cambria lights walk!
