The company was delightful and ambience of the restaurant was sublime. Staff made sure we were well taken care of and the food was delicious. Our party of 5 was very satisfied with the overall experience and will dine again! Bravo.
First time we’ve dined at Caliza and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent food and wine list. Service was outstanding... wish they weren’t closed all winter but will look forward to visiting again in the spring.
The atmosphere gets a 10. Very chic decor and ambiance. The table of 8 next to us with 5 screaming babies ruined that for us though. The service was extremely slow and the place was not crowded. Their menu had six entree choices. I don’t eat meat so there were three fish choices which was great. However they all had weird descriptions and the waiter didn’t know how to explain them. So we ordered appetizers instead.
The food was great and so was the service. I think they were even better than last year.
We went to Caliza to celebrate our anniversary and it was really a memorable evening. Having a cocktail on the raised mezzanine at dusky is a magical experience. The service was impeccable and the ambience extraordinary. To be honest, the food was just ok. The chef seems a bit limited to Peruvian-style dishes and the menu could have used more variety and creativity, especially in terms of using local ingredients. Also, the restaurant and pool have a certain Middle Eastern vibe and the ceviche and excessive amounts of cilantro seemed a bit incongruous. The food wasn’t bad; it just wasn’t on par with the other aspects of the experience.
We will certainly be back.
My husband and I came here tonight for our anniversary and had the best time! All the staff members went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. And the food was exceptional. We will definitely come back in the future ♥️
Night out with my bride and a special bottle of Hall wine.
Very unique setting in the 30A area. Comfortable, open with unique takes on many dining favorites. Creative mixologist as well.
We celebrated 30 year anniversary and had a beautiful evening !great staff and setting!
Thank you Caliza staff for a gorgeous large group dinner party under the stars for my 13 girlfriends! They all loved ALL of it & the food was amazing & the memories will last us all a lifetime! Cheers!
The restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere and food was great. We received excellent service. The only negative was parking.
The restaurant was absolutely beautiful!!! The food...meh! Would not go back!
Excellent service and food is paced well and presented with unusual and flavorful twists.
We loved our first visit to Caliza! The food was spectacular and the venue was lovely.
Love love my dining experience per usual at Caliza but I do wish they had a better cooling system for the warmer Summer days/ nights. It can get very uncomfortable dining on dishes that are a bit heartier (yet delicious) than some.
Food was pretty good, poolside dining was nice. Service was just ok. Very inflexible about ordering from the bar and substituting vegetables.
Great restaurant and ambiance.
Have gone out to eat every night of my Honeymoon in 30A. This has been my favorite. Great food, drinks, service, and amazing atmosphere for a night out. It is a must while you are at 30A
We had a delightful evening at Caliza! The cocktails were refreshing and creative. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the whole fish and it was amazing! I had the tuna and loved the creative flavor combination. Highly recommend for a date night!
My wife and I have wanted to try Caliza for a while. This was a quick weekend trip without the kids. The restaurant atmosphere was great. The food was bland. We were glad we tried but doubt we’d ever go back. Nothing from appetizer through dessert was memorable except the food was bland. My steak was over cooked, potatoes and cauliflower were grossly under seasoned. It was a shame. Food could have been much better to match the atmosphere.
My husband and I absolutely LOVED this place. We enjoyed our visit so much, we made reservations on our way out for another night that week so we could sample the rest of the menu. The food was fresh and tasted phenomenal. The drinks were unique, refreshing, and delicious. The service was outstanding. The setting is gorgeous. Restaurant was quiet enough that we could easily talk to one another, but with enough background noise that we weren't worried about disrupting others. The only thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is completely outdoors and to dress appropriately for the weather.
I was looking for a great meal & was attracted to the outdoor seating. This meal was not worth $300 for two adults & two kids. There was plenty of seating & yet we were shoved in a corner with no views but a wall & with a cluster of other tables but everything else was open? Pretty area but I would recommend going elsewhere. My daughter had the mushroom ragout which was ok.. too much citrus. My husband & I had the beef tenderloin. Again, it was just ok.. very bland. We love a good meal & don’t mind the expense if it’s worth it.. this was not.
The atmosphere is unparalleled. It is the most unique dining experience. Highly recommend. And our server, Emily, was the best. So nice and so knowledgeable!
The entrees were good. Avoid the chorizo toast, entirely too heavy. My biggest complaint was that there was ZERO airflow at the table and the temperature was close to 90 degrees which made me very uncomfortable. I really just wanted the meal to end so that I could leave and cool off.
Very salty scallops!!!! Food/other dishes were just ok. Drinks and atmosphere are always great!
The food and wait staff were very good. We were seated next to the kitchen where there was more activity and therefore a higher noise level. Outdoor dining is something we enjoy but not quite as much when there is activity in the pool which was in close proximity to our dining area. It’s fine dining in a casual setting.
How it took a decade or more of stays on 30A to discover this hidden gem is shocking. One of the best and most unique dining experiences on the entire route. Now that we’ve found it, we’ll be back and will ask for Emily for sure!!!
It was just unbearably hot for a nice meal . At least put more fans / misters out
One of my favorite meals of all time!
Awesome!!!! Everything about it.
If you go to 30A, this should be a place at the top of your priority list. European style pool scene with the outdoor restaurant right by.
Setting is great, service was worthy, but food failed. Chef tried too hard to make too many things come together, all of which were fair, but ultimately neither impressed nor exceeded similar dishes in the region.
This setting is amazing, and I hope the food can soon equal.
Caliza is awesome! Great atmosphere, food/beverage and amazing decor! Emily was a great server and every item we had was phenomenal! Cannot wait to come back in August!
Great food and amazing atmosphere!
We had a wonderful experience at Caliza celebrating our anniversary! The service was outstanding and everything we ordered was perfectly prepared!
Beautiful place, excellent food. Will keep coming back. The waiter was extremely slow this time but might just be new. Expensive dining as well but it truly is worth it.
It's one of our favorite places and is always a treat as the menu changes often,
Beautiful location. Amazing service and food. Perfect ambiance. Just beautiful to experience.
This is my second time at Caliza. The service is fabulous! We had a young man serve us who was probably the best server ever! The food was good, but not out of this world. Our Ahi Tina was Luke warm... I get rare, med rare even better, if it’s seared, for my taste; but the room temp was off putting. We had s great evening and wine was spectacularly expensive but yummy!!!
