Very good place for dinner or lunch. Nice beer selection. Good for a date or dinner with friends.
Not what I expected. There's construction going on, though that didn't hinder us. We were seated ahead of time, which was fine, in a garden area with zero appeal save the sunshine. For being connected to a "brewery," beer selection was limited. My hub did enjoy his RyePA. My tortilla soup was delightful, everyone enjoyed tasting it. Ask for a cup if you don't want a bowl. The seafood pasta was fishy, the burger was just a burger. The garlic fries were ok, as was the lemon ice box pie. The $105 bill was extraordinary for such ordinary dining. Service was ok for a slow lunch time, though our young lady server was sweet, when she came around.
Very nice place with great food, service and drinks
St. Pat's Day Dinner was delicious! The brisket was tender and not salty. The mashed potatoes were creamy and perfectly seasoned. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and were happy to experience a bit of Ireland with the music and food. By the way, the beer bread was yummy!
Calistoga Inn is a staple. Unfortunate that the prices just keep going up and up without any noticeable change in quality or quantity. For example- a plain Caesar Salad is priced at $17.00 when it should be more like $12 to $14.
We were staying in calistoga and the menu looked good on line. It was quiet so we could talk which is very important to us. Husband had a good pizza and i had a delicious seafood fetuccini dish. Great salad too. I would go back.
This was an amazing Valentine’s Day present date with the love of my life had a wonderful time
The restaurant decor was very open and there was a lot of light, very cute. The food was great - loved the roasted brussel sprouts and winter risotto! Service was super quick and very attentive.
My wife and I ate here while on vacation and the food was fantastic! She had the gnocchi and I had the paella and we both thought is was the best we had ever had. The restaurant is small and intimate and the service was very good also.
We had a pretty late seating on a Sunday night. The restaurant was very quiet which was nice. However, the open table said nothing was available until late and clearly we vould have come in much earlier. There were only two other tables occupied in the dining room. But that is not the restaurant's fault. We had very good service and enjoyed a nice meal. The gnocchi was not great but it was eatable. The seafood linguine was full of good seafood and was plentiful.
It was our first night in Calistoga and we were looking for a casual and nice place for dinner. Calistoga Inn was just what we were looking for! I had the short ribs and my husband had the lambchop. Food was very good and portions were hearty! I would certainly return next time we are in town.
First time here, in Calistoga for a couple of nights. Had the salmon and the steak. Both were very good serving size was plentiful (took a bit home). Friendly staff. Price was reasonable for the area.
Great quick overnight & lovely dinner.
We enjoyed our lunch at the Calistoga inn. Everyone in our party of 5 was pleased with their meal selection. I had the salmon with french fries. The salmon was well prepared and there was a generous portion of french fries that we all shared. The service was very prompt and everyone got what they ordered. We agreed that it was a good restaurant choice and would be happy to return.
Th Food was Great, had a very rude ordeal with the bartender, I asked for a Tom Collins and he did not know how to make it so he asked how to make it when I began to tell him he made a very rude remark to my wife and walked away and never came back to take our order, after that incident two other couples left the bar, this happened on Saturday February 17th around 7:15 pm not a very customer friendly Bartender I will never go to the bar again if he is present
We always enjoy ourselves there.....!!!
Excellent service and high quality food in a quaint setting. My wife’s first time dining here. We were both very pleased and intend to come back. Lovely outdoor dining area also when the season is right
Marvelous Mardi Gras evening. Delicious dinner of Jambalaya and bread pudding, outstanding Cajun band - Wild Catahoulas and great ambience. Be sure to catch it next year!
Good wholesome food . Pleasant ambience .
What a beautiful setting on the Napa River, outdoors is the way to go. Food was fresh and amazing.
Nice evening to sit outside and a very cold beer were the highlights. Unfortunately the food was only so-so.
Great for casual lunch or meal. Try the garlic fries.
Great place to eat! We try to at least go to dinner at the Inn once a week. Excellent food and great service.
Wonderful 3 course meal and the staff was amazing!! I would definitely come back!!
A great setting with very good service and excellent food.
Food excellent. Staff was outstanding. We had the pleasure of working with Archie
My family always enjoys the Calistoga Inn. Food is always good -loved the Apple Crisp desert.
We enjoyed a very nice meal here. Started off with the Pacific oysters which were very fresh and oh so good. For the main course, my wife had the salmon and I had the Chicken Abruzzi, both were delicious. The Porter ale was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back.
New yeas eve dinner. Food and service was really good. Got a table by the kitchen door. Pretty loud, but expected for New Year's eve.
Had an early New Year’s Eve dinner. Restaurant was not crowded. Service was fair, at best, food was ok. Brussel sprouts were amazing, but the tortilla soup was awful. It tasted like red enchilada sauce, I would not recommend it. Construction is going on right outside the restaurant.
Food was excellent. Great service. Quiet. Highly recommend.
The Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery is a great place for a quiet romantic dinner. The food was good and service was great. It was our second visit to the restaurant and we were not disappointed both times.
Charm, charm , charm both inside and out. The food, ambiance and service always shines. Their dining room is understated and charming, while the outside patio is the best around for alfresco dining. We’ve been in the Valley 30+ years and this is one of our favorite go to places.
Food was great, wine I felt was overpriced given it is in Napa. Very dissappointed I had put in a note request for a surprise birthday dessert given we were there to celebrate my mom's 60th but it was totally ignored and I left very dissappointed by the service.
First, the all-star of Calistoga Inn was the food - wowza! It was so good, that the only downside is that we got full and eventually had to stop eating it. It was off the charts good - scallops and pallalla were top notch. It is a darling, charming restaurant and very romantic. We were sitting by a few couples that were loudly watching a football game which took away from some of the ambience, but we still had a great time.
Delighted to be there on Christmas Eve. The scallop risotto dish on the special menu that night was one of the best dishes I've ever had--really delicious. Also the persimmon/endive/frisee/etc salad--excellent ingredients and prep. Atmosphere is lively, not too loud, convivial. Very good service and an all-around happy experience. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic. Quite busy on Christmas eve, but just a wonderful experience. Our party was 8, all had different entrees, and all were superb. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was excellent also. Highly recommended!
Delicious food including new items on the menu that have been added to their well know specials. A well stocked bar. Good service by very likable and efficient servers. Family friendly.
Good quality food, decent wine list, clean dining room, and friendly service. We've dined here twice, once in the dining room this week and once on the patio in July 2017. While we did not stay here they are also an Inn with rooms upstairs.
The bartender (I wish I had his name) was great. Extremely friendly. The turkey/Brie sandwich was amazing. I could have ate two.
