We had a enjoyable experience at Calistoga Inn last Saturday night . The service and food were excellent ! We will be back .
We sat outside and it was wonderful food and service were the best
My husband and I went here for brunch on Saturday morning and it was awesome. The food, weather and surroundings were great. It was the first warm Spring Saturday of the year so we sat out on the beautiful patio. We both enjoyed the corned beef. I had the Ruben sandwich with garlic fries and my husband had the hash. Both were excellent. We also indulged in a post lunch panna cotta, super yum. My husband enjoyed a couple of the house beers but I was the designated driver so no artisanal cocktails for me. That's ok we both had such a great time we plan to go back to try their dinner menu and we will brunch again
Quiet, evening, indoor dining experience. Staff (Manager, Hostess, and Waiter) attentive, food & wine selection very good. The atmosphere is pleasant. We will definitely dine here again.
Note: Patrons should not be turned off by current road/bridge construction out front of Inn & Restaurant, inside and patio dining is pleasant with limited noise.
Good value, outstanding, hospitable service, high quality cuisine, and hearty portions. We always enjoy going to Calistoga Inn!
This a great restaurant for outdoor dining. Food is always good. One of my favorites in Calistoga.
Lovely restaurant and excellent food. There was a good variety to suit many different tastes. Service was very good and our wait staff were very attentive. There is construction on Lincoln Street but it did not interfere with ambiance of the patio at all. Occasional street noise (motorcycles) but nothing that hindered conversation.
Dined at Calistoga servel times and always a nice experience. Food and service were very good.
We enjoyed the beer flight and a light meal. Looking forward to returning some day to try other things on the menu. We were able to get a table towards the back where it was quieter. It will be nice once the construction in the front is finished. Not a very nice view. But the atmosphere inside was homey and comfortable.
Just wonderful! The setting, the food, the cocktails, all superb. This spot is a favorite of ours. It never disappoints. Also, they're dog friendly, so it's a big plus to be able to bring the family pooch along.
One word: construction
This place was great! I had the gnocchi and my bf had the pork belly. We loved both of our dishes and the beer. We even went back during our stay and got fries and oysters later on. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Really nice place with delicious food.
Lovely setting, good food, welcoming staff and a water bowl for the dog, what could be better?
Light dinner for two was fabulous—romantic table creekside on the patio, with twinkling lights adding to the ambiance. The peanut butter pie for dessert was to die for—definitely on my short list of things I would eat for my last meal!
My two Aunts and I were seated outside
In the beautiful patio , we each had delicious meals with wonderful service from our waiter Jose. We will definitley come back again. Highly recommended for ALL Occasions!!!

Our stay overall was very comfortable, which was made possible by the beautiful ambiance of the inn as well as the accommodating room service. If given another opportunity, we would stay here again.
There were a few things which lead us to rate our stay as 4 stars, however. The walls seemed to be fairly thin, as we could clearly hear people around us roaming about and speaking at night. The noise level is therefore a bit higher than one would expect at a typical chain hotel such as Mariott or Best Western. There is also the issue of lighting in the shared bathroom - and particularly the showers. The lights were motion - controlled, so they naturally turned off after a short period of inactivity. This proved to be a problem on multiple occasions, when we took a shower that lasted longer than ~20 minutes. If we had manually - controlled lighting available in the shower rooms, or even in the entire bathroom, the lights wouldn't have shut off on us.
But overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The indoor dining room offered a nice ambience for a quiet meal. We enjoyed the food greatly including the great Dungeness crab cakes and the polenta. I had a tasty house cocktail but my husband was quite disappointed with the poor selection of tap brews, especially since the restaurant touts its beer. There was only one IPA and it was a special IPA with Rye, giving a more wheaty taste. That aside, we would definitely return to try out other food options.
The food and service were very good. We especially like the atmosphere, the hotel and bar are very authentic. Old fashioned bar and atmosphere is what we like.
Sunday lunch/brunch. Casual, quiet. Great experience
Very good place for dinner or lunch. Nice beer selection. Good for a date or dinner with friends.
Not what I expected. There's construction going on, though that didn't hinder us. We were seated ahead of time, which was fine, in a garden area with zero appeal save the sunshine. For being connected to a "brewery," beer selection was limited. My hub did enjoy his RyePA. My tortilla soup was delightful, everyone enjoyed tasting it. Ask for a cup if you don't want a bowl. The seafood pasta was fishy, the burger was just a burger. The garlic fries were ok, as was the lemon ice box pie. The $105 bill was extraordinary for such ordinary dining. Service was ok for a slow lunch time, though our young lady server was sweet, when she came around.
Very nice place with great food, service and drinks
St. Pat's Day Dinner was delicious! The brisket was tender and not salty. The mashed potatoes were creamy and perfectly seasoned. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and were happy to experience a bit of Ireland with the music and food. By the way, the beer bread was yummy!
Calistoga Inn is a staple. Unfortunate that the prices just keep going up and up without any noticeable change in quality or quantity. For example- a plain Caesar Salad is priced at $17.00 when it should be more like $12 to $14.
We were staying in calistoga and the menu looked good on line. It was quiet so we could talk which is very important to us. Husband had a good pizza and i had a delicious seafood fetuccini dish. Great salad too. I would go back.
This was an amazing Valentine’s Day present date with the love of my life had a wonderful time
The restaurant decor was very open and there was a lot of light, very cute. The food was great - loved the roasted brussel sprouts and winter risotto! Service was super quick and very attentive.
My wife and I ate here while on vacation and the food was fantastic! She had the gnocchi and I had the paella and we both thought is was the best we had ever had. The restaurant is small and intimate and the service was very good also.
We had a pretty late seating on a Sunday night. The restaurant was very quiet which was nice. However, the open table said nothing was available until late and clearly we vould have come in much earlier. There were only two other tables occupied in the dining room. But that is not the restaurant's fault. We had very good service and enjoyed a nice meal. The gnocchi was not great but it was eatable. The seafood linguine was full of good seafood and was plentiful.
It was our first night in Calistoga and we were looking for a casual and nice place for dinner. Calistoga Inn was just what we were looking for! I had the short ribs and my husband had the lambchop. Food was very good and portions were hearty! I would certainly return next time we are in town.
First time here, in Calistoga for a couple of nights. Had the salmon and the steak. Both were very good serving size was plentiful (took a bit home). Friendly staff. Price was reasonable for the area.
Great quick overnight & lovely dinner.
We enjoyed our lunch at the Calistoga inn. Everyone in our party of 5 was pleased with their meal selection. I had the salmon with french fries. The salmon was well prepared and there was a generous portion of french fries that we all shared. The service was very prompt and everyone got what they ordered. We agreed that it was a good restaurant choice and would be happy to return.
Th Food was Great, had a very rude ordeal with the bartender, I asked for a Tom Collins and he did not know how to make it so he asked how to make it when I began to tell him he made a very rude remark to my wife and walked away and never came back to take our order, after that incident two other couples left the bar, this happened on Saturday February 17th around 7:15 pm not a very customer friendly Bartender I will never go to the bar again if he is present
We always enjoy ourselves there.....!!!
Excellent service and high quality food in a quaint setting. My wife’s first time dining here. We were both very pleased and intend to come back. Lovely outdoor dining area also when the season is right
Marvelous Mardi Gras evening. Delicious dinner of Jambalaya and bread pudding, outstanding Cajun band - Wild Catahoulas and great ambience. Be sure to catch it next year!
Good wholesome food . Pleasant ambience .
What a beautiful setting on the Napa River, outdoors is the way to go. Food was fresh and amazing.
Nice evening to sit outside and a very cold beer were the highlights. Unfortunately the food was only so-so.
