We don't get to Caleb's nearly as often as we should, but it hits all the marks every time we visit. Our party of four was promptly and courteously seated on a Friday night, wine poured, and our pleasant server soon appeared to talk about additions to the menu. He was patient as our group took time to converse and enjoy our wine before being ready to order, and he was helpful in describing each item on the menu, his recommendations, etc. All four meals were exquisitely prepared, and we all agreed that the eggplant/mozzarella appetizer was a huge winner. The owner stopped by--as he customarily does--to make sure that all was ok, a very nice touch. And he graciously provided free chocolate liquer after-dinner drinks, another thoughtful (and tasty) gesture. We were not rushed in any way, despite lingering for a while and enjoying the ambiance, and we all look forward to our next visit.
We have enjoyed breakfasts at Caleb's for a long time. We decided to try dinner and were extremely pleased! The food was delicious and the servers were pleasant and informative. Caleb was an outstanding host. We will dine here for dinner again!
This was the second time I’ve been here and the food was great! I will definitely be back.
Second time dinning here. Food was great both times. Definitely recommend
As always, excellent menu. Wonderful presentation and great service.
Went for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal. Great price fixed menu for the night. Friendly staff and great service, we will definitely go back.
exemplary food with hands on engaged owner, absolute jewel . consistently superior cuisine no matter the occasion
Another wonderful meal at Caleb's! I had the braised short-ribs grilled cheese and the Cowboy Porkchop. Both were excellent! I particularly enjoy Caleb's table side visits and special treats. If you haven't eaten at Caleb's American Kitchen you need to make it a destination!
Always a favorite, the addition of valet parking is a plus
Loved the salmon. Substituted mashed potatoes for rice - sooo good. Flourless chocolate cake was delicious.
Food was excellent, except for desert … which when the server noticed that it wasn’t eaten took it of the bill.
Will definitely go back!
Caleb's is one of my favorite restaurants in our area. Menu is always interesting, choices are freshly prepared and delicious, portions are ample, staff and owner are friendly and attentive. It is a BYO. A very pleasant dining experience.
What a great first visit! We enjoyed the food, service, and location.
Food and ambiance were wonderful. The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful in explaining the menu and specials.
All five of us ordered something different and each of us enjoyed our meals. The restaurant accommodated those of our group requiring vegan, gluten free and allergy-friendly options.
We always enjoy our visits to Calebs!! The staff is delightful and the food is consistently delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. We consider Calebs to be “our” neighborhood gathering spot!
As usual, a Great dining experience. Mark, our server is funny and knowledgeable.
Our favorite BYOB....A MUST GO TO PLACE TO DINE IN NEW HOPE.
Best food and host. Personalized and fun.
I love this place so I keep going back. The food is consistently good and creative. The service has been attentive each time!
Caleb's is always a treat and we are big fans. We love all THREE of the meals they serve--- breakfast, lunch and dinner! It is always full of happy people enjoying the inventive food, the friendly service and the stylish, comforting decor. On weekend nights, the place is especially packed with multiple generations having a grand time. There are often many larger groups (6-ish) because people find it a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. We love that the menu changes; there are always several entrees that we are drawn to, making it hard to choose. The seasonal nature of the menu is also terrific, sensitive to the bounty of neighboring farms.
Locals Night , Burger Night , and the admirable Friend of the Farmer evenings are a big draw, for good reason. Both are yummy, inventive and fun!
We deeply admire the commitment of the owner/chef Caleb. He is tireless, charming, and fully committed to making his restaurant a great success. His rare talents and winning personality have made it all work. Bravo !!
Out with friends. Service was good. Didn’t feel rushed. BYO is awesome. A little spends for the portions, but good.
Loved the complimentary limoncello they brought out at the end.
This was our second time at Caleb's. We had heard about their 'Locals Night' from a friend, so we wanted to try it ourselves. We went with another couple, and were pleased to find many menu options from which to choose. The total meal for each person was only $24 and included soup or salad, entree and dessert. My husband had the Ahi tuna and I had the roast turkey dinner. All the food was fresh and deliciously prepared. Our waiter, Mark, was funny, attentive and efficient. We'll definitely be going back to Caleb's again soon!
This is the 3rd time I have been to Caleb's in the past month and each time the food and the service have been wonderful. Our server this time was fantastic. We were waiting for a friend who was running late and the server told us not to worry they wouldn't rush us out the door and they did not. Not always the case when we go out on a Monday night. The pre-fixed menu was a surprise but had plenty of options and very filling.
We will definitely be back, especially for burger night on Tuesday's.
Great local spot for us, and consistently fresh and creative food for brunch or dinner. Our server was just attentive enough, and personable too. The salads were great and large enough to share, and our crab mini tacos were stuffed with high-quality crabmeat. My BBQ shrimp was a very flavorful lighter entree, and the cheddar grits fine although a bit runny. My partner went with the new lamb shank enteee, and he was very pleased. We like to try new places but are happy to have in our backyard.
Burger night Tuesdays is great. However keep in mind that fries cost additional.
Excellent place a great find. Sits on the fringe of Peddlers Village.
We have eaten at Caleb’s multiple times and this was our first disappointment. The food was not up to par in three of our four meals. The veggies were tasteless and the rice tasted very strange. Just hoping it was an off night on a Sunday?
Maybe Caleb was not cooking may be my guess.
The food is very good and the fact that this is a chef - owned restaurant is evident in the care taken in the quality and presentation of the meal. The portions are large, especially the salads. The bread is fabulous.
Great food had by all, wonderful service and good value. Lower room is a bit noisy.
Fun. Quality. Creative presentation.Great service. Great food.
