Caleb's American Kitchen
Adjacent to Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, PA, Caleb's is open daily for breakfast, lunch and for dinner. Currently accepting reservations for dinner only.
Caleb's was very accommodating when we called the night before our reservation and needed to change how many in our party. We were seated promptly, the service was friendly and the food was excellent! Would happily recommend to our friends.
Our food was very good, but the meals at our table were served at different times. My daughter was probably served at least 5 minutes later than my breakfast arrived.
Food was exceptional but volume in room was hard to communicate with person next to us. Service very good. Loved the eggplant and mozzarella. Salmon so good! Definitely try!
They had a table ready for us upon arrival.
Food and service was very good. Decor is plain, simple, and has a clean look to it.
My only complaints were parking and seating. Since they're essentially part of Peddlers Village, parking can be a nightmare. More notably though the seating in the restaurant was cramped. We had less than a foot of space between us and the couple at the table next to us. It was a little awkward at first but we settled in.
Date with my hubby! Love, love, love this local gem. Farm to table excellence with new items to stave off boredom. Always accommodating to needs.
Excellent food and service.
As I have experienced many times and even though I now live in CT, I believe that Caleb's is the best restaurant in the area...it's simply great food and great service!
Our first time at Caleb's. Nice menu and food was great. chef took time to come to ask about our meal.
We were 6 people and felt very pushed together. I think it is fine for up to four people. It was also quite noisy, but it was peak time.
Delicious and fun approach to food. Lobster rolls particularly fun to share.
Absolutely my favourite local restaurant for special occasions, great food, entertaining out of town guests and just having a Tuesday burger. Every time I come here, I try something different and it's always delicious and perfectly prepared. The service is always friendly and we love that it's BYOB. Reservations are necessary. They always seem to be busy.
The food was exceptional, service professional and attentive. Contemporary surroundings were very agreeable, the only downside is the noise level. Great place to dine, period.
Excellent food and service !!! Everything about our experience was wonderful.
The food was delicious and had great and unique flavors
Very nice dining room setting as well
Staff was friendly and helpful
Reasonable prices for the food quality and quantity that you received
I would highly recommend Caleb’s
Fabulous! Fabulous every time- highly recommend Caleb’s. We’re so lucky to live in the area!
Always look forward to brunch/dinner at Caleb’s. It never disappoints. Our waiter was attentive and easy going personality.
Consistently good food and small touches to make a memorable meal. Highly recommend but make sure you have a reservation on a weekend or you will never get in. One of our favorite spots for celebrations!
The second you walk in, you are greeted by the chef/owner. You are made to feel welcome immediately. The food, service, hospitality, everything is absolutely top notch. Cant wait to go back again.
The food was excellent and the service was top notch - I'd go back in a heartbeat!
Very good meal as always.
consistently good food and service. friendly staff and always accommodating. great BYOB
Dinner was awesome!
Service was great!
Always enjoy doing at Caleb’s/ great service and great food!
Fantastic!! Caleb and staff do an outstanding job of making your visit simply perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Caleb's and our server was very attentive! However, one of us ordered the Beet Salad and requested Salmon with the salad. Server mentioned he would check with Caleb but did't see it to be a problem. However, when all of our food came out, the Beet Salad was last and there was no Salmon. When asked, the server told us that the chef will not put a protein with the salad! It would have been nice have known this prior to food being brought, as she would have reselected her dish. We would have absolutely paid to have the protein added.....
I took a chance and booked this reservation through open table. The reviews and the menu sold me. The experience itself was better than my expectations, and they were high.
The three of us enjoyed our lunches completely. Every bite was magical. I will certainly go back even though it’s an hour away from where I live.
I had the turkey burger with bacon marmalade and am egg. Amazing!!!
We truly enjoyed our dinner experience. This was a Birthday celebration and the waitress was made aware. She did nothing special for me. Perhaps a candle on my dessert would have made it a little more memorable. :-(
It was still a nice evening.
Friends of ours had never been to Caleb's, so we took them there for Sunday breakfast. Definitely a great place for breakfast, and a great value. Make sure you call for a reservation, though. Without one, even at 9:45am, we'd not have had a table. That's how great their food is! J.L., Lumberville, PA
Caleb’s has amazing brunch. Always enjoy eating here. Parking is tough but the lot right across the street isn’t that far when their lots fill up.
They do a very brisk Sunday Brunch and you can understand why. Pumpkin pancakes, frittata, eggs benedict, French toast were all delicious. We had a reservation and even though it was very crowded, our table was ready for immediate seating.
Food was great. I was amazed how well I could hear in the large, full, open dining room! They definitely paid attention to acoustics in the dining room which made for a very pleasant experience!
Food here used to be much better. Menu hasn't changed in awhile and my salmon, although I asked for medium rare was over cooked. Service was excellent, but don't think I'd go back again.
This is my absolute new favorite place in the New Hope/Peddler's Village area. My husband and I went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was incredible. We still have not stopped talking about the food. We had the special of the day soup, which was a pureed carrot soup with ginger and coconut; probably the best soup I've ever had. We had the house salad which was a mixture of I think turnip greens, radishes and a few other things and a very light dressing that enabled you to actually TASTE the vegetables in the salad, not overpower them. Perfect! My husband had the evening special which was curried monk fish and mussels with bok choy. My husband and I are not fans of curry, but this was a light sweet Asian curry, and it was delicious! I had the crab cakes with sweet potatoes, brussels and apple slaw, and honey mustard remoulade. I was in heaven. The best part about this meal was everything was healthy, locally sourced, and the price was very good for the area. The portions were perfect as well.
Our server (wish I could remember her name!) was fantastic. She went over and above to make sure we would be good with what we ordered, and followed up later without being intrusive. One minor thing was that I had mentioned on my OpenTable reservation was that this was for our anniversary. While the host wished us happy anniversary, he proceeded to put us at a table right next to the front door - not very conducive for a romantic anniversary dinner. I pointed that out to him, and he admitted that was was not a good choice and gave us a better table. Props for correcting; he was younger and that may not be a priority for his age! :)
It is also a beautiful, picturesque atmosphere. Windows all around and nice artwork on the walls make for a very pleasant dining experience. It's a BYOB. We don't drink so that wasn't an issue for us. They bring water to the table in very pretty bottle. Nice touch.
We will definitely be back! Thanks!
Food was good . Server was sweet but very new , Long wait for food , got wrong salads and no dressing . Preferred novice server to mean waitress we had during one of our visits . Keep returning because the food is always delicious . Always temperature too warm in restaurant . Food is always great and love the complimentary aperitif. Nice touch .
The food and service were both exceptional!
Food and service was excellent!
Remains one of our favorite restaurants. You can always find something interesting to eat, whether for an entire meal or just soup, salad, sandwich! Always fresh with use of local farms.
