Caleb's American Kitchen
Adjacent to Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, PA, Caleb's is open daily for breakfast, lunch and for dinner. Currently accepting reservations for dinner only.
We enjoy coming here for breakfast and lunch. Good food, love the homemade potato chips.
The best place for what it serves!! Great food , good staff and good neighbor !!!!!
We love the food at Caleb's but lately we haven't had a great experience. Last time we were there we had to wait 40 minutes for our food and when it arrived one of the main dishes was wrong. So we had to wait another 20 minutes for it. Sadly the longer waiting times are becoming the standard on busy nights. Too bad, the food is great and the menu selection is lovely.
Our experience at Caleb’s is consistently excellent. Dan our server was a delight and provided exceptional service and great menu guidance. We’ll be back!
Wonderful dining opportunities, competent & friendly staff! We have enjoyed dinner on locals night and regular evening menu, as well as brunch.
CAK offers a modern, casual feeling with friendly and professional staff and fresh, delicious food. We live a half-hour away and had driven by the restaurant but a search through OT reminded us to give it a try, and we are glad that we did. Judging from the busy tables before and after our stay, many people agree.
First off, the restaurant is BYO only, which I must have overlooked on the OT app. Fortunately, the host directed us to an adequate if uninventive wine shop a few miles away.
Our waiter, Johnathan, was polite, professional, and attentive. All of the other staff seemed equally well-trained and customer-centric.
Our dinner consisted of lobster rolls (nice, but a tad greasy and not crisp), tuna poke (delicious, with house-made chips), Duck ( perfect in every way), Veal Meatloaf (light and very flavorful) and a peach crumble for dessert (a fresh and perfect ending to a good meal). Even their coffee was uniquely brewed and flavorful.
We will absolutely return to Caleb's in the near future.
Greeted at the door and seated immediately. Excellent description of the day's specials after settling in with the menu. Well-paced dinner and great meal of wall-eye special and crab cakes this evening. Peach crumb dessert with ice cream was an great finish to the night!
Food is local sourced and delicious. Wait staff is friendly and informed. The noise level is quite high and therefore not recommended for quiet romantic evening.
I HIGHLY recomend Caleb's restaurant. The decor is contemporary and very tasteful, the restaurant is exceedingly clean, the service excellent, the food is fresh and extremely delicious, and the pricing reasonable. Caleb's uses many ingredients that are local, and we always enjoy a BYO option. Most importantly, my nephew has a VERY serious dairy allergy, and we felt completely safe eating in the restaurant. Caleb was very reassuring, as was the server. Caleb's also has many GF options for myself. Caleb's is our local 'go to' restaurant! Give it a try - and you will go back!
We went out with our parents, who are notoriously picky about food and restaurants, but we had a crowdpleaser at Caleb's! The menu has some familiar options like grilled salmon and chicken casserole (which was good for the more traditional palates) as well as some adventurous "foodie" meals and a nice selection of vegetarian dishes (for the ones looking for something new and interesting.) Service was quick, friendly, and very accommodating of our tight schedule. Lovely, greenhouse-like interior with a lot of natural light and lively chatter. And it's a BYOB, so bring your favorite wine or beer without the hefty bar tab! Definitely one of the better experiences we've had in New Hope.
Great food, happy Staff. Clean and crisp environment
Another great meal on a reasonably quiet Thursday evening. Fresh selections, delicious flavor pairings and good attentive service. I have never had a bad meal at Caleb’s and have eaten here numerous times over the past few years.
Good food is to be found at this nice little Bucks County B.Y.O.B., just adjacent to the famous Peddlers' Village. Quite popular with the locals .
The entrees were excellent. Salad was very good. Seafood in the soup was sparse. Overall the meal was excellent and good value.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Caleb’s. Starting with the peach gazpacho and eggplant mozzarella appetizers and ending with the blonde sundae we had a perfect meal. My entree was the crab cakes which were outstanding. My husband had the short rib and brisket burger which was the best burger he ever had. We will absolutely return to Caleb’s.
Hands down, one of our very favorite restaurants. We live almost an hour away so we don't get to Caleb's nearly as often as we would like, but whenever we do go, it is consistently completely perfect! Service is great, food fresh and cooked to perfection. We love Caleb's!
We went for locals night, pre-fixe at $26 for three courses, an excellent value! One diner had to eat gluten free. Our waitress was well informed and explained all their GF options. The service was excellent along with our meal. Although noisy at times, we highly recommend this restaurant.
great food and great servers! would definitely go again :)
We love Calebs...breakfast is very good. The french toast and pancakes are the best we have ever found. The breakfast menu has something for everyone
Food was good however our appetizers were delivered to another table that came in after us. We knew it because it was the same things we ordered but the other table sent one back because it was not what they ordered when we asked our waitress about it she didn’t acknowledge the mistake and went and checked on our order would have been happier if they acknowledge the error. Will still go back because the food is always good
Great evening and excellent food and service. Will return and recommend.
Caleb’s is an excellent dining experience. We had friends in from out of town and wanted to stay close. Caleb’s was perfect. BYOB we had our own Prosecco and dinner wine (no cork fee!!). Apps were delish!! Served hot and very tasty and portioned so it did not completely fill you up. Enjoyed warm bread with olive oil dipping dish as well. Enter was outstanding. I had Salmon dish and it was wonderful. Caleb actually was mingling with guests all evening and shared lemon chelo dessert shots with us after our meal. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend reservations. Caleb’s is in our top 5 places to dine between New Hope and Lambertville. Highly recommend
Consistently excellent food, service and vibe. The daily special is always interesting.
Excellent Service. Fresh unique food.
Caleb's is where you want to go for consistently great food and service. No matter what you choose from the menu you will not be disappointed.
Excellent price and service. Salad portion too large and Cobb dressing did not have much flavor. Burger and Rubin excellent.
Very nice champagne service.
Teach bus boy how to clean tables with sanitized towel, and chairs with separate towel.
I enjoy brunch and lunch much more! Dinner menu is very limited.
I always enjoy my food at Caleb's. I am a vegetarian, so I really appreciate that they have some imaginative vegetarian entree options. That truly is not a common thing. I miss the seitan entree, but the new eggplant entree was delicious!
Great table, good service and tasty food.
Just wish there were more vegtarian options
Fresh food and pretty presentation
Love this place for breakfast or lunch. Food is always fresh and delicious and the service is alway
Wonderful!!!! The menu had a nice variety. We were seated by Caleb himself, very friendly and welcoming. We had short rib grilled cheese, delicious salad then salmon. We skipped dessert but it sounded good! Will definitely go back.
Everything was superb! The gazpacho was fresh and full of flavor, cool and refreshing. Next the mushrooms were hot cheesy and scrumptious. We then shared a salad. Everything had its own wonderful flavor and bursts of flavor. Our main course was steak and crab cakes.
Caleb personally seats you and wants to make sure you’re happy before he leaves. This restaurant is amazing! Casual, special occasion, it’s a must.
Holene was our first waitress there and she set the stage for wonderful treatment and dining experience
Wonderful meal. Terrific sever. Thanks so much. I have eaten there before and ebjoyed enormously. First time for friends whom we brought. They were very impressed and loved it.
Exceptional breakfast experience. Omelettes, specialty pancakes: nothing ordinary, everything extraordinary. The wait staff were as polished and professional as if we were spending $50+ per entree at dinner. So glad we found this jewel.
I was there with friends I had not seen in a long time. Our server let us chat and was very accommodating a did not hurry us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I order salmon a lot when I go out and Caleb's was one of the best. My other friend had the crabcakes which again were excellent. The highlight of the evening was the incredible key lime pie. We definately will be back again.
Their BLT is fabulous! Service is so attentive! Lovely ambience.
I have dined at Caleb's for lunch and dinner many times. The last time I was there for dinner in March (on my birthday) the server was miserable. I asked for something in connection with my order and she asked me "are you satisfied with your order now?"! In addition, she was clearly irritated when we asked for water refills as could not find the person who was responsible for water refills. In addition, we brought a birthday cake for dessert and she never asked if we wanted any additional dessert, coffee or tea. This visit our server was very good but it took forever for our dinner to be served. When I checked on our dinner (the next table of 4 came after us and was served a long time before us) the server said he could not understand why the next table was served and commented that they asked to be served quickly as they had to be somewhere. Again, we brought a cake. The cake was not put on a serving plate and we were charged $3.50 per person this time. Given the long time we waited for our meals I think the right thing to do would've been to offer coffee or something. He never asked if we wanted any additional dessert, coffee or tea. We were a party of 8 and for the most part the food was very good, but the grilled salmon
was hardly grilled and the avocado that was supposed to be in the dish was almost non existent.
