The atmosphere and service was great. Caleb’s is my favorite go to for lunch and brunch. I was a little disappointed in the quality of dinner. My past experience has always been the freshest veggies are used. This time I felt the carrots were tasteless. Just shirt if other meals I have had here

I had a business lunch at Caleb's and found it to be exceptional. Fresh, carefully prepared food in a bright, and airy space. Service was completely professional. It pleased my contact, who was local, and, as it turns out, consider's Caleb's a family favorite. This is a cut above the rest in Lahaska and New Hope for fresh, locally-sourced and carefully prepared food. i will be back.

We had what was probably our fifth or sixth brunch at Caleb's. The food has always been outstanding but the wait staff are also highly attentive and friendly. I would go back every Sunday if I could. Make sure you get reservations!

Food was very good although the soup could have been hotter. We never mentioned the temperature of the soup because from the moment our waitress came to our table she seemed annoyed. Maybe it was an off night for her, but she just was miserable. We smiled and thanked her each time she brought us something but she was almost growling. Would go back but hopefully will get someone else to wait on us.

A return visit after several years has us wondering why we waited so long. Service was warm, welcoming and attentive. Entrees were interesting, creative and very tasty. Crabcakes and beef tips were very good; the salads and sides made them even better. Ask for more NOLA remoulade for crabcakes and remember the restaurant is BYOB.

Excellent service, above average food. The special had cheddar mashed potatoes but were actually horseradish, which I don’t care for. Replacement was regular mashed potatoes. Don’t understand how they ran out when they served the other part of the special? Patio room is drafty on a cold night. While I give the restaurant a B+ I don’t find myself dying to go back.

Service was the killer. Our server was not nice. It felt like we were bothering him by just being there. It was a special birthday celebration lunch and it was totally soured by the server. We couldn’t wait to leave. The whole birthday was ruined as we sat there and just couldn’t believe we had to pay to be treated like invisible diners. They didn’t have enough staff to cover all of the needs of the restaurant and everyone was running around like a maniac. It was really annoying and really bad service. We asked for dessert menus to try and feel like we celebrated something and after waiting 10 minutes!!!! we got up, walked to the front to beg for our check, and left. We won’t go back. What a waste of a nice day and a waste of money!

I was very disappointed in the menu - I didn’t realize that on Mondays the menu was so limited. The only item that intrigued me was an addition to the limited menu - a crab stuffed lobster tail. It was good, but the entire entree came out ice cold. Our waitress felt bad that we were disappointed in the menu, so she did her best to accommodate us. We also tried all three desserts offered on the limited menu - not impressed.

This experience was a great departure from my first experience at Caleb’s. That visit was exceptional.

This was our first visit to Caleb’s. We chose it for a casual birthday lunch & it’s location is a halfway point from our homes north & south. It was a happy experience! We enjoyed the light & casual interior & modern comfortable chairs. Our server was friendly and attentive. Menu has many choices for any palate. Each of our meals arrived beautifully presented and fresh. The quiche & Fritatta were very grand!! Avocado toast got great reviews! We noticed that the meals the surrounding patrons were enjoying all looked so delicious~we decided we have to return to try some others! The lit candle on dessert was a festive touch! Thanks to everyone @ Caleb’s for making it a wonderful celebration! Caleb’s may become our standard halfway meeting place!

We had a wonderful breakfast here!! The omelette was cooked perfectly. The potatoes that come with it were delicious. The buttermilk pancakes are to die for!! We had wonderful service and the setting is beautiful. The place has a lot of big windows all around which makes it feel open and airy and bright.

the Valentine's menu was very different. While not a seafood eater, I had a unique vegetarian dish.
Our server was outstanding. He really could not have been more gracious and prompt in his service. I find everyone here to be terrific. I'm sure we'll be back.

The prefix was poorly prepared. Lobster Tail was under cooked and they never brought the drawn butter. The filet mignons were ordered medium rare and were served medium well to well done. VERY disappointing especially at $65/person. Dessert was excellent.

Disappointing Valentine’s dinner at Caleb’s. We eat here regularly and so expected to enjoy the same quality of food and service we normally enjoy at Caleb’s. The service and hospitality, as usual, was exceptional. The food, however, was not up to normal standards. Both of my lobster tails were undercooked - still quite translucent and rubbery with cold crabmeat stuffing on top and served with cold risotto and vegetables. Our dessert was missing several of the elements that were supposed to be included. We did not feel comfortable bringing any of this to the attention of our server because the couple at the table next to us was so close that they repeatedly interjected themselves into our private conversation. Our server was great— attentive and personable. Overall this meal was not anything near what we have come to expect from a meal at Caleb’s.

Love Caleb’s. Food is delicious with generous portions. Great dining room with lots of windows, perfect for Brunch/lunch.
The service is not always welcoming. We had a 1:30 lunch reservation for 6 this day and the staff obviously was in a hurry to leave. By 2:30 we were made to feel like “it’s time to go. We were asked several times by more than one staff member if there was anything else we wanted and if we were ready for the check. We definitely felt rushed.
