Calamari fra diablo
Calamari filet sautéed in a delicious spicy marinara.
It was amazing!
Great Risotto. Our server was very knowledgeable and the staff was very attentive for our waters. It’s a little to get to and you’ll need valet once you arrive.
Still one of the best kept secrets in Miami dining. We are always treated like family !
Great Restaurant been coming here for yr=ears and it never disappoints!! Always highly recommend, when you are in the Gables it's a must.
Excellent food & great atmosphere to celebrate with my birthday with friends. Thank you!
Always very enjoyable experience! Food and service is amazing 🤩 thank you. Great management.
We had a great time at Caffe Vialetto last Saturday.
The food, as always, was excellent.
Marcelo and his staff (Hugo, Freddy, Jonathan) were wonderful.
I’ve been coming here for many years. I will keep coming back.
PS: The best Cuban coffee in town.
Guava Tuna with Champagne Risotto is a must!
always good service and good food. great atmosphere, beautiful bar
Always an excellent meal! Delicious tuna and short ribs!
Food was authentic but unique, I will definitely be going back!
Short rib ragú was one of the best I’ve had. My first time having Cuban coffee and it was great!
Food was just Average. I liked the vibe of the restaurant but food wasn't good enough to go back.
Let me just say it was my second time there but the first after the pandemic started and I’m impressed. The food was delicious and the waiter was the funniest guy and I wish I remembered his name but I don’t lol the ambiance is chill the staff just made it more lively because we did have a birthday going on. From the drinks to the entrees everything was delicious.
love this place!!!
Love this spot! The pear ravioli and the hogfish risotto are a must!!!
We hadn't been here in at least 20 years and had expectations that the food as recalled would be great. After seated bread and water were brought promptly but bread isn't good, but bruschetta is good. But then nobody came for a long period of time, we almost thought about walking out. Our waiter finally came and was pleasant but said he hasn't worked there for six years and was called into work as a favor. Wine list is lacking, luckily we brought our own wine and corkage was responsible $25. But wine glasses aren't very nice, cheap thick foodservice glasswear. Food was good, nothing to rush back for. Dessert was boring. Although owners seem nice. We can wait another 20 years before returning here. For the prices Zucca a few miles away is far superior.
The evening went sideways for a number of reasons. First and foremost, our waiter Hugo was a pompous, unpleasant sort of fellow who felt that it was unnecessary to comment on and explain the various dishes. I would go so far as to say that he was generally rude to us while lavishing time on the surrounding tables. We were not offered dessert or coffee but had to flag him down to ask. Beyond Mr. Personality, there appeared to be two owners present. One did not move from the bar area but did greet us on the way out. The other again, taking cues from the waiter, made it a point to stop at each table, but ours. It was amusingly painful to watch him literally pass by our table, several times, on his way to socialize with one person after the other, while blatantly ignoring us. The dinner items we selected, on the other hand, were all excellent. Dessert was ok at best. The water boys that were assisting Mr Personality were very helpful and pleasant. They were one of the few highlights of an otherwise forgettable evening. As far as value, we would rate this to be of a generally poor quality. The restaurant had the audacity to automatically charge us an 18% service charge for the miserable service it provided. We informed the waiter that it was outrageous that they would charge such a thing for the service we received. Lastly, the restaurant has its own parking lot, yet feels the need to charge a $6.00 valet fee for allowing us to park. The valet did not even bring us our vehicle as he was the only one working. Overall regrettable evening. We shall endeavor never to make that mistake again!
We enjoyed it but they were out of Diet Coke, gnocchi, and another dish.
This restaurant is one of our favorites. It never leaves us short. Only are for improvement: dessert.
Excellent food and service - the dinner was enhanced by the bar and their famous Old Fashioned
This has been our favorite restaurant in Miami-Dade for many many years now. The food, ambiance and service are second to none! You’ll always find the personal touch of either Ernie or Marcelo, the partners and owners of this great restaurant. One, or both, are always there to greet you and make you feel at home. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered from the menu, since their specials are always too tempting to pass up!
I have been a customer of Caffe Vialetto's forever but I wish I had chosen another place to dine during a pandemic. They are NOT following any COVID-19 protocols - people coming in and out of the kitchen WITHOUT masks, the server of the table next to ours simply took off his mask to chat with them because he knew them, our served picked up a fork from the floor and never washed his hands and proceeded to set up the tables with "clean" silverware and napkins, so yes, you would be cleaning your mouth with a napkin touched my someone who picked something up from the floor during a pandemic and never disinfected. I was really uncomfortable and wanted to leave, then heard a girl near our table complaining about it to the manager and another guy (both seating at the bar with NO masks). My pasta was terrible, shrimp was raw and the food took AN HOUR to come, server not too friendly and seemed in a hurry and the place is simply not clean nor higiene protocols are being followed so I will NEVER be back!
Anthony sold us on the fish and the short ribs - best In town he said. Also told us I would not need a knife. He was correct on both. What he didn’t tell me was how large it was. Could have stopped halfway thru and been satisfied taking the rest home, but being a member of the clean plate club, I finished it. Outstanding. My wife had the hog snapper. She said it the best piece of fish she had had in a very long time. BTW, the ribs paired wonderfully with a Super Tuscan that was on the wine list. No room for dessert. Maybe next time.
Great service with a solid menu and unique specials.
Food and service were excellent
Excellent food and service.
Excellent food and service. Would definitely come back again.
I must say I was quite dissapointed with the place. It is a pretty place and I beleive the owner was there and was very nice.. The waiters were also nice but I had to ask for stuff because they didn't come by. Now, the food was ok at best. we were a party of four and they brought us what appeared to be, a half loaf of bread, maybe one small slice per person. I initially didn't think much of it. We had two of the shrimp appetizers, which were 3 shrimps each. I ordered the special which was risotto with Hog Snapper. It was good, not great, but the portion was so small I wasn't full. My wife noticed and started give me some of hers. She ordered a Fruit di Mare, which only has shrimp and calamari. When I asked the waiter for some more bread, he told me they ran out. Now, this is the first time I leave an Italian restaurant hungry. The place was nice, but it was really expensive for average food with small portions. I really don't understand what the hype is about. With so many other good Italian places around, I can't say I recommend this place nor will I ever go back.
We’ve been going to cafe vialetto for over 12 years. It never disappoints.
Beautiful indoor and outdoor. Amazing food.

As usual over the last 21 years, it was an amazing experience!! We came for Valentine’s dinner- it’s a tradition.
We’ve been dining at Vialetto since it opened and have ALWAYS had the best experience! Ernie & Marcelo treat us like family and Chef Rags always comes to our table to say hello. Vialetto is a special place for us and will always be!
