We had the burrata and the risotto and both were excellent.
Their selection of risottos is fantastic and the menu was moderately priced.
Their service was also very good and the maitre' d was very personable.
We enjoyed our evening very much.
Delicious!!!! Easy to park. Great service.
You can’t go wrong with this restaurant. Amazing food and service every time. Have been going there since it opened in 1999.
Caffe Vialetto continues being one of the most outstanding restaurants in Miami.
The loving and friendly service is unique. AND THE FOOD!!!!!!!! It is impossible to have an entrée at Caffe Vialetto that is not OUTSTANDING.
My favorite restaurant in Miami. Excellent food, amazing owners, very near my home, good ambiance, going to this restaurant for 15 years.
As always a pleasure and you feel at home. The salmon sashimi appetizer is always a winner! The Branzino and the Hop Snapper were fantastic! Great food and Great service always!
The food and service was wonderful. Our out of town guests loved the restaurant and definitely want to return when they visit us next time.
The restaurant just had its 19th year anniversary. I recall when they first opened. I wanted to introduce my husband to this restaurant. We went this Saturday evening for dinner. After all these years, the food and service was as wonderful and delicious as I remember. Ernie greeted us at the door and took a few minutes to show us around and help us find a nice table. He checked on us during our meal too. We noticed he did this with everyone. We had a great evening and really enjoyed the warm and friendly welcome. We will definitely return.
Their ravioli is fabulous and one of my favorite meals in town. They also have excellent risotto and several interesting specials. The servers are efficient, if not the friendliest in town. It's a small unassuming place but the ambiance is romantic. Make sure to reserve and bring cash for the valet.
Found last-minute babysitting and decided to have an impromptu date night with my wife at our favorite spot, and it did not disappoint - as always. The food and service were spectacular.
We always order the “specials” which aren’t really specials as they always have them, just not on the menu: she had the champagne risotto with seared ahi tuna in a guava sauce, and I had the shrimp risotto with yellowtail in the mango sauce. For appetizers we started with Stephen’s Scallops, and the Shrimp nuggets in a spicy guava sauce (and a bottle wine of course). And do not skip out on their house special dessert; a heath bar panacotta concoction that is out of this world.
Caffe Vialetto has such an excellent and attentive staff. We have probably had most of the waiters in the many years going there, and the service is always so spot on. It really is a reflection of the owners. Speaking of the owners, they are always so welcoming when greeting you upon arriving, and are constantly walking around the restaurant talking with the patrons and even sitting down at the table (with the regulars) to have an actual conversation.
We have hosted our Christmas party at Caffe Vialetto, and will be also having our son’s first communion here (as well as future events I am sure).
I can’t say enough good things about the people and the food at Vialetto. Exemplary.
Caffe Vialetto always surprises the visitor with creative and delicious freshly cooked cuisine!
Wonderful food, I noticed a few unique dishes on the menu. Outstandingly customer service!
Great dinner as usual!
Great food and service! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and food was brought out in a timely manner.
Came for a belated Valentine's date night dinner with my wife. Everything was awesome--the food, the atmosphere, everything.
Date night for the day after Valentine's Day. The food was fairly tasty, the wine was nice, and the atmosphere was excellent. The service left something to be desired. It may be due to the fact that they include a mandatory 18% gratuity, even for a party of 2. They evidently don't have to work for a tip since it's built in, so they don't show the same attention as waiters at other restaurants do. Overall, it was a good experience. Not bad, but certainly not great.
Love the raviolis!
Excellent, excellent, and did I mention excellent! I admit we over did it, but hey it’s Mardi Gras so we are like oink oinks. The short ribs amazing as always, not to mention the variety of ravioli. So YUM! But the most interesting dish was our first the Meat Candy. Then we washed all down with a glass of Moscato. Then God for taking a Lyft, we needed to walk it off...Until Easter Viatello!!’
I drive from Broward County because of the amazing food. Best risotto by far, I love the daily fish with risotto specials. Marcelo and Ernie are great host, they make you feel right at home. Well worth my drive!
We had an amazing dinner here as we always do. The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. Always love coming here.
Like always great service & awesome food. Ernie is one of best in the business.
Great service and amazing food. Enjoyed our visit
The food it decadent! The service is great! I recommend it to everyone!!
Still and for many years to come, will be my favorite ALL time restaurant. Hands down no other gets close.
Need to change the menu from open table to reflect today’s prices are about 30 to 40 % higher
While hard to find, the food was a exceptional. You can't go wrong with any of the risottos. The pasta was fresh and delishious. I would go again and highly recommend this restaurant.
Loved everything about it ! .... except they put an 18% gratuity on for 2 and they would have gotten much more had they not. Also I do not get the paying for parking when it appears as though it is their lot. Nevertheless , I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Our meal was excellent. Service was very good. Prices a bit high for entrees.
Excellent food and service. Neighborhood gem. Great Wine list.
The food is wonderful. Some of the best short ribs we have ever had. Our first visit was about 4 years ago and a friend had a food allergy. We were so impressed with the owner and chef coming to the table and asking about the issue and what could/couldn't be used. This time was in celebration of our 13th yr anniversary and again the owner came amd congratulated us as well as a complimentary dessert that melted in our mouths. We don't live in the area so view coming here as a special treat. It really is the whole experience from the amazing food, intimate atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff that go out of their way to make you feel special.
Food was delish! Had a
Great dinner to welcome 2018.
The food was really good. I was disappointed upon arriving and seeing that they only sell wine and beer. In addition, the restaurant is too dark for my taste. Not sure if it’s like that daily or only because it was New Year’s Eve and they had some lights on in the inside. Out waiter was welcoming and attentive at first, but after the food arrived, he never checked in on us. We had to flag him down for desert. Overall a decent experience, but not what I was looking forward for my New Year’s Eve dinner. Not sure I’d go back again. There’s other great ones with better ambience that also sell liquor, which is my personal preference.
Repeat performance!! Excellent everything. Shrimp nuggets and meatballs for the appetizer, yup, great. Tried the "Pear Rockin Ravioli", OMG, just amazing. We'll be back.
loved it as always. Everyone's food came out amazing and the service was outstanding considering we were a very large party that came in at the last second.
This used to be one of my favorite places. This time, not so much. The service was veeeery slow, even though the place was relatively empty. We just wanted to get our wine first, then they could take as long as they need. The wine we ordered was not available, but they did make a recommendation that was good and very similar to what we ordered. the bread was hard and cold, and the tomatoes that are served with it were served in big chunks. Not in smaller pieces like it was before. The food main course was good, fantastic flavor and risotto was just perfect. The desert, however, could've been better.
Food is always consistent. Great special. Friendly atmosphere
My only complaint is the $16 glass of house red Cabernet wine at the bar.
Went to Caffe Vialetto for the first time this evening. We started with the Calamari Fra Diablo, one of the best red sauces I've ever had, very flavorful. Our meals were the Gnocchi and Mady's Chicken - both excellent dishes. We each had two glasses of wine, from a reasonable wine menu, a good selection of "by the glass" and bottles. For dessert, a very untraditional but very yummy Tiramisu. The back lot is valet parking for $5 or you can find something on the street. We were warmly greeted at the door and the staff was helpful and friendly. Yup, we'll be back!!
We have been coming here for a long time. Marked it "neighborhood gem" even though we drive over 40 miles round-trip to dine here, so I also marked it "worth the drive".
