Great dining in quiet neighborhood. Good food and drinks! The service is always great with attentive staff. Parking can be challenging, so plan on arriving a few minutes early to find a spot.
I loved the breakfast here! It was delicious and our server was great. The restaurant itself was very cool and hip and seemed very organic.
We have had a very good experience with the food at Cafe Niche. Unfortunately during this visit the service was not up to par. We ordered two appetizers which the server forgot to order, we ordered three different ways our hamburgers were to be cooked and all of them came out medium well. We also requested a variety of things we didn't want included in the burgers and they all came out the same. We will return to this restaurant because we enjoy the food. The service has to improve significantly or the food won't even bring us back. Service is a very important part of the dining experience.
We went for brunch. We would highly recommend the french toast!
Eve is great! Brunch was a perfect date to take my honey 😊
Great brunch on the patio. Large servings and friendly service.
Sunday brunch on Father’s Day so it was a bit crowded, but we expected that. Service was a bit scattered because of the busy day, but the food was amazing and we had a great time.
What a lovely place, we enjoyed the fresh cuisine and yummy cocktails.
Sweet server, would recommend this neighborhood treasure to all~
Nice and quiet, hip joint. Great service and food was perfect.
Surprisingly affordable for how high quality the food is. Waygu burger is amazing, ahi appetizer with avocado delicious and light, perfectly cooked salmon. Efficient, knowledgable and friendly service from Dennis.
I am not sure what happened...We have LOVED Cafe Niche. I have been here at least a dozen times. The menu has been unique, creative, and delicious. We came for dinner and the menu seemed very much like a lunch menu. My wife got the Cheesesteak sandwich at the recommendation of the waitress. The sandwich was dry and lacked flavor. I got the fish tacos and I like salmon but not really in fish tacos. Needless to say, I will be cautious if I make another reservation to inquire about the menu and the chef.
Sunday Brunch date
The mojitos were terrible. Tasted like straight lemonade with a sprig of spearmint. Stick to the wine. Food was fabulous. But 30 dollars for two glasses of bad mojito brought the 5 rating to a 4.
I loved Cafe Niche and i can’t wait to come back!
Any restaurant coming back from pandemic times has some hurdles to overcome. But Niche has a new chapter coming, and it will be just as delicious
Slightly over- priced for quantity of food. Quality is good.
We love coming here for brunch. It is busy, so the staff does not check in as much as normal.
We had a great experience at Cafe Niche. We started with the tartare. The presentation, quality and flavor were outstanding. We both ordered the burger. It was phenomenal. The apple slaw that accompanied the burger was light, tasty and complimented the burger well. To add to the food and ambience our server was the best. Dennis is very professional, friendly and engaging. He is a real pleasure. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Always a favorite of ours
Friendly staff, good food, cute outdoor patio
Menu is short, simple and delicious! Food came out piping HOT. Service was on the slower end but still overall a great experience.
Great food, atmosphere, and great service. Fantastic place for brunch.
Sad experience. Many items were unavailable. What was available, was not enjoyable. Too bad, used to love this establishment.
Always amazing! My daughter and I always get the same thing. So good. There was a woman having a conversation on speaker phone for most of the time we ate which I found rude but I try to be tolerant and let it go!
Our first time at Caffe Niche was for Easter brunch. The food was really good and we liked our server. Will definitely be back to try dinner.
Had Easter brunch here and it was delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the food was very good. Casual atmosphere with the option of outside seating.
Great food, lovely ambiance
The atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious! I loved their mimosas, would recommend getting the peach one. Will go again!
Highly recommend. Great food, only 15 characters t...
Dinner with a client
My husband and I booked a reservation for Valentines evening at 5:00 PM. The website did not mention anything about a fixed menu for the evening so we were surprised to find out that when we got to our table, the cost was $50 per person. My husband loved the options, but my only concern was that I do not eat meat or seafood so the waitress offered to do the Lobster Mac and Cheese without the lobster. Very kind of her. We each chose an appetizer which was delightful. I had the roasted olives and my husband had tuna tartar. Our next course was the Niche salad which was light and refreshing. My husband had the salmon for his entree and I had the mac and cheese which was served with another salad so I thought that was a little overkill win the lettuce department. My only negative was the blandness of the mac and cheese. It was super thick and flavorless, much like eating flour. It was not very hot either. I ate a portion of it. We each had a dessert after that for which I chose the cheesecake with grapefruit and honey. YUM! My husband had the dark chocolate pudding. We were able to bring in our own bottle of wine for a corking fee which we appreciated. We did not feel rushed and we absolutely loved the music playlist they had going. It was a very delicious meal, minus the mac and cheese part. This was our 2nd visit to the restaurant and we were just as pleased.
I love Cafe niche. This trip I had some of the best french toast I had had for a while! will definitely be returning :)
First time there and it was for Valentine’s. We loved the food and they did an excellent job with COVID precautions. We will definitely be back.
What a perfect valentines dinner and great food! Service was amazing as well. Highly recommend.
Good food, good service, good ambience, and they space their tables apart.
Made me feel safe.
The fish tacos were absolutely scrumptious and I ate every single bit. Dennis was really great and patient with us as I caught up with my friends. The restaurant is really clean and hip. I cannot wait to go there again.
This is one of our favorite downtown SLC restaurants. The food is always great - and the staff are wonderful. It's become an annual tradition to celebrate our grown daughter's birthday lunch at Caffe Niche!
Great neighborhood spot for brunch or afternoon chat.
Always great service, and the food is so amazing
