Very close to Marriott Hotel - very friendly staff and some intrerwdting and different takes in d9ne dishes - recommended!
Enjoyed a fantastic dinner with a group of friends while in town for a volleyball tournament. The restaurant accommodated us with a last minute reservation (thank you open table), the food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Looking forward to our next trip back to SLC and this darling restaurant!
It was an excellent spot for great food and atmosphere while moms unwound after watching hours and hours of their daughters playing volleyball. David was our waiter (twice) and managed of our picky requests with a smile and "absolutely". He even helped push out a woman's car from the snow, who was parked out front!
NOISY. Server never came back to check on food and drinks after serving the dishes. Food average - nothing special.
We loved the pork tenderloin, brucetta, and gnocci as well as our delicious cocktails and wine. The live music was awesome, although I wish they would have played longer into the evening. Our reservation was for 7:45pm and we were initially seated in the adjoining room, but asked to be seated closer to the music, which was thankfully accommodated. Our waiter was sweet, knowledgable, and our food was so good. We would love to make Caffe Molise our go to for future special occasions and evenings out.
Had a very good experience at Caffe Molise. After we were seated a very large and loud group of teenage volleyball players were seated next to us. The staff went out of their way to get us a different and much quieter table. The manager was very apologetic and even comped our appetizer. The food was very good and the service was wonderful and very attentive. We will go back.
Good Italian food, but not amazing (we are spoiled and have lived in Boston, which has the North End and also in Providence, which has Federal Hill). We got the mushroom polenta for an appetizer. It was good, but not amazing. Flavors were a little flat, and everything just tasted like red sauce. I got the pappardelle al sugo, which was very good. The homemade pasta was nice. My husband got the salmon pasta dish, which he enjoyed. Best part of the meal was the dessert, which was a chocolate mousse cake.
Started closing up early especially for Valentine's day. Food was over salted. May as well have been olive garden.
Great food and service - all very quickly. Nice spot for lunch.
The food is very delicious and worth it. I’d recommend the butternut squash ravioli. They connect to Wine Bar so there is a great selection of cocktails, wine and beer. I highly recommmend this restaurant.
I always have the most amazing dining experience when I come here. The staff is exceptional and I so appreciate that it is so consistent! The food is exquisite and I love the ambience and it's always so nice and they have live music as well. I always have the most remarkable experiences when I come to dine here!
Awesome waiter, excellent food, great ambiance.
Excellent food and service. Homemade Italian done right! Try the tiramisu.
The staff is professional. The menu and specials are creative. When in SLC we try hard to eat at Cafe Molise.
Our favorite date night place to eat before the Symphony or a show.
We have been there a couple times and has been wonderful every time
Rather large restaurant with several separate rooms. This creates an odd, disjointed feeling if you are the only ones seated in one of those rooms. Street face of the restaurant is lacking, as is the entrance. I realize that is a costly change to make but the proximity to Marriott and Hilton and convention center should create enough business opportunity to help justify an upgrade.
We felt quite hurried at each step of our dining. Upon arrival we were rushed to our table with no greeting. Our sever approached and never greeted us, just asked for a beverage order. Next, serving our entrée's to the wrong patron(why ask if you are not going to listen to who ordered what?). Finally, they removed the plates before we were through eating. ???
The food was good: salads, salmon and ravioli were ordered and we agreed we would order again.
Outstanding service and food. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Server was excellent. He gave us enough space for discussion and was there right when we wanted to order. Very attentive and knowledgeable.
Food was delicious. We all joined the clean plate club. Skipped dessert but a few sounded amazing.
It was a lovely little place and the staff was very kind and attentive. The food was delightful and perfectly portioned. I will definitely come back.
We celebrated a friend’s birthday and we had a wonderful lunch. The service was superb—very accommodating with our special birthday cake. The food was delicious.
We keep coming back to Cafe Molisse! The food is always amazing and consistently delicious!
Very impressed with the service and food! We stayed for over an hour and the servers were not pushy. There was a live jazz band playing! Good vibes and good food!
I usually visit Café Molisse for lunch. My guest picked the venue for dinner before heading to the Utah Symphony performance. Dinner was delicious. The tenderloin was cooked to a medium rare perfection. We both ordered a glass of Brunello which complemented the meat very well. Great service.
Great find and our go to place in SLC for great quality Italian food.
I was just looking up great Italian places for my birthday and saw this as one of the first restaurants that came up. IT WAS EXCELLENT. Food was great, location was easily accessible, and service was awesome. I had a great experience and am already telling my friends!
We love Caffe Molise for it delicious food, warm hospitality and fun atmosphere! The staff are kind and welcoming and the food is consistently high quality with great and different specials every time we come.
Excellent food, services, atmosphere. One of SLC's finest.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening with dear friends at Caffe Molise in Salt Lake City. This restaurant is a must-try. The food was fantastic, the service and their knowledge and descriptions of the food and wine was impressive.
The timing of the arrival of food and beverage was spot on and yet you hardly realized that we were being attended by a team of two or three servers! I highly recommended.
Prompt and attentive service. A nice space overall, and the jazz trio that started up towards the end of our meal was a lovely addition. I ordered the Arista, which was outstanding. My wife ordered the house-made pasta dish, and it was okay, but the sauce lacked a little punch. She ended up wishing she had ordered what I did, so I shared.
