    Service was good, great wine recommendations. Food wasn’t anything special. Chicken entree was extremely dry. Steak was rubbery and mostly fat, but the flavor of both entrees was great. Dessert was outstanding.

    6-month anniversary dinner with my wife. She got the gnocchi and I got the ravioli. Both were delicious. We got the chocolate cake and cheesecake for dessert.

    The building is old, quaint and wonderful, and perhaps that is why it was so cold inside. It is winter, after all, but it was quite cold during our lunch reservation. Otherwise, great food, prompt service, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced. Of course we will return, maybe just not in the coldest part of the winter.

    We've eaten here before and loved it, but this time it was disappointing. The food wasn't fresh or delicious - not even the specials. The staff were all lovely, but the meal and the drinks were not. I don't think we'll be back.

    I took my wife for our 11 year anniversary. My wife was in love with this place the minute she stepped in. The food was amazing. David was our waiter and was very knowledgeable. Next time we are in SLC, we will be sure to stop here for a romantic dinner.

    We had a fabulous time at Caffe Molise. The food, as always, was delicious, attractively plated, and the servic by Gabbi was beautifully timed, and attentively monitored. Our group really enjoyed ourselves and all vowed to return whenever we get to Salt Lake City.

    Overall it had a classy vibe and the service was pretty good. They were able to accommodate a group of 10 people for my birthday. However, almost every person in the group didn’t really enjoy their meal. It wasn’t necessarily bad but it definitely wasn’t very good and it didn’t feel like it was worth the price.

    Wow! Beyond our expectations. We had a large family meal of 14 including a few babes in arms and we were able to sit at a bench and have conversation and enjoy each others company. The food is classic Italian with great ingredients, the beef ribs were worth going back for and the staff was disliked in like a well oiled machine. Acoustic quartet was playing... just amazing.

    Caffé Molise was the restaurant my wife and I have been looking for. The food was great, and the price was not crazy. We have tried a couple places lately that have been extremely expensive with either horrible portion sizes, or quality of food. But Caffé Molise was amazing quality and the portions were perfect! Will definitely be frequenting this place!!

    This is my second visit to Cafe Molise. Our first visit was a group event. It had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner. We were very pleased with that event and I wanted to go back when we in Salt Lake. CM did not disappoint, the food and services were excellent. The temperature of the restaurant was very cold. We didn’t remove our coats. It’s awkward dining in an upscale restaurant wearing a coat. I would happily return but not in the winter 😂.

    From the dinner to the wine and dessert this was an awesome dinner. Will definitely be back. Our server Darby was so efficient and pleasant, couldn't of had a better experience.

    The food has gone drastically down hill of late. I had been looking forward to this dinner for weeks and now I wish we’d gone to Olive Garden. The quality of the food doesn’t merit those prices. The wine was very good as was the salad, but the entrees were lukewarm and just ok, nothing special. The service was friendly but very slow. Really a disappointment.

    We’ve been going to this restaurant for 8 years. We will not be returning. Gnocchi looked and tasted like store bought. Not even a good one! We are utterly disappointed and will not be returning nor recommending.

    Food was excellent and so was the service (Jake). We loved to stay there. We had the starter with a bit of charcuterie and cheese - one tip for the chef, just don‘t cool it down that much. The aroma of charcuterie and cheese will even increase. The scalloped (with spaghetti) was perfect and also the Marsala chicken and the desert. Really had a great evening. Thanks a lot.

    Had an early dinner reservation for two at Cafe Molise, everything from the food to the attentive service was wonderful. We had the nightly special (Salmon) and the "staff favorite" pork loin with fig compote. Both were incredible. Will definitely be back!

    Food was flavorful, but just OK. Chicken dish was extremely dry. Must have been precooked & reheated. Cocktails were good & desert was excellent. We were sat in a room upstairs with no ambiance, no music, and bright lighting. It felt like a cafeteria or an event room. Not where you want to spend a nice evening with your partner. Had we known that’s where we would have been seated when making the reservation, we would have gone elsewhere. The staff were good & attentive, but between the food and the strange accommodation, it fell short of expectations for a nice evening out.

    Been going to Caffe Molise for years for our anniversary. Food is consistently high quality. Service is excellent and very efficient. Adequate, if not extensive, wine list. Great cocktails. Everything was very tasty. Pasta is al dente and tastes fresh. My shrimp was cooked perfectly, tender but firm. The "diablo" sauce was spicy but not too spicy. Husband's Pappardelle al Sugo was full of pork and beef flavor with plenty of sauce. And their Godiva chocolate cake is simply a chocolate lover's delight.

    There’s limited parking for the restaurant. Just a heads up, you may need to pay for parking on the street. Other than that, the meal was amazing. Definitely going back.

    Great evening and the server made sure to tell us about the delay in the kitchen. We were able to visit and have a good time and it was not that bad of a delay.

    First time eating here. All the food was fantastic. We will definitely go back. I believe they were a bit short handed, which made the service somewhat slower, but it’s to be expected. They did a fantastic job with the people they had. Give this place a try.
