My son and his friends went there for prom - they were treated very well!

Love Cafe Luna. Parker is a fantastic host and the food is great. Wait staff are always very helpful and professional. We were there on Friday night and it was really loud (which is kind of good because I had to get very close to my wife's face:). Love the location and love the food. The art on the wall is nice, too. Wish is were quiet enough to hear music in the background. But you can't have everything.....

Always one of my favorites! The service is wonderful and I always appreciate seeing the same face greet us on every visit. Must check this one out.

We have used Caffe Luna for two retirement dinners, one anniversary and one birthday celebration, so we value it as a "special occasion" location. Service is consistently attentive and the food is always tasty. Appetizers are also good. Everything is fresh and nicely plated.

It's also a great restaurant for just getting out for a nice meal. No special occasion required.

I have always enjoyed Cafe Luna, but the noise level is sooo high, that we rarely go back.

Overall a good experience. Service was prompt and courteous, although bread was initially not brought to the table, had to ask for it. Portion size was in line with pricing. Unfortunately one entrée was overcooked(to the point of burnt aftertaste). We were on tight schedule so di not ask to replace it. Insalate DI Giorno was bland--not enough dressing--limp field greens.

I always look forward to eating at Caffe Luna and this dining experience was no exception. The food and the service are consistently stellar. There’s an atmosphere of professionalism, calmness and excellence that further enhances eating at this restaurant.

Food was delicious - my Italian husband loved it. Service was a little off that night but would still put it on my list of places to return. They also treated my husband to a special treat for his birthday.

We were in Raleigh for the Rock N Roll Half Marathon, and chose Cafe Luna for the traditional pre-race pasta loading Italian dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great the food tasted. It far exceeded our expectations!

Had the veal parmigiana- can never find this at other restaurants ! A little tough to cut, but absolutely delicious.

A favorite- delicious, fresh choices in a happy, sometimes noisy, atmosphere with families, couples, small groups. We love Cafe Luna-

Caffe Luna needs acoustic tiles or something similar to muffle the din. Everyone was happy to be there, but the noise from the entire room made it difficult to hear what was going on right at our table. A table should not be cleared until everyone has eaten. Instead three were cleared and two guests felt rushed and a bit embarrassed to be taking so much time. The waiter reached over to collect plates instead of going around a guest. Food was auctioned off instead of the waiter knowing who was to get which meal. Who get's the lasagna? Who gets the chicken? Really???? Not in a restaurant which charges these prices. This restaurant is always clean and always beautiful. I love seeing the artwork. Mr. Kennedy is always friendly and welcoming and works the room with grace. As far as the food goes, I don't feel the tomato sauce is authentic, so I never order it, but everyone was certainly tucking in. It seems like there is a one sauce fits all recipe for tomato sauce, which is not the Italian way. Given that, I still come in once a year or so, usually for lunch and not for dinner. The location works well for us.

Venue and service were both very good. That’s where the positives end unfortunately. We were seated immediately and ordered appetizers relatively quickly. Almost as soon as the order was in we got our apps which should have been a clue....calamari was rubbery and all rings.....seemed prepackaged. Main course food was the same. Steak was fair quality at best and over cooked. Very thin for a supposedly top quality strip. It felt like a fast food experience and fell well short of expectations based on the location and pricing.

The food was wonderful. I had the crab and lobster stuffed pasta. It was delicious!

Skimpy entrée portions.

Gorgonzola-stuffed Portobello mushroom was served HOT and covered with tomato sauce (rendering the gorgonzola tasteless).

Noise level so high that casual conversation became impossible.

Very disappointed in the food. Expected much better Italian food.

Went to Café Luna last Friday evening. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server knew the menu really well and even assisted one of my friends who had severe allergies.

I've been going to Luna for over 20 years and considerate one of the best Italian restaurants anywhere this side of New York. Parker is one of the all-time great hosts and will cater to your every whim. Great food, great service. I always feel as if I'm in New York.

Great atmosphere with terrific service and a full wine list. I am not a huge fan of Italian food, but my wife and friends who came with us are so I just opted for a steak. It was tasty, but the seasoned potatoes that it came with weren't the best. Everyone else raved about how tasty their traditional Italian meals were and laughed at me for ordering a steak at an Italian restaurant. Rightfully so. All in all, it was a great evening and everyone enjoyed their food and wine. Definitely worth checking out.

Enjoyed the energized atmosphere, although just a tad bit too loud to hear my date. Understaffed, but food was good.

Table was ready as soon as we got there even though we were a few minutes early. Wait staff was great and was greeted personally at our table by the owner. Food was delicious with plenty of options. Good location as well being that it is located near several nice after dinner night spots.

Went for Valentine’s Day and it was fantastic. Even with the large number of people it wasn’t too loud in the dining room and it Make for a nice romantic date.

It was very pleasant experience dining at Caffe Luna. The service was great where our server was considerate and accommodated our special requests. We found the restaurant vegetarian friendly with a lot of vegetarian options to chose from. A great experience overall!!
