   The owner was our server for dinner. Super attentive, accommodating and kind. Everything on the menu is homemade so you really cannot go wrong with any dish. He generously gave us some aperitif and dessert on the house. I would come back for the lemon ricotta cheesecake ALONE. Squisito!

    Lovely, old fashioned local restaurant in Fort Greene. Crowded (good for them!) for pre performance meals and a bit noisy but friendly and personal. I hope it stays for many more years.

    This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve eaten in. The food was all homemade and delicious. From the antipasto to spinach soufflé to amazing meatballs to flavorful salmon, it was great. To top it off, the cheesecake for dessert was the best. The service was exceptional. This small welcoming restaurant is a must. Everything yummy. Can’t wait to go back!

    This is a very good Italian restaurant near BAM and the Harvey theater. I made an early reservation before a show and enjoyed well prepared food and a glass of reasonably priced wine. The service was excellent. The prices are fair. They honored our reservation as soon as we walked in. It was difficult to converse because of the noise level which is a big deterrent to me. I don't think there are many better choices within a few minutes of BAM so I will likely return and try asking for a table in the back room. Maybe it's quieter.

    An unexpected treat from a charming Italian restaurant. Met a colleague for lunch and we were able to have a leisurely conversation without background chatter. The waiter was terrific and helped with menu suggestions.

    This restaurant was a treasure on Christmas Day. Our waiter was friendly and made suggestions which were fabulous. We were not disappointed from appetizer to dessert. I have every intention in returning to restaurant in the future.

    I had been to this restaurant before and was pleased with the service and ambience. This time, there was a large group with children who were left to run around the restaurant unsupervised. The door was left open (and it was cold) every time a person came in or out. I was charged $3.00 for a cup of hot water. The gratuity was added to the bill and we were a party of two.     Wonderful neighborhood restaurant downtown. Great food, service, and atmosphere. We enjoyed the mussels, gorgonzola salad, and pasta special with pancetta, tomatoes, arugula, and basil in a light broth. All paired with a nice Montepulciano. Too bad we didn't save room for dessert!

    This restaurant should be listed as one of Brooklyn's hidden gems. The service is "right on." It is attentive without being overbearing. The food is always delicious. My favorite is the fried calamari appetizer and the branzino. It's also one of the few places where good wine is reasonably priced. I always make it a point to bring people whose company I enjoy. They are always appreciative. I've never found a problem with finding street parking and, if it were necessary, there is a parking lot diagonally across the street.

    we were easily able to get a table for 7 people. They were out of the wine we wanted and recommended a different wine that was served too warm. They also charged us for the wrong bottle. This place is cash only and gratuity was include (probably because of our group size) so be prepared for that. Otherwise, the food was good though the portion size was on the smaller side for their price points.

    We were a party of 7 so we were seated in the back room, which was really nice. We found the food was delivered at just the right pace for a social evening with friends. The food was enjoyable, we did lots of sharing ("oh - you have to taste this! no, taste this first!). All in all a great evening. :) My only complaint, if you can even call it that, was they ran out of chocolate mousse before we ordered dessert. BUT the cheesecake was amazing and the apple dessert was delicious as well.
