About Caffe Delucchi

Welcome to Caffe DeLucchi, where casual, comfortable dining, house made pasta and delicious wine and beer come together in the heart of North Beach.

Enjoy our weekend breakfast outside with a Bloody Mary, one of our signature sandwiches at lunch or one of our house made pasta specials at dinner. If it's a late brunch fix you need, we serve brunch until 4pm, Monday to Friday and until 2pm on the weekends.

Our wines are an approachable list of familiar, and some not so familiar, California and Italian wines. We also feature a range of Belgian and Belgian style craft beers and Soju cocktails.

Come by before or after going to Beach Blanket Babylon, before a night out in North Beach or on a sunny weekend morning.

Eat. Drink. Enjoy.

I liked my food. My wife’s meal looked good but was cold or cool. (Eggs and sausage)

The pizza was not good. I am not sure what kind of cheese they used. I was very disappointed. My friends enjoyed heir pass dishes.

We've been to DeLucchi several times for brunch -- and we are bonkers for the artichoke hash and the polenta. Highly recommended... although the other breakfast/brunch items are delicious, too!

The food and service were good but not memorable. The ambiance was ok, kind of neat spot on the corner of two streets in the city. My wife really enjoyed the homemade crab raviolis. They were very good.

Good menu with options for everyone. Pastas were delicious and well prepared, pizzas very good. My linguini Congolese was excellent. Decent wine selection. Very friendly staff.

Caffe Delucchi is a wonderful restaurant, just don't go on a holiday weekend--our mistake--even with a reservation! Reservation recommended. Our food was delicious, but due to the holiday weekend and increased restaurant traffic, they were out of so many items, it made what to order more difficult/food given was missing expected items and we weren't given the option to substitute, it was just served. Also, we had to shout at the waitress to be heard and our waitress kept leaving while we were still ordering. Great place, yummy food, but better during the week or during non-holiday times.

My wife thought the Pizza was the best she had ever had.
All fresh ingredients and the sauce was not bitter.

We've been coming to Caffe Delucchi several times a year for many years. When we came to San Francisco it was always our go to place for casual fine dining. We enjoy the outside dining watch the world go by experience. When it changed ownership several years ago, the menu gradually changed as did the hard to describe ambiance. We found our last visit somewhat disappointing. Some of our favorite dishes are now missing from the menu. It is still a very fine place to dine, but we may have to start searching for another go to place for special occasions.

Two of us had lunch. I ordered shrimp pasta which I was anticipating a very tasty dish; but it was quite bland and the shrimp were overcooked. I suppose I could have complained and returned the dish of something else, if they accommodate this type of complaint. But I did not. This pasta dish needed some help. My friend ordered a sandwich which looked good and was more worthwhile than my choice. . Next time if I return, I'd order something else than the pasta.

We walked over from the Marina for our reservation and were met with a sign on the door that explained that due to computer problems they would be closed for the day. Having worked in restaurants I understand things happen; however, I received no phone call or any sort of notification. Furthermore when I went to cancel my reservation on opentable to avoid a 'no-show' ding, I discovered that cancellations were required to be done over the phone, and due to the computer problem, I'd imagine, I wasnt able to do so successfully. Luckily Park Tavern nearby was open so it wasn't a total waste. I've been to DeLucci before and had enjoyed it, but this lack of professionalism is disappointing.

This place is where we had our first date and have been back numerous times and the food has always been excellent. Today they must have been having an off day. We had brunch (Italian scramble and crab Benedict). Both were just average. We obviously will continue to visit.

A little hidden gem in San Francisco's Little Italy. Happy Hour with $5.00 wines until 6:30. Had dinner early. So we enjoyed their Montepulciano before ordering. Had a wonderful carpaccio made with Kobe beef for appetizer. Homemade tagliatelle with bolognese sauce and linguine with clams for entrees. Both excellent. Service very attentive, however, while there was great modern art on the walls and comfortable seating, the restaurant is small and was very warm. That was the only negative. Would absolutely return to try other items on the menu.

We were initially seated in a way that was very awkward for our party of six, but were able to switch tables. Once that happened, service and food were great. The Italian scramble had great flavor. Other dishes we liked included the avocado scramble, pancakes, and eggs benedict. I would recommend Cafe Delucchi.

The food was very good. While the caprese salad lacked a little in flavor, the gnocchi more than made up for it. The setting was small but quaint.

Great little Italian place. Try the eggplant appetizer. The goat cheese on it is delicious. For an entree I recommend the gnocchi but every dish was great!

We chose this place because of proximity to Club Fugazi, as well as the menu. We made reservations but probably didn't need to. The menu options were numerous, with many egg dishes. Lunch was not available until 11:30, but we had no trouble finding something we wanted on the breakfast menu. I was intrigued by the artichoke hash, so had an Eggs Benedict dish served over it, with polenta, tomato, and a slice of sour dough toast. I loved it, from the way it was presented, to the way it tasted. The polenta was a little too salty for my taste. There were Bellinis and Mimosas, along with authentic Italian sodas on the beverage menu. My friend chose a glass of sparkling Italian wine and I had coffee, which didn't disappoint. If you are in a hurry, I don't recommend this place, but if you have plenty of time for a leisurely brunch, and want to linger after your meal, this is the place.

The breakfast dishes with polenta are amazing! Artichoke hash, poached eggs, polenta... YUM! They also offer the lunch menu for folks who don't really want egg-type things. On a nice day, it's fun to sit on the sidewalk and people watch.

Entertained two out of town guests. Location in North Beach is convenient, and our table was ready when we arrived. Staff was friendly, helped with the menu, and kept things moving. Food was very good. Particularly enjoyed the risotto with mushrooms. Wines by the glass were very good - enjoyed the chiante.

Came for lunch on a Sunday and the restaurant was popular, but not packed with a huge wait. The reservation was for 5 people since we had 4 adults and a stroller which there was no issue accommodating. There were a few others out on the sidewalk too. Food was wonderful - Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Breakfast BLT, rigatoni bolognese, and Ravioli Pomodoro. Everyone was thrilled with their choices.

Good Italian food. Good service. Lots of tourists. Not far from Beach Blanket Babylon it opens early for dinner. So it's a good pre-theater dining spot . Also not far from City Lights Bookstore and their author readings.
