The service and food were terrific. Had both the Dover Sole and lasagna specials. Highly recommend.
Nice place. Small. Nice staff. Good food. Good wine selection
A lovely restaurant; delightful ambiance; quiet enough to talk easily; good food. Very attentive service. Well worth a visit
temperature control would help. it was very hot the other night.
Me and my girlfriends wanted a last minute Italian meal on Saturday night and we choose here. It was a little quiet for us, but the servers sat us on the top floor so we were comfortable making a lot of noise. The food was amazing I had the Mushroom Risotto and it was so so so good. A little pricey, but a wonderful night.
Delicious food, wonderful staff. A little expensive, but we would definitely enjoy another meal there.
Lovely little spot- very friendly staff and service- food was very good starting with homemade breadsticks- my wife had Branzini and I veal milenase- both were excellent choices
Wonderful decor and lighting and delicious food. Service very friendly but a little slow for the prices which are high.
Not too noisy - great evening even if prices were a little high
Second time we’ve been there the first time was good we sat out in the Terrace but this time there was only one other table downstairs that had customers it took close to 35 minutes for us to get our food which was lukewarm at best when we received it I would not recommend this restaurant and
Had a wonderful dinner for my son’s birthday. Service and food were excellent. Their Carbonara is outstanding and the salmon I had was delicious.
We've had better. Not a big selection on the menu. Very Overpriced.
Very good food, and friendly service. The only complaint I had was that there’s not a lot of space to sit!
We had another great experience here. The food is very high quality and the ambiance is delightful - great lighting level (i.e., not too dark - no flashlight required to read the menu!) and no background music so we could speak to each other. So civilized! A nearby table got louder later on, but fortunately it was close to when we were leaving. The food was really good - whole roasted branzino is enough for two persons or one very hungry one. My friend loved his beef carpaccio and his wife loved her halibut. Go and enjoy but don't recommend it to anyone who is loud.
First visit for us. Excellent! Will definitely return.
UES prices but food was delicious. Typical NYC line up of tables, so not much privacy during dinner, but very nice local place and wait staff was terrific and friendly. Very enjoyable evening.
Nice location on Lexington on the upper east side. Delicious food, with great portions, and the service was absolutely exceptional. I would highly recommend this if you’re in that area. Five star quality but not at outrageous prices. Definitely come again.
Lovely dinner and drinks.
I always love Caffe Dei Fiori when it’s warm enough to sit outside!!
Very solid. Good enough to return every once in a while. The negroni is strong. The tuna tartar appetizer special was unimaginative but of good quality. My spaghetti commodore was a test which the chef passed well. The total bill of 125 for two (plus tax) is customary for the Upper East Side. I have had a lot less satisfying experiences in that neighborhood. Don't come to impress your boss or job candidate or new girl friend. But for all other occassions this is worthwhile coming.
Located in the fancy upper east side of Manhattan is a nice and quite restaurant with a small internal patio. food is excellent.
Expensive but delicious, great atmosphere and excellent service.
Over priced and not much service comes with it
Drinks were good. The servers were pleasant. We were there on a Monday night and they were very few other tables taken. We left after one hour because our food had not arrived. The other restaurants on the block were all filled. This is one restaurant I would stay away from
Mom’s 91 birthday. Three of us. Sat in back garden which became noisy but to be a fair, there was a big party table nearby. Wish we had been forewarned.
Great food, great service.
We went back one week after our first diner at Caffe de Fiori and were disappointed by the food
This restaurant practices to high prices to serve a $42 Milanese over fried and 20 minutes pasta
Perhaps the best veal Milanese I have ever had, expertly paired with a hearty Barbera!
Friendly and unobtrusive service. A real gem.
Excellent quality food
Quite place inside for talking
The fish dishes were amazing but the quality of the steak left a lot to be desired. Ambiance lovely, especially on outdoor patio.
Loved it !!!!
Nice but not for value. I think they may be closing...many wines not on the list only 4 tables during lunch on a fridau, etc
Fantastic service (though it was not particularly busy). Fantastic food. Beautiful space. We were there for brunch. The prices were surprisingly reasonable relative to the qualify of the food/experience. Very happy we found this spot.
Beautiful setting. Authentic Italian food, decor, and experienced, diligent, and warm staff. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.
Feels like you are eating in Bologna ..
We went for lunch this week to celebrate a friends birthday. Food was delicious. Service was great. It was pretty expensive though. I will go back though next time I'm in the neighborhood.
When we first went there, the food was tops and the prices were reasonable.
Now the prices have nearly doubled as the quality of their food is a bit disappointing.
Their soups are quite good and the large selection of salads as well.
But their pastas, which they say are homemade are not good.
We had Easter brunch at Caffe dei Fiori and it was lovely. Attentive and friendly service and delicious food, with a great ambiance that was quiet but still happy and lively. I definitely plan to come back soon.
They had a nice Easter menu in addition to their usual brunch menu, so you could choose from either, which I appreciated.
Best authentic Italian food and dining experience in NYC. So appreciate the quiet ambiance and attentive service. Don't change a thing!
What could have been a pleasant evening was marred by thumping disco (yes, disco) on the sound system. We were the only people in the restaurant at 6PM and asked them twice to turn it down. A second party arrived and they complained, too. The restaurant was basically empty; we were mystified why a simple request was not accommodated.
My wife and I and two friends had dinner at Caffe dei Fiori the other night, and all of us thought that the food and service were excellent, the staff was warm and friendly, and it is generally a very pleasant place for dinner. My wife and I previously had an excellent lunch there, and we consider it a real find.
$65 Dover Sole overpriced. Food was good otherwise.
