It was very loud. There weren’t that many tables and yet we sat for 10 minutes before anyone came up to us. And even then our service still remained very slow.

Nice cafe restaurant in the middle of Ann Arbor. Interesting menu with many tapas like items, some hit the mark others, not so much.

Our waiter forgot to put in our order. When he came back to let us know about 45 minutes later, he asked us what we had ordered. The crab cake was mostly filler and very little crab. The waiter never offered to comp us on anything even though we waited another 45 minutes for our food.

I love Cafe Zola! I go here often for brunch with the girls. Sometimes the wait periods are longer than usual and there are times I've waited over an hour for my food but I am always happy with my meal!

My favourite brunch place by far. Amazing food, amazing service. Make a reservation! Getting in without one isn’t easy.

Server was fantastic in spite of the fact that there were only 2 services serving the entire restaurant.

we ate outside. Not enuf servers, so slow service, but it always is but its worth the wait.

As to be expected, the food. Service and chai tea were all excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and everyone followed safe practices.

I could have easily have given five stars based on the above criteria. Only reason for giving 4 stars is the value component. Prices are definitely on the high end

Food was poor. Service was good. Had the chicken and it was a mess. My date had the fish tacos and they were subpar. Staff very nice.

We sat outside and it was a little chilly but still nice.

We had a lovely brunch. I appreciated that we were able to get a booster seat for our 2 year old.

It was a pretty and sunny day in Ann Arbor. We sat outside, it was fantastic, a little cook but the sun was nice. The tables were spread out nicely. We ordered brunch and as always it was delicious.

Unique and delicious, enjoyed lamb kafta, fish taco, Kobe burger and salad.

Cute spot with a massive menu and fresh, local ingredients but $22 for a BLT with egg and avocado is obnoxiously steep. That was the sandwich only. $12 for a screwdriver which I don't drink often and wasn't even buzzed after three...

Cafe Zola is a guaranteed good experience. Love the cocktails, short ribs and wine!

Was a lovely lunch! Food was very good, spectacular blood orange martini! Service was wonderful...Amanda was very friendly and made great recommendations. Will definitely be back!

Dinner was very nice but the portion sizes were a little too small. The shrimp casserole was way to small and gave my girlfriend 6 pieces of shrimp as the entire entree. There’s no reason you should have to go to McDonald’s after spending $70 for dinner!!

Cafe Zola seemed to be understaffed when we were there. The food was great, and our waiter did a nice job for working so many tables. It did take about 10 minutes or so to get seated, with no one ahead of us, as the host was also clearing tables. The food was great and took a reasonable time to get to the table. Over all a good experience.

Even through a pandemic, Cafe Zola manages to meet high expectations for dining experiences. So grateful some things don't have to change.

what beats eating great food outside when it is snowing?

As we sat outside on winter December afternoon for brunch. It had an ambiance as we sat with a heater at our table as the light snow came down... It was fun. I was dressed warmly and brought a blanket for my lap. The drinks were fabulous and the brunch items that we ordered were outstanding. I definitely will be going back again to try the other food items and hopefully one day get to sit inside and enjoy.

Great food and service. Friendly staff. I had the braised short ribs which were delicious. We ate outside in January due to the state restrictions on indoor dining and sat next to 2 heat lamps to mitigate the cold.

We love Cafe Zola. But eating outside when it’s 35 degrees is just not enjoyable. We know it’s obviously not their fault but we just wish there was a barrier or tent or something to block the wind or at least left us know ahead of time so we could make the decision to go or not. Food was very good. Loved the fish tacos and Sweet Potato Squash soup.

The food and service were outstanding as usual. Unfortunately it was very cold night and the number of outdoor heaters were not enough. I will be back but may wait until they decide to get outdoor tents/ greenhouses or hopefully the Governor starts to open the state similar to Ohio very soon.

Had the most lovely time doing a little December outdoor dining. We felt safe with all of the covid measures put into place. Definitely recommend the fish tacos! Pro tip: bring a blanket because you may not get a table near a heat lamp!
