Eggplant was undercooked. Didnt taste fresh. Fiancee lived his veal.
Great service good food definitely recommend
Delicious food, friendly staff, great service ... but outrageously priced. $17.00 for a shrimp cocktail with THREE shrimp? Ridiculous.
Our friends and my husband and I LOVE CAFE VICO !!! The owner/chef always comes around to all the tables to make sure everyone is happy with their food and drinks! We are enjoying Cafe Vico so much that whenever someone wants to go out....we wind up there!!! I am Italian and you cannot get any better food or service anywhere!
Cafe Vico is CONSISTENT! Wonderful menu selections that never disappoint. Service is spot on. We live returning to this local gem.
We went to Cafe Vico for an early dinner prior to a show at Broward Center. It was our second visit and it remains in 1st place for our favorite South Florida restaurants. There is live music provided by a talented soloist while diners indulge in the delicious fare at Cafe Vico. The ambiance of this establishment is so welcoming and the staff is truly gracious and efficient. Our server, Fernando, was such a gentleman and very knowledgeable about the cuisine and menu selections. The freshly baked rolls and outrageously delicious garlic and oil blend are so scrumptious- it is challenging to avoid the urge to over indulge before the meal is served. The complimentary bruschetta is very enjoyable as well. We ordered the Clams Casino (best ever!) and a Burrata, Tomato, and Crispy Prosciutto (sooo good!) appetizer . Both were splendid! Our entrees were also delightful: a yellow-tail snapper served with artichokes and a chicken ravioli dish topped with cherries. We learned about Cafe Vico through an acquaintance...probably the BEST restaurant recommendation ever!
Amazing experience, the owner is personable and food was amazing
The pastas are homemade, everything thing was delicious. She had the lasagna with cream sauce, I had the shrimp wjth spicy red sauce.
The wait staff was excellent. We loved the complimentary bruschetta and the fact that the kitchen split our salads and meals that we shared.
This was my second time me and my husband came here. I can honestly say this time was way better than the first time. The entrees were delicious both visits but this time we were served fresh baked breads with an herbs and oil blend. We ordered the fried calamari for our appetizer and it was fresh and hot and delicious. We were catered to very well this time as well. I really enjoyed the overall experience the second time we went.
This was our 30th anniversary dinner. I was recommended by the hotel we were staying at .
The food was very good. The cappuccino was the best I ever had!
Great service and excellent food. I highly recommend Cafe Vico. I had the pasta seafood special which was incredible.
Dinner was very good. Started with bread and garlic olive oil and moved on to large entrees if Chicken Parm and Seafood Ravioli. Both were served quickly and piping hot. Dessert was a simple coffee cake with great flavor. The service and ambiance were great for a date night.
Cafe Vico is a bit of a drive from where we live, but is worth every mile! The comfortable ambiance, the very gracious owners, the efficient and courteous staff, and the delectable FOOD! We enjoyed the the Clams Casino appetizer - the best we have ever had - and the calamari (perfect seasoning and enjoyable, light batter). The pillowy rolls were delicious and accompanied with a dish of freshly minced garlic and oil (YUM!). We were pleasantly surprised to then be indulged with fresh bruschetta - what a nice touch! The Veal Francese was superb (we ordered it with the linguini in the Francese sauce - as opposed to the broccoli it regularly comes with). We also ordered the Seafood Risotto - aptly one of the favorite dishes served at Cafe Vico. This restaurant is now at the top of our "favorites" list.
Busy place. Nicely lit. Food not bad. Service good, not great. Expensive for quality of food.
Food was very disappointing. It was tasteless, as if pre-prepared. It was. Not gourmet by any means. Emphasized quantity over quality. Will not return!
Very nice waiters but the service was terrible. The salad we ordered was old. Chicken parm was good.
We took a friend of ours for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but our waiter was patient and did not rush us. The food and the drinks were wonderful as always. The only recommendation I have is that the restaurant needs to be upgraded to keep up with today’s design/decor. The way it is now shows its age.
This is such a great place, hidden in a small plaza! I passed by so many times and I would have never known about it if I didn't look online for a unique, authentic restaurant. I loved the space - it is spacious with many rooms, which could be used for many different occasions. The food is delicious and they offer vegetarian choices too. Service was great! We got to chat with the owner a little who seemed really nice and welcoming. Will definitely go back!
Great food, great prices, cute ambience, huge portions. You can’t go wrong.
Visiting Ft. Lauderdale and Bumped into this restaurant. Good food, pleasant atmosphere. Worth a try!
The most amazing food and service. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
I had the saltimbocca alla Romana and it was delicious. My martinis were also worth every penny. Can not wait to return.
Wait staff very pleasant and friendly. Food is delicious. We dine out a lot and have a pretty good idea what is authentically tasty and what is not. Come here at least once a month.
Everything was superb, as it always is!
The food & service were excellent. The ambiance is nice. The only complaint is that the live music in the bar area during happy hour was very loud. We were early for our dinner reservation, so had planned to have a drink in the bar first, but it was so loud we would not have been able to have a conversation.
We both ordered the lasagna with Caesar salad. We loved the lasagna. We have dined here before and love the ambiance and the food. We will come again.
Very nice classic Italian fare. One of the better moderately priced options in Fort Lauderdale and we will definitely return again soon. Overall large space divided into a few different rooms - all consistent in casually elegant décor providing an intimate ambiance. Welcoming and comfortable and very accommodating.
Food was awesome! Tried the Penne Vodka and Veal Parmesan and they were both outstanding. Great warm bread too!
Good Italian food in a nice atmosphere with fair prices.
Always a great choice for everyday dining. Food is consistently good and it's a friendly neighborhood spot.
CAFE VICO WAS JUST GREAT! We had a great evening and will certainly go back again
My husband ordered a beer the waiter came with a half bottle and proceed to talk and move so we wouldn't notice then when asked why he didn't get the draft the waiter did not know it came in draft.
We are planning on coming back very soon. Very warm and friendly staff and owner.
Great food, good service and bar. Only draw back is the price. It’s too high.
Love the food her the lasagna ia AMAZING i dont even look at the menu give then lasagna
THE OVERALL SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. DRAYGAN, OUR SERVER WAS GREAT. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS PREPARED WELL.
The Lasagna and Veal Picatta are gems. Try the artichoke appetizer. It is terrific. A local nght spot with live music on weekends and other days. Best night time place in Fort Lauderdale.
Delicious food, best service ever! Octopus was delicious and perfectly cooked. Chicken parm is huge and flavorful!
