Disappointed this time. Enjoyed Cafe Vico before but was unpleasantly surprised when the check arrived and a chicken special cost $35. The quality was just OK and this seemed excessive. There are other Italian options with excellent food and much more reasonable prices, especially for Fort Lauderdale.
Our server, Jackson and his crew, were amazing. We were never without anything. He was great at recommending the best of what was on the menu. The food is outstanding as well. Everything we had was authentic Italian and was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Once again, a perfect evening. Service! Food! Atmosphere! Marco!
ALEX, OUR SERVER WAS EXCELLENT. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS GREAT AND TODAY WAS NO EXCEPTION. KUDOS FOR MARCO, THE OWNER, WHO IS USUALLY THERE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING GOES RIGHT. ONE OF THE BEST AUTHENTIC ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE ENTIRE US. IT IS A BIT PRICEY, BUT THE PORTION SIZES ARE COMMENSURATE (FAIRLY ADEQUATE) .
Being met by the owner at the hostess stand was a fantastic touch. Food was great. Service was great. Will definitely return when back in town.
Consistently great food, and the BEST Cosmopolitans in all of Broward County!
Great food but very noisy
Took my best friend for her birthday. We enjoyed the house ‘s special appetizer which was like a bruschetta. I ordered the veal Marsala. It was excellent!! Great sauce and bunches of mushrooms. Sides were sweet potatoes & broccoli. My friend had the yellow tail snapper special which was topped with artichoke hearts. She loved it. Then they brought her a slice of tiramisu with a candle in it! Such a fun night. We will return!!!
Always a joy to return to to a favorite after our global travel. Back from Sicily. Happy to see Planeta wine on Marcos Carter des Vins! Veal chop excellent, sausage and fresh papardelle ery good and veal piccata tasty. Good service and quiet corner to allow conversation with our guest.
Met friends at the bar before dinner and encountered friendly, efficient service all around. Dinner was excellent (especially for those who ordered the lasagna), service was prompt, and we were not rushed after eating. The restaurant has "upscale" everything but it is not pretentious at all.
A very nice dining experience. Food was excellent and service was very good.
Great food and terrific service!!
Excellent find. Great happy hour with live music. The food is exceptional. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Love this place!
Lovely location. Perfect ambience and the food authentic.
We had a great time at Cafe Vico. Everyone was friendly and the food was excellent. We had the stuffed Artichoke as an appetizer and the rolls were incredible! Lasagna truly is the best in Fort Lauderdale, and the 4 cheese gnocchi was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!
Everything about Cafe Vico is wonderful! This by far is our favorite Fort Lauderdale restaurant!
Absoltely Amazing Service! Amazing Food! I recommend trying the lasagna
Love this place! Food, service everything is outstanding!
The food is fantastic. The garlic spread for the bread is to die for. Wait staff is excellent. The veal piccata and risotto were fabulous. Love this place.
Cafe Vico is outstanding! The food is amazing, service is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice!
The chicken Marsala was the best...chicken was thin, tender and full of flavor! That’s the way chicken Marsala should be made! I don’t understand why so many other restaurants serve a very thick piece of chicken...it’s so unappealing that way! The Marsala sauce was absolutely delicious, and I had it over the pasta too. Fantastic! The complimentary bruschetta that was brought to us was very good and a nice touch! I almost forgot to mention those delicious rolls and olive oil with garlic, etc. Wow! Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating, and I can’t wait to go back!
I also noticed that the ladies room was immaculate,
by the way.
The staff worked efficiently and the food was really good. The owner chef visited our table which was really nice.
Love Cafe Vico and staff! Happy hour in the lounge is a great way to start off the evening.
Phenomenal food and service top notch
Between the Great Cocktail Lounge with Live Music and the , Excellent Italian Cuisine this is our Go To place in Ft Lauderdale. Don't miss the Meatball Appetizer.
Always my favorite! Garlic oil with rolls, chicken parm, chicken piccata, lasagne.... terrific!
The food and service were amazing. Great Happy hour and live music at the bar too. Vico is a perfect gentleman and makes sure he greets every patron.
As always, we were greeted by the owner when we arrived. The food was excellent as was the service.
We've never had a bad experience at Cafe Vico!
Menu and food/drink was excellent. Our service was not as good. Took 3 hours for 3 people to have a meal, server rarely checked back with our table. I finally got up to find him to get our check after waiting too long. That’s what we get for asking to sit in a quiet area. They forget about you. I will give it another try.
Fantastic! I've been there a few times before but I think it's getting better. They have made improvements to the dining and bar area. Don't let the outside fool you. It's beautiful inside and the food is perfect. I had the best fra diavolo I have ever had and my wife had ravioli that was so fresh and flavorful that it made an impression on us. Ravioli I usually find boring to order but not this time. Great service. It's a little pricey but unlike a lot of other places, it lives up to what you should expect.
Cafe Vico is my favorite restaurant. My husband proposed to me there seven years ago and they have since expanded. Their lasagna is my absolute favorite and my husband always gets the veal Parmesan. A must go to restaurant if you live in Fort Lauderdale or plan on visiting Fort Lauderdale.
Great service and food, we will be back for sure
ERIC, OUR SERVER WAS EXCELLENT AS WAS THE REST OF THE STAFF. THEIR FOOD IS ALWAYS FABULOUS AND PREPARED JUST LIKE YOU ORDERED IT. PREVIOUS SPECIALS ARE AVAILABLE IF WOULD LIKE THEM. CONTINUALLY, ONE OF THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE US, ALTHOUGH A BIT PRICEY.
Cafe Vico is a terrific restaurant! The service, the music, the food are stellar! The Eggplant Parmigiana is particularly wonderful. It is not heavily breaded but instead is light and savory. The Veal Francese is also quite good, as are the Clams Casino. We have never had a meal that was less than delicious at Cafe Vico, in fact! This time we also indulged in Cannolli. It was prepared perfectly - crispy shell and creamy filling that was just sweet enough!
Our recent visit was outstanding with quality service & good. Marco the owner is always welcoming & ensures patrons are happy.
Everything about this restaurant I Great!
The HOSTESS station is a disappointment.
On almost every occasion I am left standing there alone.
Barely acknowledge when arriving and NEVER acknowledge when leaving.
It’s happened sooo often I’m just about ready not to go back.
The acknowledgment of being recognized as a patron wether your dining every day or every month is PART OF THE AMBIANCE!
It’s your FIRST IMPRESSION upon entering and your LAST IMPRESSION when leaving....
One of the best Italian restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area. The Lasagna is the BEST! A must have along with the home made garlic dipping sauce. Marcos, the owner takes the time to great everyone and makes you feel like a special guest.
Great food, great service for a great time! We always have a great meal here, one of our favorites!
Always a special night here!🥂
Marco is always a gracious host.
Allison was so attentive and right on it!
The music was awesome and Vico never disappoints!
went to celebrate a birthday. place was located in the corner of a plaza. when you walk in the place was decorated very nicely. the staff was very pleasant and nice. I went on a Tuesday and they had this guy named Wayne Gilbert playing piano. we chose to sit in the piano area. the guy plays very well and was a good add on for our dinner date. the food was excellent. we went for the lasagna because we heard it was the best and it sure was. the bread and garlic dip at the beginning was excellent and the calamari was great. the Shrimp Fra Diovolo was excellent. for desert had the chocolate brownie with ice cream and it was also good. no complaints with this place and will return.
