About Cafe Un Deux Trois
Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was still very rough , and quickly became THE brasserie to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away.
We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night.
We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme.
The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast.
We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

Cafe Un Deux Trois Ratings and Reviews
Our server was outstanding, the quality of our meal excellent, and a reasonable price for NYC dining. The cheese plate appetizer was plenty for four people. The Belvedere and Tito’s martinis were excellent as was the Cotes du Rhône. The chicken crepe, steak frites, chicken cordon Bleu and duck breast were all prepared to perfection. And the profiteroles as good or better than the ones we had in Paris. We can’t wait to return. With the excellence of this restaurant it’s clear to see why they’ve remained in business since 1977. A must if you visit Manhattan.
Whenever I need to schedule a business lunch in midtown Manhattan, I always make a reservation at Cafe Un Deux Trois. The food is consistently delicious, the wait staff is very attentive and the overall ambiance is comfortable and energetic without being too noisy. I highly recommend this gem.
Reserved a table for 4 for right after the matinee at Radio City. Seated promptly and loved the round table in the corner...very cozy and conducive to conversation. Restaurant itself surprisingly spacious for midtown location.
Excellent service! Ambiance a bit noisier than we would have liked but they were quite busy.
We all had crepes- perfect for Sunday Brunch. They had many to choose from. Meal came out quite quickly.
Would definitely go back for dinner or even to sit at the bar next time I'm in town.
We've been going to Un Deux Trois for decades before going to the theatre. Hadn't been there in awhile due to family illness. Going back to the restaurant was like going home...hugs from the maitre d' and our favorite waiter, Michael. Such fun and great food!
It had been so time since we had dinner at Cafe Un Deux Trois, and we are happy to report it continues to be an excellent choice. We were attending the theater on the evening of this visit and the Cafe's proximity to the theater was a definite plus. We selected the pre-theater 3- course menu for our dinner. All the options we selected were well-prepared and enjoyable. Service was excellent. We will return to this restaurant.
A convenient site for NJ relatives to join FL tourists and even for WALL St. woman to join her female family members celebrating togetherness and Nov. birthdays without fuss--just good food and a round table to share memories and to make new ones. L. Liljestrand
We came here for Sunday brunch and the food was spectacular, not to mention an exceptional waitstaff who provided great service. It was a great experience, and we'd definitely come back upon return to NYC. This is a great spot if your in Midtown West area. Great location- super close to many theaters and Times Square. *Try their Bloody Mary and ask for spicy! :)
I have been going to CafeUn Deux Trois for decades, since it opened. I used to meet my clients from Conde Nast, and have continued enjoying the restaurant with my friends. The maitre d' always recognizes me and is the perfect host! Everything is delicious, but I tend to order he steak tartare. Best time is actually just when theatre starts..you will experience the end of the pre theatre crowd to a cozy quieter time.
This is always a winner! We dine here pre-theatre, whether matinee or evening. The crepes are always an excellent choice, as well as the pris fixe selections. There is also a broad range of a la carte items. We always choose to top off our meal with a delectable dessert.
Service is attentive, without rushing, despite a full house. It can get noisy, but all part of the lively ambiance, as the restaurant is large and filled with many energized theatre-goers.
We will return ....again and again.
