Service was good. Nice vibe. Weird background music playlist through a pretty bad sounding speaker though.

Antipasto and salads were impressive, but both entrees were way too salty. It's a shame because I could tell it was a complex sauce, and nice presentation.

Gnocchi was great with quiet neighborhood feel. Not rushed at all

Wonderful Italian cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Service was great with the owner taking our order and spending a few minutes with us after we were done. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Small bar and indoor seating area with two great outdoor patios where you can also dine. We can't wait to go back again!

Great Italian food. I had mussels as appetizer and linguine with clams as entree and everything was very good and cooked in an real Italian fashion.

Drove by this place a few years back but never managed to get in until last Friday. Absolutely wonderful people and even better food (Veal Saltimboca highly recommended!) Best cappuccino I've had in America too--went great with tiramisu. Sit by the waterfall outside if available. Will definitely be back again.

Arrived with my party of 5 for confirmed reservation to find a sign on the door stating restaurant closed, will reopen 1/30. Had to scramble at the last minute to find another restaurant to take us before our concert. Should have been notified !

I used to go here and always loved. I tried this restaurant twice within a week last week and first time, they didn't even know I had resv and they only had 2 servers on a Saturday night and service was very very slow. Food is fantastic. Next I made resv for following Friday night and got there and stood at front with 10 other people for 15 min until the one gentleman working finally acknowledged everyone and said sorry some one didn't show up so if you want to wait you can but will be a while. Having resv clearly didn't matter anyway. We left. Its so sad because its a great atmosphere and food is good but they cant seem to keep reliable wait staff.

Had early reservation mid week - upon arrival, we were only ones dining. But by 6:30p inside dining filled. Although on busy street, weather permitting would recommend outside dining as nicely landscaped. Waitress very attentive, but feel there was slight language barrier. Food came out quickly - served warm bread with butter, oil/vinegar but no herbs while waiting for dinner. No Italian brand beer nor Chianti Classico by the glass. My husband had the seafood special and I had the sausage special. Pricey for the serving size dishes($22) and Iced tea $4. No happy hour. Quality of food acceptable, but as one diner said across the table to me, he actually preferred Magiano's lasagne to theirs. Tiramisu was excellent but chocolate cake seemed to be purchased from local grocer. As I have gift certificate, will go again and try something different and see if we can get out the door less than $85 for mid-week, everyday dining.

Service was very bad....they only had 2 people waiting tables for the entire restaurant....the owner and another server.

Food was okay, bread was cold, it took 45 minutes to get just water and bread.

They ran out of veal on a Saturday night, I was lucky I ordered mine when I did.

We would have left if we did not have a Groupon.

Would not recommend this restaurant.

Always a good meal at one of our favorite dining spots

This is usually a very quaint authentic Italian dining experience. I brought my friend here before the theater. There was a HUGE loud party of about 16 seated right next to us within 10 minutes of our arrival in what is usually a very cozy dining room. They were understaffed for this party so we had no dedicated wait staff and a very noisy crowded experience. Not the usual charming experience. I'd suggest that large parties like this be seated elsewhere rather than in the small cozy space with other diners. The food was, as always, great.

We ate at Cafe Trastevere prior to seeing Cirque Du Soleil's La Nouba in Orlando. We went here based upon feedback and reviews we read on OpenTable and the reviews were on the money. The food was authentic, the staff was great, and the restaurant was very quaint. I had the Gnocchi with their Bolognese sauce. They were cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My date got the mushroom ravioli and she raved about them. We split a tasty tiramisu for desert and I enjoyed one of the best cappuccinos I have had in a long time. It was a great experience and if I am ever in Orlando, I would defiantly return.

C.T. is one of our favorite restaurants in the Orlando area! We invited several friends and were confident that they would be pleased and they were!

This was our second visit to Café Trastevere. This restaurant has the same charm as many of the quaint places in one of our favorite sections of Rome, Italy. Reasonably priced and excellent food.

We were celebrating a birthday. All of the food was delicious and so was the wine. Had a table in the corner which was cozy & quiet so we could enjoy each others' conversation. Great place!

We always go out to eat at least twice a month so we decided to go here based on their menu and location. When we arrived, we weren't necessarily greeted and were basically told we could pick our seating (inside or outside) so since everyone was outside, we figured we'd be better off inside. Wrong. We barely had any service and I don't recall the waiter or owner smiling at either of us once. When asked what kinds of alcohols they had, the server seemed irritated and gave us a very poor selection. When I asked if he had about three different drinks, he said "No". They didn't have much of anything.. even juices and sodas.. I asked for sweet tea once he finally said they have tea but he said "Not sweet, just tea" so we ordered water since they barely had anything at all to choose from. Then we ordered two of the most expensive items on the menu and it was taking a while for it to come out. One woman came in about 35 minutes after us and sat right behind us. Ironically, she ordered the lobster ravioli, just as I ordered. The server brought out my husband's food and then dropped MY lobster ravioli off with the woman BEHIND US.... Yeah.. imagine that.. not only is it completely ignorant to drop a plate down for one person in a party but not the other person.. but my food WAS done.. it was just placed BEHIND me so the woman started munching away and guess who had to wait another 20 minutes while they prepared her dinner? Yeah, and did they apologize? Discount anything? Nope. Never going back and I don't recommend it. The food was average if not below that, their drink selection was extremely poor, and their service was the absolute worst.

This restaurant never fails to deliver consistently great food and service in a charming and friendly environment. Best downtown restaurant for a pre-game or show dinner.

My husband and I chose this restaurant to have a quiet, cozy, Italian meal, and we were not disappointed! The dining area was small, but roomy enough to maintain privacy between tables. The food was EXCELLENT! We had calamari as an appetizer, which was cooked to perfection and their Veal Saltimboca Roma with a Marsala sauce that was de-lish!!! We were looking for authentic, home-made Italian, and were not disappointed. My husband and I absolutely plan on returning the next time we are in the area.

Brought the kids for birthday dinner before Downtown Concert and they loved the gnocchi and tortellini. Antipasto is extremely nice.

All around great marks.

The restaurant was very small but cozy. Italian decor with some paintings on the walls. I had lasagna which I love and kinda gauge an Italian restaurant by its lasagna. This was a 4/5. Their Marsala also looked good. My wife has chicken piccata which also was very good. Service was a little indifferent, but there was a very large private party going on in the upstairs private room which could have made the difference so I will overlook the service this time. Would definite ga back again.

I have been driving by this place for years but had never tried it before. Glad that I finally went there as the food was wonderful. The 4 of us that went thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I will definitely be going back there again.

It is a small restaurant with only a few tables. When we arrived at 6:30 pm, we were the only guests. By the time we left the restaurant was full.

We started the meal with a plate of calamari that were lightly breaded and cooked just right. The side sauce was delicious and hardy. The bread was thick slices of a hardy Tuscan bread. The salads were crisp and fresh. I had the linguine with clams in a buttery sauce. The clams were in their shell. It was fab! Other members of my party had the special -- salmon over spaghetti and chicken parma. No one left hungry. Unfortunately, we had no room to try the desserts. Maybe next time.

Two of us having to chat about an issue. It was the first dining there for both of us. The service and food were fantastic except my guest commented that his portion was small relative to the price. I was happy with my with my portion of chicken parmigiana and took food home. The patio looked inviting however it was too hot and humid outside.

The lobster ravioli is one of the best I've had. They service is exceptional.

Nice authentic Italian menu. Would have preferred to listen to Italian music while dining at the Italian restaurant but otherwise a wonderful dinner and great wine.

A real "hole in the wall" but in a great way. This excellent Italian restaurant appears to be located in a converted house. The atmosphere is quiet, intimate and cozy. The prices are comparable to what you would expect to pay at a chain restaurant, but the food is much better. I had a 6:45pm reservation and entered the quiet restaurant as the 3rd customer. The main area appears to seat about 20. I ordered la caprese as an appetizer and quickly received three slices of tomato and mozzarella, fresh and tasty. The accompanying bread was very good, although it should come out warm, my only suggestion for improvement. My meal was the fantastic penne alla vodka. The penne and sauce were incredible and the salmon was clearly fresh. In fact, there was but a hint of fish taste despite the amount in the dish. The service by Silvio was personable and respectful. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would absolutely return.

We were hesitant to come here after reading some unfavorable reviews but we had a wonderful experience. "Too hot" - nope. There are two AC units in a small dining room and it was a comfortable 70 degrees. "Rude wait staff" - nope. The staff was attentive, courteous and professional. "Long wait for service" - nope. The time from ordering to serving was appropriate for a fresh cooked meal. We will go back again and hopefully the weather will allow us to sit in the outdoor garden dining area.

It had been a number of years since we visited Trastevere and we are so glad we did. It's a wonderful small restaurant that still excels . Food was excellent, service prompt and friendly and the ambiance warm and friendly. We had a chance to chat with the owner who is clearly proud of his restaurant and he gave us a tour of changes made since our last visit. Trastevere is back on our list of great restaurants in Orlando. We will be returning regularly!

was good but not excellent italian food. typical local place but a bit over priced. there were some small menu substitutions that the kitchen tried to get past us - some froze items - very average but they tried hard
