Food wise, if you stick to the pasta you can have a very good meal. The noni spaghetti was excellent. The appetizer shrimp was drowning in sauce. The appetizer beets were just ok. The special of pork tenderloin was awful - waaaay over cooked and flavorless. The servers are pleasant.
The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The ambiance was fine, a bit stereotyped. The ravioli were undercooked, in fact down right chewy. Salad was very typical. Nothing here worth revisiting.
Nice place for a family to gather and get a good bite to eat. Very casual and food was priced reasonably.
Always a gentle experience as the staff are not intrusive but very attentive and available.
waiters and owner need to be friendlier! Pur a smile on the face
Great neighborhood restaurant.
we had a great business lunch. special fish was to die for.
This place always has excellent food, but it is rarely too crowded. The location from the outside may not appear fancy, and the experience is all substance.
With white table clothes and a menu that harkens back to its roots in Los Gatos' Café Marcella, this place provides a nice quiet place to have a casual, no-pressure date or a business meeting where you can hear what the other parties are saying. It is one of the few places started by the original crew from Café Marcella that still has the smoked chicken fettucine that we crave from the old restaurant.
The service is attentive, and the dishes arrive in a timely fashion.
Great Italian food, exceptional service. Clean, quiet and not crowded.
Still our favorite Italian restaurant over the past 15 years. Feel like owner Ivan and staff are part of our family as we have celebrated so many of our life milestones here. This is the best type of local neighborhood restaurant serving a loyal community customer base that comes back over and over. Hope it’s here forever!
Very pleasant atmosphere. Not rushed at all. We were there for lunch. A few more light options on the mid-day menu would be nice.
Very good service. food was good. enjoyable environment.
We have eaten here twice in the past 8 months. The service was excellent and the food is awesome. We will be going back once a month moving forward.
It’s a small restaurant, but that makes a special place to dine.
As usual, the food is very good. However, our friend who always likes the Lasagna, said it tasted as if it was a re-heat of a dish prepared the previous day. Very disappointing for him.
Nicoise and octopus/calamari salads were both successes. The quiet atmosphere was perfect for catching up with a friend over lunch.
Great food as usual and service. Was nice to enjoy a late business lunch.
Cafe Torre has been around for a very long time and that's not surprising because it does not disappoint. The ambience is intimate, the food is delicious, the wine choices are excellent, the service is attentive and friendly but never intrusive. The pate appetizer is always wildly generous.
Cafe Torre is remarkably quiet in a world where restaurants seem to outdo each other on noise so it's a great place to go with a friend, a partner, a date, anyone you actually want to talk to!
We've eaten there for special occasions and occasionally just because we felt like it. It's the kind of place you'd probably never find unless you lived around here and amen.
I was invited by good friends to join them at this place, one of their favorites in Cupertino. We shared a wonderful Caear salad and a plate of Sautéed Prawns, tomatoes, olives, Feta cheese, followed by Noni's spaghetti traditional three meat sauce-- "A family favorite" for four generations, Pasta Amatriciana and the daily special, Risotto Milanese (with Saffron) - all very tasty and cooked to perfection. I recommend this restaurant and will certainly return
Excellent dinner. Risotto with sea scallops and caviar was out of this world, we will be back very soon.
We very much enjoyed this Wine Bar and Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
The food, at Cafe Torre, is just like eating in one of Italy's top restaurants. We started with the Calamari Fritte, cooked very nicely (crispy and not "chewy") and the Beet Carpaccio, well seasoned and delicious. The mixed Green and Caesar salads were very good. Noni Spaghetti, very meaty and with a great sauce, Linguine Clams, light sauce and delicious, Seafood Pasta, cooked to perfection, Carbonara Pasta, creamy and smooth and the Lasagna equally flavorful. The home made Tiramisu and Cheesecake would both rival any that we had in Italy.
The Mushroom Risotto was the one dish that we did not care for. We had ordered this in the past and both times, the risotto was under-cooked and salty.
Overall though, the food was excellent.
Wonderful pastas.......and great service. Mila is exceptional!
Had a wonderful business lunch here. Food was phenomenal and the client was very happy. We were able to easily conduct our business conversation as well. Thanks so much!
We had a great lunch, food was exceptional and service was great
Never disappoints! Knowledge staff; solid, well-prepared food
Great service, fantastic local wine list, outstanding food!
We love cafe torre. We have been coming here for years with our kids and now that they are gone, just the two of us. The food is always superb, we love the staff and I look forward to the weekend when I can just relax with a good glass of wine, the delicious shrimp appetizer, arugula salad and Noni’s spaghetti!
Excellent little restaurant with very good food and great service. I am never disappointed!
wonderfull specials, staff and owner were great!!!
Cafe Torre has been our go-to resataurant for many years now, owner and staff are amazing in making you feel a home. Food is outstanding!!!
Was a little packed, but it was Valentine's day. Food was fantastic as is usual in my experience. Service was prompt considering how full they were.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Nice lunch portions since the price was $20. up for most entrees.
A nice neighborhood restaurant. Service and food are always excellent. We always have a good experience there.
Great food and service.
While the atmosphere was quite nice , the restaurant conducive to great conversation and the staff were helpful, the food was very disappointing. The risotto was not cooked properly and neither was the pappardelle which had to go back for further cooking.
Great food; great value; the lights are way too bright.
Cafe Torre is the best resaurant in Cupertino and possibly far beyond. The revice is impecable, not intrusive, type of service you would receive in any European restaurant. Food is of highest qaulity, and daily specials never dissapoint.
This is one of our favorite restaurants, we have been going there for 20 years. Owner, and staff are amazingly personable and food is superb!!!
A great neighborhood gem. Very popular , good service and food.
The food was good. The fried calamari appetizer was excellent. The fish special was great, the swuid ink risotto with scallaps was ok (I hadn't had squid ink risotto before and found that I didnt' care for it. It was well cooked, however, and the scallops were good). Service was pretty inattentive, we decided not to bother with dessert because of it. Overall an okay experience.
