Cafe Terra Cotta Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I had our first date there 7 years ago. Have gone back for our “anniversary” most years since. We’re disappointed this year. Menu stagnant and very limited. Service was just adequate and food was ok. Sorry to not be able to report better. Will have to give serious consideration before going back for dinner again. Will note, however, that breakfast and lunch there still are strong.
We have been to and enjoyed this old historic home in Old Littleton which has been converted to a classy eating and socializing environment many times over the past few years. After this last visit, were were not satisfied as we had in the past. We usually would get the Walleye entree, but they no longer have it, and the other entree choices just did not rock our world like the Walleye did. Also no longer on the menu, which was amazing, was the Nanaimo Bar for dessert.
Terra Cotta has a lot of nice features and flavors and a great feel, so it is worth a try. We hope the management gets this memo and puts those items back on the menu.
This has become one of my favorite two restaurants west of I-25. Not sure why I didn't happen across it sooner. I reserve five star food ratings for fine dining that's far more expensive, but this isn't far behind making it an outstanding bang for your buck.
A party of 6 so not alot of spaces to seat us. We were near the kitchen but my partner enjoyed watching the chef at the grill...great great service, very personal, the noise level can get loud, but we certainly did our best to contribute...our group had lamb, duck, beef wellington, ribeye, and everyone totally enjoyed the dishes. Top notch. Also loved our salad with blue cheese and avocado. Wine list was extensive and something for everyone. Make reservations! Cannot get in otherwise.
I met my sister-in-law for dinner on Friday evening. Very glad we had reservations, as it was packed and there were folks waiting. Service was attentive, and our server provided several recommendations that were quite helpful. The noise level was the only downside; it was difficult for us to hear each other from time to time. But, it's a charming and warm location, and our meal was superb.
We dined again at Café Terra Cotta for a celebration. When we asked about a bottle of champagne we got the Sommelier whose recommendation was fabulous along with an appetizer that was his personal favorite which we all enjoyed. This was my third visit this year and I plan on coming back in December.
