Great food and atmosphere. Service was good too. Just too pricey. Two appetizers and a cocktail, $78
Typical french cuisine with a great service! A neighborhood gem
Amazing French bistro
Food and service were fantastic. Food was slow to come out, but we weren’t in a hurry. It’s fairly expensive for the neighborhood, and VERY loud. Overall, we enjoyed it, but because of the price, probably won’t go that often.
Just a wonderful Silver Lake dining experience
Lovely atmosphere, experience, and food. No complaints. Sommelier excellent.
The food was immaculate and the overall ambience was also stellar. Thank you Cafe Stella!
one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles, a special gem in Silverlake for sure. This visit had some issues as they ran out of a particular dish but the waiter did his best to accommodate and make up for things. I look forward to returning again soon.
Best mussels in LA.
Loved loved it!!! Everything was great, but a bit on the pricey side!!
One of THE best meals I’ve had in LA! The Cote du Boeuf was fantastic!! The wines were wonderful as well!
I love this place. Waiters can be snooty but food is very consistently great!
I thought the food was ok. The steak and fries was good. The escargot was good. The mussels weren't that great.
The service wasn't great - it could use some work. We went on a Friday night and staff was struggling with the patrons
Very good as usual with exception of a loud and obnoxious group seated near the kitchen.
Lovely dinner in a lovely environment. My halibut was perfectly cooked. Service on point. Always good at Cafe Stella.
Once again, a great place to meet friends for dinner!
As always the food 🥘 is delicious yummy!
The atmosphere on the patio is so charming with little lights. The server was so sweet. I wish I’d want to go back. But The wine, at almost 20$ a glass was very expensive and all bottles still kept the price that high. But the steak was terrible with an odd sauce and even soggy French fries? For over 40$. French onion soup was average. I would have been ok with the so so not so great food and just chalked it up to nice conversations not a lovely patio if the bill wasn’t almost 200$ with tip. Very expensive French fries!
I’ll go back for a glass of wine and conversation but no food and no more than one glass
Our server was great and the food was delicious. They have a large selection of wine and a well designed menu. The darker mood lighting and ambiance makes it great for a date but large parties were also there enjoying the space.
The hostess named Veronica was so darling and welcoming it set the mood for an amazing evening of great food and wine👍❤️
One of my favorites! Love the French bistro menu and romantic setting.
My Husband and I had been wanting to try Cafe Stella for some time because it always looked like it had a great atmosphere for both hanging out at the bar/lounge area and to eat. The service was great, the staff was knowledgeable on the foods, the food was tasty. We ended up ordering a few appetizers and charcuterie board with one small entree because we wanted to try a bunch of stuff. All the dishes were done well and we were really happy with everything we ordered. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a nice yet casual dining experience.
My last three visits to this place have been so disappointing. The ambiance is terrific but the service is sloppy and the food is mediocre at best. They recently raised the prices and I don't think it is worthy.
Great dinner for 7 of us for my husband's birthday! Steak cooked perfectly!
Cafe Stella is such an amazing place.. Actually is my fav place in all of LA.. Consistent and dependable for an awesome dinner or somewhere to have superb drinks for a great price..
Pretty patio dining with lovely service and good, very French, food. Veggies are delish, and steaks good too, so something for everyone. Feels fancy, while still casual.
Cafe Stella has a menu that suits a wide variety of tastes from filling comfort food like spaghetti and meatballs or meatloaf to healthy entree salads and sandwiches. Friendly and quick service Pleasant ambiance and a very good value
Food was great. Love the ambience too. Good experience.
Obviously my favorite spot in LA since I go there all of the time...everyone that works there makes it even more special :)
Everything was done very well. The one downside for our gathering was the noise level. Very difficult to hear conversation at our own table. It is sometimes painful to keep raising voices to be heard.
We sat in the bar for dinner and loved the atmosphere, especially Veronica the adorable girl at the front made us feel welcome. Dinner was perfect❣️
A favorite in Silverlake. Excellent French cuisine. Dinners are great there..
The ambiance of this place is lovely. We were looking for a quaint restaurant and received incredible service, great wine suggestions, and delicious food. Definitely would recommend for a date or just a nice night out.
One word, YUM! Love this place and their staff... Consistent to the bone! Brava!
Pleasant hideaway, funky decor with an excellent bar. Though the restaurant was crammed, it still had an element of intimacy about it and we thoroughly enjoyed the professional staff and food presentation. Good wine menu - if not a bit overpriced relative to other spots, but there are some finds.
By far my favorite restaurant on the east side no matter how many times we go. Simply the best food, vibe, and feel of anything on the east side!
Always reliable delicious
I love the food here ... always have ... but the level of disinterest from the hostess all the way to the servers is getting out of control. My favorite sole muenier should be served with a little less snark.
I don’t know why I didn’t receive points for my reservation, because it was a great dinner! We all showed up and had a great time.
