Café Sapori Ratings and Reviews
The restaurant was overbooked and frantic. People waiting, more people coming in.
We waited 4o minutes to be seated. No one checked to
See whether we needed anything while we waited
We have eaten here many times. The kitchen was too stressed to do a good job. Not a good experience tonight.
Pretty darn good place. The misses picked it for New Year's Eve. Place was packed. Food was awesome. Only downsides was the food came out quick - like fast food quick. We barely had our drinks and BAM - apps came. Barely finished apps and BAM entree was there. Drinks were good (although each were incorrect) ... Food tasted awesome. As a guy who worked in the food industy before - i attribute all shortcomings (minimal) to rush the holiday. I would go on a normal night again, but probably not on a holiday.
Went on New Year's Eve and restaurant was very festive. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating (I have food allergies and they were able to give me options). Our guest from out of town that travel to Europe/Spain etc. said the food was very delicious, but thought a little pricey for the portions served, but it was New Year's Eve. I thought the ravoli dish I had was a little light and could have had more for the $32 plate price. Overall, we would recommend the restaurant to go to again.
Absolutely poor service. Dinner took three times as long as it should have. Noise level intolerable. Wait staff didn’t follow through with requests and didn’t seem to give a hoot. Tables so smashed together that it was like a sardine can. Like slipping the hogs.
Started the evening with a glass of wine at the bar-even though reserved table was indeed ready-Jessica at the bar was welcoming and friendly!
Wonderful wine list and the freshest grilled sea bass followed-loved their Italian cheesecake-will definately go back again!
We have dined here several times and always have a great meal. Everyone is greeted as soon as they enter. All the staff Is always friendly and the food is fabulous! This restaurant is so quaint too. Beautifully decorated during the Christmas holidays. If you haven’t tried the restaurant please go! And making a reservation on open table is easy as 1 2 3.
I entertained 3 guests who had not been to Café Sapori, even tho they live in Florida. They loved it and I have mentioned this before.....one feels as if they are in Manhattan when you dine there. The waiters are very professional and are there for your every need.
We all ordered something different but I go back for the Ravioli with spinach and parsnip garnish. Love it !!!
Located at the corner of Southern Boulevard and Washington Road, you might zip past the unassuming peach stucco and hedge enclosure, but this elegant restaurant is not to be missed. Refined, but not stuffy, our server was polite, informed and attentive but never hovering. The Osso Buco Papparadelle was rich and savory, Risotto ai Frutti di Mare delicious, but the ever tricky calamari in the sauce could have been more tender. The clams, shrimp and scallops, however, were very fresh and tender. The special of Asparagus and Winter Squash Ravioli was the standout, with tender pasta asparagus ricotta and sautéed cubed winter squash and a hint of fresh thyme. The desserts were perhaps some of the best I have had anywhere. The cannoli with sweet sheep milk Ricotta were perfection, accompanied with julienne of candied Seville orange peel, pistachio ice cream and Limoncello syrup. The special carrot and pear tart was a surprising flavor combination that worked well, the caramelized carrot providing a depth of flavor to the dessert. The pastry chef here is clearly an artist. I hope to return on my next visit to West Palm Beach.
