Café Sapori Ratings and Reviews
We are regular patrons here and for good reason: The food is always exceptionally prepared, delicious and timely. The service is second to none. There's a reason why it's hard to get a table, because it is that popular. Service is outstanding, as is the ambiance. My ONLY nit-pic: When it's crowded, it would be better for conversing if they didn't add the piped in music. But it won't stop us from going...it's arguably our favorite restaurant in the county.
Saturday night with friends. Tuna tartar app enjoyed by all. My Sapori Gnochi was consistency of Chef Boyarde and tasted like it. Branzino was raved about. Wait staff was rushed. Waiter asked at the end what the birthday girl would like for dessert. She ordered a dessert. It was not comped. A very uneven night. Will probably give it another chance since the menu is extensive and atmosphere is also very nice.
We had a great experience Saturday night at Cafe Sappori. We hadn’t been there for several years and friends of mine suggested we eat there after they heard good reviews from other people, so we decided to give it another try. The menu is extensive and adventurous, service was attentive, the atmosphere elegant and energetic and the food was excellent. Our friends and I have been to Italy several times and we all agree the food was as good as what we’ve had there. Which is really saying something. Before I left, I made reservations to come back. I’m hoping for a repeat performance!
The restaurant was overbooked and frantic. People waiting, more people coming in.
We waited 4o minutes to be seated. No one checked to
See whether we needed anything while we waited
We have eaten here many times. The kitchen was too stressed to do a good job. Not a good experience tonight.
Pretty darn good place. The misses picked it for New Year's Eve. Place was packed. Food was awesome. Only downsides was the food came out quick - like fast food quick. We barely had our drinks and BAM - apps came. Barely finished apps and BAM entree was there. Drinks were good (although each were incorrect) ... Food tasted awesome. As a guy who worked in the food industy before - i attribute all shortcomings (minimal) to rush the holiday. I would go on a normal night again, but probably not on a holiday.
Went on New Year's Eve and restaurant was very festive. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating (I have food allergies and they were able to give me options). Our guest from out of town that travel to Europe/Spain etc. said the food was very delicious, but thought a little pricey for the portions served, but it was New Year's Eve. I thought the ravoli dish I had was a little light and could have had more for the $32 plate price. Overall, we would recommend the restaurant to go to again.
