This is an old-fashioned Italian restaurant. The food is actually quite well prepared. Highlights were the Caesar salad and chicken with figs and roasted potatoes. The service is a bit stand offish and there is zero ambience. If you are younger than 65 you will be the youngest folks there. Before you think we dined earlier in the evening, our reservation was for 8PM.
While the food is good, I would not recommend this restaurant as it took over an hour to get our first course. The restaurant was also extremely noisy, so loud in fact that the two of us had difficulty hearing each other. We also asked for a garden table, were promised one if we were prepared to wait a few minutes at the bar, and then were seated in the restaurant's dining room, without explanation on why we no longer were going to get a table in the garden.
Been here many times and while I do intend to return my wife is most unhappy with the level of noise all around us. did not make our guests comfortable, just the opposite. Most disappointing dinner as a result.
The restaurant was wonderful. The service was exceptional with the waiter sharing his knowledge of the menu items as well as characteristics of the wines. The food was authentic and offered a great sampling of Italian cuisine. We are glad we found this hidden gem. We will absolutely return for a taste of Italy.
Great place for Italian meals, just a bit expensive for lunch. Otherwise it was a very nice and tasty meal.
I was recommended to dine here and was not disappointed. I will be returning very soon!
Excellent food! We had lasagne, sea bass, ravioli and steak as entrees in our group. All items were delicious and well prepared. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
Great meal will definitely return
Older venue and it shows a bit but the ambiance is much better than I would have expected pulling up and walking in. A bit of arrogance from the wait staff that was completely unfounded and unappreciated by our group. Grilled Calamari was memorable, wine list had some reasonably priced upper end choices and the overall meal was above average for sure. A neighborhood gem that likely caters to those who frequent more so than a newcomer was our impression. I would return if asked by friends and would probably eat there regularly if I lived closer. We have to drive past a few like-kind or better restaurants to get there from our residence.
Excellent as always. Good service delicious food nothing to complain about.
Excellent food, wine & Service. Rather noisy, however. Good sized room.
Always a pleasure to eat at Cafe Sapori. Consistent through and through and Palo and Francesca put the personal touch on it to make you feel special!
Food was served almost cold, waiter was not attentive. But we were there for the first time the prior week and everything was wonderful, which is why we returned.
We always have a nice meal here but Sunday night they were not crowded and the meal was especially delicious.
First time it was very loud but died down at 930. Food was grea but lasagna fantastic but not enough. Service was outstanding. We spent the night there with no one pushing us out like other places.i will come again and bring my daughter and her husband
We were a bit of a problem table with special and changed orders. Overall, the wait staff handled all our issues with smiles and proper accommodation. High praises to them. The food was not nearly as good as we have had in many past dinners there. The lasagna was more like a soup than a baked dish.
Cannot believe I have not been there before met some friends and had such a wonderful dinner each dish was impeccable as was the service and the ambience will certainly be returning
We went to Cafe Sapori from a friends recc., & it was great!
The pasta came as I ordered it (Aldente), the appetizers were good & authentic!
The service led by Luca was as good as it gets.
Cafe Sapori has made customer s of the Persico family
Love eating outside in this restaurant Always quieter than inside. Service was slow this time but our waiter was very professional when he arrived
Outstanding meal and outside atmosphere
Great food on a wonderful atmosphere with great service.
Loved everything I had. Have to return, there were so many things on the menu I wanted to try.
Great atmosphere, great food!!! Paulo and Francesca always make you feel welcome 😎
We had an exceptional meal and a great wine and the service was truly exceptional. Definitely will return to this outstanding restaurant!
The occasion was my wife's 70th birthday. We had family down for the event and decided to go to Cafe Sapori. It was our fourth visit to this restaurant. The food is always good, sometimes even exceptional. The service was flawless despite the demands from other diners.
I would suggest early reservations, the place gets very crowded very fast with a corresponding energetic noise level.
The Caesar salad was outstanding. The best I have ever had.
Tried and true food service atmosphere Bravo! Friendly well dressed upper-class people easy access to and from Delray along A1A or 95 or Wellington down Southern
We are regular patrons here and for good reason: The food is always exceptionally prepared, delicious and timely. The service is second to none. There's a reason why it's hard to get a table, because it is that popular. Service is outstanding, as is the ambiance. My ONLY nit-pic: When it's crowded, it would be better for conversing if they didn't add the piped in music. But it won't stop us from going...it's arguably our favorite restaurant in the county.
The service was perfunctory when our waiter deigned to stop by the table. My pasta tasted like it had been prepared hours before it was served. There was minimal pasta that was drowned in sauce.
Welcoming service and delicious food.
Burrata, porcinni mushroom pasta and veal medallions were all superb.
Definitely one of my first spots on flying into PBI
Wish the waiter would have explained the steak tartare to my gf as she ordered it and didn't know exactly what she was ordering. She ended up not eating it and went home hungry.
Great service, good food, right size portions, average Palm Beach price
Valentines Day, should have expected this restaurant to be very busy. That said the kitchen and staff handled the. Extra business. The food was prepared properly and the service was right on.Remarkable.
Food great. Very noisy. Have to yell to have conversation
Just too loud and too crowded. Food was tasty but having a conversation was difficult and people often hitting out seats. Otherwise a good meal
Really fun place for "tourists" to people watch. Lovely evening
Great food, good cliental - met really nice people.
Food excellent but very noisy. Probably because it was a Saturday night. Been there during the week and much quieter.
Saturday night with friends. Tuna tartar app enjoyed by all. My Sapori Gnochi was consistency of Chef Boyarde and tasted like it. Branzino was raved about. Wait staff was rushed. Waiter asked at the end what the birthday girl would like for dessert. She ordered a dessert. It was not comped. A very uneven night. Will probably give it another chance since the menu is extensive and atmosphere is also very nice.
