We're located right across the street from landmark Fort Greene Park, and 3 blocks away from BAM and Theatre for a New Audience.
Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.
It was way too hot, their AC was dismal. We had to leave.
Very pleasant, very French. Great choice if you have an evening planned at BAM.
Family visiting out of state
Cafè Paulette is a gem, a special place with the ambiance of a secret meeting place for lovers, close friends and artists.
Food was so fresh and delicious and it’s such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We adore it!
Great ambiance, good traditional French food. Couldn’t ask for more.
Terrific French Cafe & great choice for before/after performances at BAM complex. Always pleasant experience - this time the bouillabaisse was especially notable - very "light" with delicious sauce and aioli on crusty bread. Nice wine selection.
Third time th
Went for s birthday dinner and the meal could not be better.
The place is lovely but loud. Not great for having a quiet conversation. Food was delicious, especially the moules frites. Staff was exceptional! Merci beaucoup!
Lovely French Bistro. Excellent choices and relaxed friendly vibe. Delicious food.
I like the food, the ambience, and especially the service. All staff are polite and attentive. Nickolai is superb and gets my highest rating for recommendations, service and friendliness.
Glasses were dirty
Mental was too limited
Love the food and preparation. Sweet little spot. Nice touch service!
the food was so cute in this little brasserie ! and the ambiance is perfect for francophiles and more :) high high recommend
Our party of 5 was squeezed into a table for four. Meanwhile a table of 6 was empty for most of our time there and then later occupied by two people. It would've been a much nicer experience if we had space to sit comfortably.
This is a surprisingly great restaurant in an unlikely place, but close enough to BAM to make it an excellent choice for dining after a performance.
We've been coming here for six years when we come to visit our grandchild. This is our oasis and time for us.
A pleasant spot my third time there. Service attentive. However, put off my happy hour limited to bar. We sat for full dinner and had to pay double what barstools were paying just a few feet away? Not cool.
A terrific place to go pre-theater for TFANA or BAM.
Excelent food, wine and beautiful space
The food is lovely, service is good, the vibe is upbeat and the playlist is classic. One of our favorite places.
Such a cute place. Really lovely neighborhood spot. We went before a concert at BAM. Good food and ambiance. Our teenage kids also enjoyed it.
Cute restaurant along the Fort Greene park. We enjoyed the mussels of the day and the burger. The room is small and cozy, but comfortable.
Great food and customer service. I would recommend it to a friend.
Very nice small French cafe near the bam. Menu a bit small but all was good - tuna in salad nicoise was perfect and onion soup quite good. Nice wines. Good place
Special wild salmon dish was fantastic. Service friendly and attentive. My favorite place to go before BAM.
Waited a hour for a 9:00 reservation and the restaurant didn’t do anything to help the prior table along once deserts and coffe were well over. They did give us drinks on house. When food arrived French fries were cold and soggy and not what you’d expect at a French place. Steak was tough and French onion soup not good. We ate here once and it was good so maybe it was an off night?
A charming, smaller bistro located across from the Ft. Greene Park run by French people who understand French food.
Limited menu food ok not great good coffe
Nice breakfast spot. A bit tight for a larger group, but perfect for a brunch with an old friend.
Very pleasant French bistro, with fresh delicious food ... a little pricey but the organic wines and good ingredients make it worth it.
The food was great. A little tight seating - wise, loud. Great service
decent food, surly service but overall fun vibe that makes the place a n'hood staple.
The food was great and service was great. It was a bit over price but I would love to go again
The service was busy, possibly somewhat understaffed but efficient. I had the couscous which was excellent but would have been better withe sausages mixed in rather than laid on top.
Food was super. When we arrived on time there had been a mix up and there was no table for us. We ended up sitting at the very inviting bar and had great service. So all was well.
Space is a bit cramped, but it'a a nice ambience, and the food and service are excellent.
Very tasty and the service was very good, which we appreciated because we were going to the theatre after dinner.
Delightful, authentic French bistro at the foot of Ft. Greene Park. Maybe 10 tables and a counter. Each of us had a sandwich + salad: one chicken and one portobello mushroom w/ goat cheese and cherry tomatoes. First:the BREAD was warm and crusty French bread. Fantastic. We deconstructed our sandwiches and ate everything separately! So yummy. My tea was served in a giant mug, just how I like it. Next time, I plan to get the gorgeous onion soup. Maybe oysters. Definitely a keeper!
