Cafe Panache Ratings and Reviews
Kevin is a master chef. The food is consistently first class and delicious and the servers are Pros. From the minute you walk through the door, you just know you're in for a treat. To top it off, it is BYOB. Great food, great wine, great service and all with great friends. Life is good.
This was my second time here and both experiences have been excellent. Service is wonderful and the changing menu offers many delicious options. Have the cappuccino after your meal; it's the creamiest I've ever tasted! Make sure you start with one of their delicious salads too!
Tuna on the menu (which replaced the Halibut) was outstanding, as was the filet mignon.
Raviolis also very consistent and excellent.
Was the day before Thanksgiving so some of the staff was not there. The seating was a bit odd given it wasn't full. Using a table to stage stemware in the main dinning area, not the best. Also plenty of tables were open to spread out the diners rather than crush a bit in the back. So while I have no issue with Russian, it would have been preferable to not have to listen to it all night given we were so close to the table next to us. Wife and I thought the service and reception, given we are regulars, was a bit off.
Consistently excellent food and service. We've tried halibut from north jersey to cape may and eat out frequently. Café P has a great take on the dish and remains at the top.
The Beef dishes are also great as are the raviolis for appetizer. BYOB...bring a good bottle.
First time back in two years and brought another couple singing praises about past dinners at cafe Panache. I must say were very disappointed as food fell well below expectations. Used to be one of my favorite spots. Service slow and food was mediocre at best.
Absolutely love this restaurant. The chef is so creative. On this occasion we split two entrees, halibut and free range chicken dishes. Each was of more than ample size accompanied by divine sides and wonderful tasting sauces. Would not hesitate to recommend Cafe Panache.
As always Panache lived up to our expectations. The menu selection was very diverse and offered us many dishes we both liked. We both were very pleased with our dinner and the service from Sal, our favorite waiter was as usual , top notch. Looking forward to returning and trying some other dishes.
We had not been here in over a year and forgot how good the restaurant was - there is a reason it is listed as one of the best restaurants in NJ every year. The food is nuanced and delicious. A fair amount of farm to table food that is fresh and extremely well prepared. The service is very competent and understated. Overall a fantastic meal. And because the restaurant is a BYO, the check was not overwhelmingly large. Highly, highly recommended.
Great selection of salads at lunch. Warm chicken salad was delicious as was the seafood pasta, which was shrimp and black pasta. Our server, Catherine, was knowledgeable on all the menu items and specials, right down to the herbs and spices used. Cafe Panache never fails to satisfy and there is always a new creative dish available.
Ricotta and tomato salad. The smoothest ricotta cheese I've ever had. So whipped and light. Corn agnolotti, light broth, fresh corn, amazingly cooked pasta.
Duck - medium rare breast and confit leg with crispy skin. Cooked perfectly.
Filet migeon ravioli- another great pasta dish. Hearty portion.
