Cafe Panache Ratings and Reviews
Nothing bad his way about this local favorite. Cafe Panache has the most professional staff around. Lunch today for our party of 6 was handled perfectly. A mix of salads, ravioli and specials featuring tuna and salmon provided the perfect balance for everyone. Guaranteed good food, professional service and a warm ambiance make this a perfect choice for any occasion.
Our experience at Cafe Panache was excellent, from greeting, to wait staff, to incredible meal, to perfect finish desserts! We were not rushed and really enjoyed savoring the delicacies of our meals. If fois gras and or calve's liver is one you enjoy, then its a must order! Remember to BYOB!
My husband and I went for dinner the other night for our 47th anniversary. We couldn’t have been happier. The ambience, the service and the food we’re off the charts perfect. We are already thinking of when we want to return back to this beautiful restaurant!
Our waiter was arrogant, rude and rushed us from the moment we sat down. ( We had a 5:30 reservation on a Sunday and we arrived early)!
The food was fresh but the sauces were over the top and ruined the flavor of a good steak au poivre. The filet mignon ravioli were terrible.
We have dined at Cafe Panache since they opened years ago and feel the food and character of this restaurant has deteriorated.
We will not be returning.
My husband and I had eaten at Cafe Panache in the past and had enjoyed the restaurant. On this particular evening we were dining with another couple. We had a 6pm reservation, the dinner moved along nicely and we were enjoying it up until the very end of our meal. At around 8:30 we had paid the check and were finishing up our wine and one remaining dessert on the table. The manager walked over to us and simply said "our next reservation is here". We were all stunned, we had never been to a restaurant where we were basically told to leave. We had a 6pm reservation, no where did it state it was a 6pm "seating" where we expected to have a firm time to end our dining. This left us with a poor taste in our mouths and we will not be returning.
Overall the food was quite good except that the rolls had an unpleasant after-taste.
The fillet mignon was good and well prepared.
The venison was generous, tasty, and well prepared, however I think Cafe 37 does it even better.
Always appreciate a very good BYO restaurant.
This is our second time eating at Cafe Panache. We liked it better the first time. It is my sister's favorite, which is why we go there -- we live two hours away and only go when we visit my sister. That said, the service is very good; the food is tasty and presented nicely. Just a bit pricey for what you get.
One of the best restaurants in New Jersey. Since Cafe Panache is a 30 minute drive from my home, I don't go as often as I should. Each time I do eat at Cafe Panache I realize that I should go more often and have already made a date to go back with friends in a few weeks.
The food, as always, was amazing! Two of the people complained about the service this time, but it did not bother me as was happy to be out celebrating. Love this restaurant and a great place in this area to celebrate "special" times as well as general dining.
Kevin is a master chef. The food is consistently first class and delicious and the servers are Pros. From the minute you walk through the door, you just know you're in for a treat. To top it off, it is BYOB. Great food, great wine, great service and all with great friends. Life is good.
This was my second time here and both experiences have been excellent. Service is wonderful and the changing menu offers many delicious options. Have the cappuccino after your meal; it's the creamiest I've ever tasted! Make sure you start with one of their delicious salads too!
Tuna on the menu (which replaced the Halibut) was outstanding, as was the filet mignon.
Raviolis also very consistent and excellent.
Was the day before Thanksgiving so some of the staff was not there. The seating was a bit odd given it wasn't full. Using a table to stage stemware in the main dinning area, not the best. Also plenty of tables were open to spread out the diners rather than crush a bit in the back. So while I have no issue with Russian, it would have been preferable to not have to listen to it all night given we were so close to the table next to us. Wife and I thought the service and reception, given we are regulars, was a bit off.
