Our go to restaurant for ladies lunch or gathering with good neighbor friends.
Cafe Pacific never disappoints. The food and the service are always stellar. The ambiance is stellar. It is a wonderful neighborhood gem that continues to last the test of time.
We went there because I saw the Pecan ball dessert on TV and I wanted to try it. I got the Seabass dinner and my husband got the scalloped dinner, both were over the most delicious risottos. They were absolutely perfect, cooked perfectly n they looked perfect as well. The service is impeccable. The pecan ball was not as fantastic as I thought it was going to be but we enjoyed it still. I would recommend this place. There is a dress attire code so keep that in mind.
I would usually rate this rest with 5 stars but, I think I just had a waiter who was off this night. We ordered a grilled red snapper that unknown to me came two differents ways, ( that the waiter did not explain ) so when dinner arrived it wasn't what we expected and ... to be truthful I was very disappointed. We didn't want to make an issue out of it so ....... we just ate it, paid the bill & left.
One of our very best dining experiences while in Dallas for a long weekend...elegant...fabulous, old-world service...fantastic food!!!!!!
Cafe Pacific is always the very best in
fine dining! It truly never disappoints!
What a great place! Superb service - always there, but in the background. Delightful atmosphere and highest quality food.
Café Pacific has always been a special place for us through the years, although this night was
disappointing. The hostess made it very obvious that, even though we had reservations and were on time,
many tables were being held for " regular customers", and we were directed to two different tables for
four in less than favorable locations. After she talked to the manager, we were seated in the main dining
area where there were 4-5 empty tables. Very annoying and rude. Of the four dinners ordered, three were
very disappointing. We'll skip it next time, we're not part of the "good old HP boys" crowd. Back to Del
Frisco's and Al's.....
Excellent food as always. This is a classic white table restaurant and the clientele are classic white-haired folks. excellent sea bass.
Hostess' voice is too loud and carries through the restaurant
We had dinner with friends and enjoyed the service and food. Great place to have a nice evening.
Cafe Pacific is always top notch. The service food and ambience are classic. I recommend the clam chowder., oysters Rockefeller and sole amandine. The halibut was nice, but slightly overcooked. Dessert was a really nice ice cream/chocolate/ caramel/ pecan mess which was really lovely. All in, a really good dining experience. My first time here was in 1984 and they are still top notch.
Perfect for my business lunch. Food was excellent, and the service was top notch.
Mark is the best!
Cafe Oacifuc offers delectable meals whether you choose a salad, fish or steak. It is grand for lunch or dinner, and I’m especially pleased that the staff is courteous, polite, and do not rush you!
Great for people who do not want to rub elbows with "the working class." Nice and classy with GREAT service and seemingly great clientele! A good place to go for a special occasion. $156.00 plus tip for 2 people plus valet parking tip, let the buyer beware!
Excellent, as always. Gracious, elegant and energetic service.
Such a fun night and incredible food! By far one of my new favorite restaurants in Dallas! Exceptional service!
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. Dieter is a fantastic Manager, and Walter is one the most skilled and professional Waiters in the industry. I highly recomend this restaurant.
Fantastic food! Great service and ambiance. I will go back
Great food, service and ambiance!
The service was very good. We never felt rushed. Our food came as we finished a course, not over lapping. Atmosphere is pleasant. Hostess was extremely nice when we arrived and when we left. Food was delicious!
Wanted to try a new restaurant for the Dine Out Dallas promotion and chose Cafe Pacific. The gumbo appetizer was great, the fish entree was not overwhelming, as the side slaw to the breaded sole was not an ideal component for me. The dessert was ok, but nothing I would order again. My dining companion was more thrilled with his Veal Chop than I was with my fish. And my friend did see some celebrities at the restaurant, so that's an added value.
Cafe Pacific continues to be my all-time favorite when gathering with family or friends in Dallas. I can always be assured that the fish will be delectable, cocktails will be prepared to order and the staff will be friendly and attentive. Of course, there are meat and vegetable options as well. I am just a lover of well-prepared fish and seafood. The ice cream ball of course is to die for!
We came for brunch. Food was delicious and service was warm and welcoming...thank you Peter.
Great food. Great service. Classiest place in town. Will be back soon.
Been here many times and service is usually excellent but not tonight. Rude bartender and a waiter who was indifferent to our dining with you. A restaurant should never get complacent especially in Dallas Texas with many options. Hoping this was an off night.
I was surprised that the Asian Chicken salad was made with iceberg lettuce. I expected mixed greens at the very least. I expected more. The seafood crepe and the clam chowder were delicious!
The host made us feel very special and the service was excellent and very attentive. Also loved the sweet potato sticks!
The menu for restaurant week is terrible. To offer a hamburger patty as upscale is ridiculous. We dined here before and it was wonderful but it was disappointing all around this time. At least the cheesecake was good.
Food was good but unremarkable. Our server spent most of his time attending to a single diner at another table.
The clam chowder, salmon and the pecan ball did not disappoint. I will make a return trip.
Very nice meal. Excellent service. Great menu choices. Did not feel rushed. Loved the birthday dessert!
Portions were perfect size and delicious. Great place for a couple or 2 couples.
We went in for Restaurant Week, and we were glad that we did. We both had lemon sole, and it was a treat. Prepared to perfection. The ambiance as always made for a pleasant dining experience. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the evening
Wonderful food and our waiter as outstanding! Try it you will love it.
Rueben was maybe the best waiter I have ever had. He was incredibly helpful, funny and never distracted from our business meeting.
Perfect! And we dine out a lot. We were visiting from miami. The chef was great. The hostess too!
The place, the ambiance and the food is just great. My daughter and I met the owner and he was such a nice man.
We dined at Cafe Pacific for KRLD’s Restaurant Week. The food, ambiance, service, courtesy and efficient staff were amazing. We are planning our next dining date at Cafe Pacific very soon. This wad a memorable experience!
I always appreciate the classic, elegant ambiance at Cafe Pacific! The food never disappoints and the wait staff is flawless. I love it for dinner and especially a late Sunday afternoon lunch.
It was my wife’s Birthday and the food was amazing!
