Nicely converted home. Very, very nice staff. Heard nice things before our visit. We will return!
Even during a snow storm, the place was packed which speaks towards to quality of Cafe Magnolia. No one wanted to miss out!! The staff was awesome and friendly and we (party of 6) never felt rushed or pushed out, especially when we were the last ones there. We will definitely be back again soon!
Amazing food, generous portions, polite staff. Come as you are or dress up for the occasion. This little gem deserves a reservation.
Made a reservation and table was ready right on time. Waitress was very good and came back often to check on us. Food was very good. Great place to meet friends and talk over dinner.
Went there for dinner while at a Global Awakening conference. We liked it so much, we went back for lunch the next day. Something for everyone, everything fresh and delicious. Yummy crab soup!
We love this place! The food was delicious, and service was great. If you haven't been here yet make sure to give it a try.
Dinner was excellent! Portions good. Service was good!
Definitely will be going back!!
I was with a group of nine. This was our first visit. Everyone enjoyed the food. We plan on coming back again. This was top rated by all.
Salmon dinner was was good. The mixed salad greens were not as described. Nothing but iceberg lettuce with lots of end pieces. Had to leave most of it. Fried shrimp on the salad was good.
I've been there for a dinner for two and for large party dinners and it never disappoints. It's a gem. They also go out of their way to accomodate their guests.
BYOB and no charge for bottle opening like some other restaurants charge. This was a girls night out and we were easily able to have a conversation instead of being drowned out by restaurant music, etc. We were not rushed to clear out which was greatly appreciated. Food was delicious. Highly recommend and will surely return.
We were a party of six and all of us enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to returning.
The food and service was excellent. We went for dinner but it is great for lunch also.
I've dined at Cafe Magnolia a number of times and the food has always been good. This time not so much. Six friends met there this past Saturday for dinner. Of the six, four people ordered the Mediterranean Chicken. First issue was cold risotto. As a replacement, the server brought something from the kitchen that looked more like cream of wheat. Next, some folks had uncooked chicken among the pieces. Those who complained about the chicken were comped half of the cost.
I'm sure some of the folks won't return. I may, but not for some time.
In comparison to price food quality was satisfactory. The food service was quick. The crab cakes were mush, vegetables were undercooked, and salad was lacking dressing. The best part about the meal was the dessert. We felt neglected by our server.
Our party was very cold. The management needs to turn up the heat during these cold temperatures. We will not go back.
Incredible food preparation and wonderful ambiance and hospitality! Thank you to Brien for making sure everything was perfect! Highly recommend Cafe Magnolia for almost any occasion!
Everything was great but we had to wait about 20-25 minutes even though we had a reservation.
Wow! The food was exceptional, and we want to return to try several more items on the menu. We started with the bruschetta, which was a delicious new take on the traditional dish. My husband enjoyed the veal marsala, and I enjoyed the bistro tender dish. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the prices were outstanding for the quality and quantity of food. We’ll make a point to return next time we’re in the area.
We were seated in a sunroom that was incredibly cold. It was about 20 degrees outside and the temperature on the thermostat kept dropping. I requested another table but they said that the other tables were taken. I complained again as it kept getting colder and no one apologized, they just shrugged their shoulders and agreed it was very cold. I should not have been able to make a reservation unless there was adequate seating available.
The restaurant was busy and very noisy. We we're seated in a very tight corner. The room was extremely hot. I asked our waitress to turn the thermostat down and I believe she did.
The food was average. Service was good. Not sure if I would return or recommend.
The food was fair. Broccoli was stone cold. Chicken was just okay
11 of us had a wonderful dinner-- our party consisted of 7 adults, 5 children including a 1 yr old. The restaurant is noisy enough that our party didn't appear to disturb anyone. Our meals were great and our waitress was wonderful.
Food is always fresh and the staff is always so courteous. Really a neighborhood gem!
Loved it! Great food and love the BYOB option to add my own wine to a wonderful meal.
Brought out of state clients here for dinner. Everyone loved their dish!
We love Cafe Magnolia and do takeout frequently. The actual restaurant is small, I'd recommend reservations if you want to eat there for dinner. We've never had a bad meal here and we've been going here for years! BYOB which is a bonus too. Some favorites are: Greek chicken wrap, Southwest chicken wrap, soups, and the Jess Salad with chicken (instead of shrimp).
My wife and i have been coming to this restaurant occasionally for five years or so. The food is always very good and the staff is accommodating and friendly. It is BYOB so we typically bring one of our own favorite wines to share with friends.
Server not attentive at all. Drink refills ignored for our table and next to us. Wanted regular butter but never saw her from dropping off bread till entrees arrived. No offer for dessert
